Hello everyone I'm back again to bring you all another chapter of my story; I hope you all enjoy and FYI I'm planning to write another short series like this after this one is complete. It's going to be Sasuke centered and I'm going to do make him less of a emo and more of a tragic anti-hero. With that out of the way let's begin.

Loyalty and Lies: Chapter 9

Naruto was starring at the 2 people he despised the most Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki; in his mind they were just as guilty as Hiruzen and Danzo for making his life a living hell.

"Naruto please listen to us" Minato stated "we don't want to hurt you" he said.

"That's a shame" Naruto said "because I really want to hurt you" Naruto said darkly.

"Naruto please we are your parents" Kushina begged as Naruto glared at her.

"You are not my parents" Naruto said harshly "Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha are my parents; I don't even know you 2" Naruto said. Kushina felt her heart starting to break at Naruto's words; she loved Naruto before he was even born, but his eyes and voice has no love for her and Minato.

"Naruto, please listen, this is not right; please stop think of the village and-" Minato began until Naruto began to chuckle.

"The village" Naruto said humorously "you mean the village that starved me, beat me, made me their outlet for their grief. The village means nothing to me neither does the villagers; the only things I care about is the Uchiha clan, Hinata and Hanabi and my friend Sai. Everything else does not matter" he said Minato then looked over to Jiraya.

"What is he talking about sensei" Minato asked; Jiraya walked over to Minato and Kushina and bowed his head in shame.

"Sarutobi announced Naruto as the 9 tails in hope that the village would see him as a savior and a hero; instead the village hated him and shunned him" Jiraya said, Kushina then picked him up by the throat and held him off the ground.

"Then where the fuck were you" Kushina yelled "you were his goddamn god father you should've been there" she screamed. Kushina then felt a wave of killing intent coming from Naruto whose look got even more frightening.

"You are telling me I had a god father this whole time" Naruto said through his teeth "I could've had someone to take care of me" he said as Jiraya, Minato and Kushina looked at Naruto. "You know what" Naruto said "I was planning on taking my time on killing you but now… fuck it" he said as he activated his Mangekyu sharingan 'Kamui' Naruto thought as Kushina and Jiraya were all sucked into a vortex. Minato throwing a kunai at the last moment hirashined away as both Jiraya and Kushina were teleported away.

With Kushina and Jiraya

Kushina and Jiray both got up and saw a sight that both scared and confused them; all around them was a endless void with a dark sky and rectangular structures all around them.

"Where are we" Kushina asked to which Jiraya grunted.

"Don't know, I'll reverse summon us Mount Myoboku then back to the battle" he said as he went through hand signs and slammed his hand onto the ground; but nothing happened. He tried again, then again, and again.

Jiraya now looking panicked looked over to Kushina with fear in his eyes "I can't reverse summon us" Jiraya said as Kushina also began to look scares "we're trapped" he said.

With Minato

Minato looked at the spot where Kushina and Jiraya used to be and then looked back at Naruto who was covering the eye that was on his hand "Naruto what did you do; where is Kushina and sensei" Minato demanded.

"They're in the Kamui dimension" Naruto said in a bored tone "they're stuck there unless I bring them back, but that isn't going to happen" Naruto said. Naruto then looked over to Fugaku "I'm going to handle Minato father" he said; Fugaku nodded and refocused on Orochimaru, Tsunade and Itachi.

"Very well but be quick about it" Fugaku said "I'll deal with Itachi" he said.

Fu then came forward and activated her 1 tail cloak of chakra "I'll handle " she said looking over to the female Sanin. Anko who appeared in a pile of snakes from the ground took off her trench coat and pulled out 2 ninjato's.

"I'm here for Orochimaru so stay out of my way unless you want to be next" Anko said with a wicked smile on her face.

Naruto seeing this proceeded to charge at Minato and the 2 got locked into blade-on-blade combat as the left the area.

With Mikoto

Mikoto was fighting Guy in a area away from the larger battle; both of them seemed to be at a even match. Mikoto was going all out and using her MS while guy was currently on the third gate not wanting to push it any further. Just when Mikoto was about to attack she saw a wave of sand descend onto Guy's position; guy jumping out of the way in time landed and saw the attacker, a small red-head boy.

"Mikoto Uchiha" the young boy said looking at Mikoto.

