As promised a new chapter (Referring to A/N)

Ichigo and Daniel scurried discreetly along the the path under the pallid moon which majestically hung with a careless posture surrounded by orbs of light that had an astonishing twinkle. The moon had unmatched beauty, even as it started to sneer down at the two.

"What are you two doing?" A concerned, yet annoyed voice called out which caused the two mysterious boys – who seemed to think they were doing a good job at sneaking around – to slowly turn, taking deep breaths with every passing second.

Ichigo trailed a hand along his face, catching a sweat drop as his hand seemed to amble into his furry locks of orange. "Well," he started, not knowing what to say as a pale blush seemed to crawl upon his face. The boy's amber eyes seemed to wander around the other's face examining him and identifying him as the Captain of the Tenth Division, Toshiro Hitsugaya. Luminous-white hair which reflected the rays of the majestic moon.

"I don't care, just go," Toshiro said as he turned around. His white haori rippling behind him in the mild blows of the wind. "Get your friend away too," he added as turned his head around. Turquoise eyes piercing the ghost's, before turning back and disappearing in a flash.

Ichigo and Danny looked at each other with bewildered expressions, before they shook their tense shoulders and sighed. "I guess we can go," Danny awkwardly stated.

"...Yeah..."

An immense barrier stood in front of the two teenagers. They looked up in awe. "I'll go first," Ichigo offered as he stepped through into the corruscating light. Danny nodded as the teenage ghost followed sluggishly behind. One foot slowly in front of the other as his tracks began to lead into the light.

An uneasy feeling began to grow in the halfa's stomach as both of the boys managed to end up on the other side of the gigantic portal. Around them stood a large field of thick grass. It was rough like uncombed hair; long and waving as it rustled in the breeze. Shortly into the distance stood tall structures which loomed over the smaller structures, seemingly protecting them. The sun peared over the horizon, hugging the town with its warm glow and the stars which were deep in the sky danced their final before disappearing as they gradually started to die.

Danny's face lit up like a light and burst out with a sharp grin. His blue eyes widened his relief. Jumping up for joy, the boy let out a squeal of excitement. He emitted a proud laugh as he began to sprint towards the city.

"Wait!" Ichigo yelled out as his arm dove out and grabbed the boy by his collar. The Soul Reaper yanked him backwards as the black-haired boy jerked.

Snapping around with annoyance, he sent a death glare towards Ichigo. "What?" He gritted his teeth as he raised his arms and clenched his fists. "We're back! Aren't you happy?" Danny yelled out as he freed his collar from the hand of the taller teenager.

"I know, but before you do anything. I need to tell you something," he gestured with his words. Danny watched silently as the orange-haired boy started to speak again. "The time in the Soul Society and the Human world are not linked – we may have been gone what seemed a long time, but here it has only been a few hours."

"But–"

"It's fine. I'll make up something to your parents. Give it about an hour and you can return to your house...hopefully unharmed. But don't forget that any time someone from the Thirteen Court Guard Squads may come back to take you in. If that happens," his voice lit up, "I'll be here to save you."

(Line Break)

Danny walked through the sturdy door his parents stood, elevated above the short boy. Expressions of concern emitted from the two parents.

Danny flinched slightly, taking in their expressions. "W-What?" He stuttered.

In a flash, their anxious expressions vanquished. "Daniel, you never told us you stayed over at a friend's house!" His father beamed.

Awkwardly, the Fenton boy laughed. "Yeah...I forgot..."

"Hey, in a few days we're going back. Don't forget that," Jazz commented.

"O-Oh... yeah..." Danny remembered. 'That's right, back home... I will finally get away from this crazy town,' he thought to himself. The boy sighed with relief, with a force tugging on the edge of his soft lips.

The next day few days came appeared to start and end with a strong flash. Danny's final day of school in Karakura crept over the horizon as the sun slowly started to stretch its arms. He woke up slowly, his eyes fluttering and his body started to unwillingly heave itself up. Wiping the sleep out of his eyes, he stretched up and released an endless yawn.

"This is it," he spoke, his voice slurred. "The final day is here..." Silently, he congratulated hisself. Then threw himself down back onto the comfortable mess of blankets.

Aqua bubbles stretching towards the clock which rested on the bedside table, read the scarlet numbers '7:39'. 'Better get up, then.' Hastily, he got up once more. This time, Danny just ambled to the cupboard and hauled the seemingly heavy doors open. Tugging out some new clothes, he pulled them on himself like as if he'd rather die.

As he walked down the stairs, he grabbed his bag and carelessly flung it over his shoulder, whilst loosely clutching the handle of aforementioned bag. Afterwards, he walked out the door and strolled down towards the school where he'd meet his 'friends' and say good-bye to them for the final time before returning back to where he came from.

"Hey," Danny said as he waved towards the substitute Soul Reaper, picking up his pace to meet the boy and his friends. Beside him stood an orange-haired girl, tall just like the teen next to him. Her arms were behind her back as she walked, joyfully skipping along as she grinned. Hair flowing with the wind behind her as both of them finally came to a halt, standing in front of the ghost boy.

"Hey," Ichigo replied, holding up his hand.

"Hi!" Orihime chirped with her pulchritude orbs glistening.

Without a word, Ichigo's head tilted forwards slightly, beckoning them to continue their paths to the school. "So," Danny tried to establish a conversation. He breathed in. "It's my last day today." He let out the held breath as his eyes kept looking to the left, then the right.

Ichigo looked backwards and let out an inaudible noise before turning to the front. He looked down to his legs and muttered out, "so I guess this will be one of the last times I'll see you again – unless you get caught again." He chuckled a little bit, then sighed before looking up to the blazing sun which beamed down upon them.

"Good-bye," Ichigo smiled as Danny started to walk into the car where his family were, yelling at him to hurry up and get into the car.

"So, I'll see you when I'm in trouble," Danny laughed and rubbed the back of his head gracelessly. "'Bye," he waved off as he stepped into the car and sat down uncomfortably. Ichigo stood all alone as the car wandered off into the distance, slowly dissolving into the evening sky where the sun hung lifelessly.