"That is me and who may you be young man" she asked and Gaara bowed.

"Subaku no Gaara; the 1 tails container" Gaara answered to which Mikoto looked surprised "I was instructed my Naruto to assist you in your battle; I hope you do not mind my intrusion" he said in his monotone voice.

Mikoto nodded "I will appreciate it; but please do not risk your life needlessly for my stake" she said to which Gaara silently nodded. Guy recovering from the attack rushed at the 2 and threw a kick at Gaara; only for his kick to be blocked by a wall of sand, Guy immediately jumped out of the way just in time as Mikoto launched a fireball.

'This is troubling' Guy thought in his mind; Mikoto Uchiha was proving to be as lethal as ever, after all she was second only to Kushina Uzumaki in terms of skill. Not to mention that Gaara being the container of the 1 tail was going to prove to be an especially challenging opponent. ' Guess I have no choice' Guy thought in his mind as he crossed his arms 'fourth gate, fifth gate, sixth gate, seventh gate… open' Guy said in his mind as he opened the gates and his power flowed out of his body. His skin turned red and his chakra was now visable for all to see.

Gaara seeing this became nervous 'I have to transform' he thought as his sand began to swirl around him; upon completion his form shifted to that of a small Shukaku. 'I hope I'm powerful enough to hold him off' Gaara thought as he got into a battle stance.

Mikoto summoned her imperfect Susanoo; it was green with a light bluish tint and used a sword just like hers. "Gaara" Mikoto spoke gaining the transformed boys attention "we need to work together; it's the only way we are going to beat him" she said; Gaara nodded.

Gaara launched a hail of sand shuriken at Guy who vanished into thin air; Gaara was then sent flying into a tree by a kick to the side courtesy of Guy. Guy then blocked a sword strike from Mikoto's Susanoo; Mikoto then punched guy with her Susanoo, guy blocked the punch with his arm. Guy was then smacked away by Gaara's tail and then blasted by a gust of wind from Gaara's mouth.

"This is going to be difficult isn't it" Gaara asked Mikoto; Guy getting out of the crater he was if popped his shoulder back into place.

"I'm afraid so" Mikoto said.

With Sai

Sai dodged another slash from Asuma's trench knife; and countered with a slash from his tanto that nicked the jounin in his flak jacket. Sai arrived a few minutes ago and is assisting Izumi as Shibi lost most of his hive and had no choice but to withdraw.

Asuma quickly went through hand signs 'fire style: burning ash' he then spewed a thick black smoke from his mouth; he then clicked his teeth together causing a spark which ignited the smoke and caused a large explosion.

Asuma then saw Sai exit the inferno with a burn on his left arm; Izumi then landed next to Sai.

"Are you ok your arm is it…" Izumi said and Sai shook his head.

"It'll be fine once the battle is over" Sai said he then saw Asuma taking a defensive stance "Izumi we need to do 'the routine'" Sai said cryptically. Izumi nodded and readied her sword.

"Let's do this" Izumi said. Sai using his mouth to hold his tanto rolled out his scroll and drew 2 ink lions that charged Asuma. Asuma using his trench knives destroyed the lions, only to realize that Sai and Izumi were charging at him; Sai and Izumi both went through slashing motions. Asuma using his right hand blocked Sai's tanto, he waited for the feeling of contact on his left hand but he never felt it; Izumi doing a flip went over Asuma in a somersault landing behind him. Izumi then stabbed Asuma through the back with her Katana piercing through the front of his chest.

Asuma coughed out blood and as Izumi pulled out her sword fell to the ground; Asuma clutched his chest as he looked up to the sky. Asuma then saw a face he never thought he'd see again; his mother.

"You fought well son" Biwako said.

"M-mom I- "Asuma said as he reached out and grabbed her hand.

"Shhh… It's ok son. Come with me, your father and brother are waiting for you" she said. Asuma let out a few tears before he coughed once more, blood spilling out of his mouth. Asuma shuttered and felt his body go cold as his vision turned to black.

Izumi was holding Asuma's hand as she saw the light leave his eyes 'he imagined seeing his mother before he died' she thought. She then pried his hand off hers and she placed both his hands on his chest folding them and closing his eyes; she then put both her hands together and closed her eyes 'rest in peace Asuma Sarutobi' she silently prayed.

"Izumi" Sai said gaining the girls attention "the enemy forces are retreating should we pursue" Sai asked.

"No" Izumi said "let them run; lets gather up the dead and wounded and regroup. Also lets get your arm checked" she said; as she was about to leave she then saw the 2 trench knives that Asuma was using and picked them up. 'I will ensure someone worthy wields these blades' she promised silently as she and Sai left the area leaving a peaceful looking Asuma laying in the grass.

With Mikoto and Gaara

Gaara once again was hit by Guy this time with enough force to make his sand transformation break off; Guy then dodged a slash from Mikoto's sword. Mikoto was no longer using her Susanoo as it was too taxing; however Guy was slowing down as his gates were now wearing off due t the time limit almost being up.

Gaara struck at guy once more only to be kicked up in the air by the green clad man; guy kept kicking, kicking and kicking until he was high enough in the air to where he wrapped his bandages around Gaara and began spinning towards the ground at a fast velocity. 'Primary Lotis' Guy then drove Gaara into the ground the sand around the boy falling to the wayside as he laid there motionless.

Mikoto seeing this looked at Guy "Guy" she shouted gaining the mans attention "lets end this" she said getting into a low slash stance; Guy feeling his body about to give out decided to try and finish this with one last strike. For a second the world stood still for the 2 combatants; Guy and Mikoto in a burst of speed began to run at each other.

Guy was approaching Mikoto ready to strike down the Uchiha matriarch; until he stopped in place and nearly lost his balance. He looked down and saw that his feet were being held down by sand.

Gaara fighting against the pain was using his last bit of strength to use his sand to hold Guy in place 'Finish him ' Gaara thought. Mikoto capitalizing on the opportunity sliced off Guy's head with a swift stroke of her sword; Guy's headless body fell to the ground as Gaara released his grip on the dead man's feet. Mikoto rushed over to Gaara and leaned over him.

"Gaara are you ok? How bad are you hurting" she asked in a hurry; Gaara winced as he looked at her.

"I have never been in pain before; so I have no frame of reference" Gaara said hoarsely "but I cannot move my body and my vision is blurry" he said. Mikoto then touched his cheek and let out a tear.

"Don't worry sweety" Mikoto said "I'll get you to the hospital you will be fine"; Mikoto and Gaara then disappeared in a swirl of leaves leaving the sandy, scarred battle field behind.

With Anko

Anko and Orochimaru were in a blade on blade battle as the 2 were evenly matched; "not so strong without your little curse mark fucking with me are ya" Anko taunted as she kicked Orochimaru in the stomach knocking him away.

'This is bad' Orochimaru thought 'she has gotten a lot better since I left Konoha; and with the amount of Chakra I'm pumping into the edo tensei I don't think I can do this without back up" Orochimaru thought as he went forward with his Kusanagi and slashed at Anko who ducked under and slashed at Orochimaru's legs scoring a hit.

"Damn it" Orochimaru yelled as he slashed at Anko who then jumped out of the way; Orochimaru then felt his leg start to burn and looked down. The veins on his leg were turning a sickly purple color as the blood pouring out of his wound began to coagulate quickly.

"You like that Orochimaru Sensei" Anko said mockingly to Orochimaru "It's a special blend of poison from the late Torune Aburame; he may have been a bastard for working with Danzo but he sure knew how to poison people. By the way it attacks your chakra network so that means no more shedding your skin" Anko said getting back into a stance ready to do battle once more.

"Insolent child" Orochimaru seethed "I'll kill you and use your skeleton for a model" he shouted as he rushed at Anko once more and locked blades with her.

With Fu

Tsunade was out of her element, same as would anyone else be against the 7 tails container; Fu was currently flying above Tsunade shooting webs at her. Tsunade was known for her super strength punches but how the hell was she supposed to hit someone so high off the ground.

"Fuck this" Tsunade said as she grabbed a tree and ripped it out of the ground; she then proceeded to throw it at Fu who using aerial acrobatics narrowly dodged it.

"Are you crazy" Fu yelled at Tsunade "you could've killed me" she yelled; Tsunade then looked at her with a tick mark on her forehead.

"We're shinobi; we're supposed to kill each other" Tsunade yelled back.

"But I'm not trying to kill you" Fu shouted "I'm just trying to wound, maim, or restrain you" she said. Tsunade looked at her confused.

"Why the hell are you doing that" she asked.

"I don't want to kill anybody; I never wanted to kill anybody. I never wanted to be a shinobi; I just want to be a normal girl. And you're not a bad person; you don't want to be here either, so I'm not going to kill you. You're just as much of a victim as I am" Fu shouted. Tsunade looked at the flying girl for a moment and let down her guard; the only reason she was here was because Jiraya threatened to kill her.

Tsunade looked up at Fu and let out a sigh; she had nothing to gain from this battle, from what Naruto and Jiraya said about the village, they brought this upon themselves. "I give up" Tsunade said as she looked at Fu; Fu being shocked by this questioned it for a minute until she decided to do something.

"I'm going to tie you up with my web" Fu said "once the battle is over I will cut you loose" she said; Tsunade nodded her head.

"Ok fine" Tsunade said; Fu then spewed out a web that wrapped around Tsunade's wrists and ankles. Tsunade then sat down on the ground and Fu landed a few feet away.

"The web is going to be like a chakra restraining tag" Fu said "so there's no use in trying to fight it" she said as she sat down next to Tsunade.

Tsunade sighed and looked up at the sky "I need a drink after this" she said and Fu looked at her.

"Drinking is bad for you" Fu said and Tsunade chuckled.

"One day you'll find out the wonders of Saki" Tsunade said as she turned to look at Fu "but in the mean time lets have some girl talk" she said as Fu nodded.

"Ok sure that sounds great" she chirped.

"So do you think that Naruto boy is cute or no" Tsunade asked as Fu blushed and looked away "I think that is a yes" Tsunade said teasingly as Fu blushed harder.

With Fugaku

Fugaku and Itachi were exchanging punches; both Uchiha had used up their Susanoo's and are resorting to more traditional combat. Itachi's sword broke and he had no choice but to discard it; Fugaku being more comfortable using his fists over a kunai which was proving to be very effective.

Fugaku caught Itachi's fist and countered by a kick to the ribs which forced Itachi's air out; Fugaku then grabbed Itachi's arm and doing a judo throw threw Itachi to the ground. Fugaku then decided to follow up by grabbing the arm and snapping it at the elbow; Itachi screamed in pain as Fugaku let go and walked away slowly.

"You are a fool for fighting me Itachi" Fugaku said to his former son "I taught you nearly everything you knew" Itachi holding his broken arm stood up and glared at his father.

"You are the one who's the fool father" Itachi said through the pain "you and the Uchiha Clan are delusional; you cannot gain peace through deceit" Itachi said. Fugaku shook his head, in a burst of speed he then appeared in front of Itachi and kicked him on his injured arm.

"That's how all this started Itachi" Fugaku said as Itachi was once again on the ground in pain "the Uchiha believed Hashirama's lies and what are we rewarded with being hated, discarded and scapegoated. You and Shisui were going to kill your own clan because of your loyalty to a village that see you and your brethren as traitors and monsters; Loyalty and Lies, 2 things that go in hand to control naïve fools like you" Fugaku said with a disappointed look on his face.

Itachi recovering got up once more "Naruto is different Itachi" Fugaku continued "I never lied to him nor him to me. Hiruzen, Jiraya and the village abandoned him left him to defend for himself against the world; I told him the truth and I was rewarded by an apprentice, a confidant and a son. He dedicated his life to ensure the future of the Uchiha clan; he's more of a Uchiha than you ever were or ever could be" Fugaku said.

Itachi pulled out a Kunai and got back into a stance "I will stop you father" Itachi said; he then got punched, disarmed of his kunai and thrown into a tree.

"I'm ready whenever you are" Fugaku yelled as he walked to Itachi.

With Naruto

Naruto slashed at Minato with his sword narrowly missing him; Minato then charged up a rasengan and attempted to hit Naruto. Naruto barely dodged with the rasengan nicking his ribs causing a small burn; Naruto gained some distance and went through hand signs 'Combination Jutsu: Napalm Firestorm' Naruto then spit out a stream of napalm at Minato. The next instant he fired a small fireball igniting the gel; the effect was almost instant as the entire area was engulfed in flames.

Naruto caught a Kunai coming at his face and the next moment kicked Minato with a round house sending the reincarnated Hokage into a tree. "You have to do better than that Minato" Naruto said while destroying the Kunai he was holding "my father told me about his spars with you; you can only hirashian to the marker on your kunai's. I just need to use my sharingan and time it just right and bam… you're on your ass" he said.

Minato got up his face reconstructing itself "I will admit to you Naruto you are very strong for your age" he said "you're not Kage level in power but you are in strategy; I can over power you but you can just counter. You would've made a fine Hokage when you were older" he said.

"I fought and killed many skilled shinobi; Danzo Shimura, Shisui Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake and many others during my training. And for your information, I do intend to become Hokage after my father steps down; that will be my ultimate revenge on the village. The hated demon vessel ruling over the village that once shunned him; it will at least give me a little satisfaction" Naruto said. Minato looked at Naruto wide eyed; he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"You killed Kakashi; my former student! How could you" Minato yelled in rage. Naruto looked at Minato and chuckled.

"That's not all Minato" Naruto said "you probably should also know, the one who unleashed the Kyuubi on the village the day I was born; was none other that your 'dead' student Obito" Naruto said. Minato's anger was then replaced by shock and disbelief "poor Minato; one student died in the line of duty, one died by the hand of your son and one died by the hand of my father. Your legacy is all but gone now Minato; you got no living students, no living family and no son. Once you are gone and forgotten no one is going to mourn you" Naruto said.

Naruto's words hit Minato like a ton of bricks; Naruto for all intents and purposes was right. He was responsible for Obito and Obito was the one who unleashed the Kyuubi. He was the one who sealed the Kyuubi into Naruto; in turn cursing him with a life of abuse and isolation. Now Naruto was responsible for bringing down the village Minato was trying to protect; his legacy is that of good intentions and hellish consequences.

"I'm sorry Naruto" Minato said looking at his scowling son "I'm sorry for everything, I…I… Just end it. I just hope you can forgive me one day; and we can meet again in the afterlife and reconcile" Minato said. Naruto's face softened up; Naruto went through hand signs 'Combination Style: Fire Fox incineration' Naruto then blew a stream of golden flames at Minato who just stood still.

Minato was engulfed in flames as his body was burning away; Minato in a final gesture threw 6 of his pronged Kunai's at Naruto's feet "Naruto look at my hands" Minato said. Naruto looked at Minato quickly go through hand signs; Naruto using his sharingan saw every sign perfectly until Minato was finished.

"Those were the hand signs for my version of the Hirashin" Minato said softly "I hope you decide to use it even if it's in spite of me. I hope this can begin to let you know how sorry I am" Minato said. Naruto looked back at Minato as he was nearly done burning.

"It may take me years, maybe my whole life" Naruto began "but maybe just maybe I can one day forgive you; but until then I will despise you. But only time can tell" Naruto said. Minato using his last few seconds on earth decided to speak one last time.

"Goodbye Naruto" Minato said as his body was now destroyed and his soul vanished. Naruto picked up the 6 Kunai left by Minato and put them in his pouch.

"I guess that jutsu can be helpful later on" Naruto said; Naruto then vanished in a swirl of leaves.

With Kushina and Jiraya

Kushina and Jiraya were running through the void they were in trying to find a way our; Kushina was running until she felt a hand touch her shoulder. Kushina then stopped which in turn made Jiraya stop and look at her.

"Kushina what's wrong" Jiraya asked; he then saw Kushina turn to him with tears rolling down her cheeks as she looked at Jiraya and spoke with a hollow voice.

"Minato is dead again" Kushina said as Jiraya looked saddened "he failed to stop Naruto, I can feel it. My son just killed his own father" Kushina said as she sat down.

"I'm sorry Kushina" Jiraya said sitting down next to her "if I knew what was going to happen I would've been there, I would've raised him. Instead, I ran away like a coward" Jiraya said.

"This is our punishment Jiraya" Kushina said "Naruto, the village, us being here; this is all our sins catching up with us" Kushina said.

Kushina and Jiraya sat in the empty void unable to stop or assist in the battle that decided the future of Konoha and Naruto.

Ok another chapter down. I'm a firm believer in the quote "the road to hell is paved with good intentions"; Minato sealed the 9 tails into Naruto for the good of the village, Hiruzen kept the truth from Naruto for his own protection. And in the end, those came back and bit them in the ass. Naruto in this chapter while filled with hate and resentment is not a monster, he has compassion he has forgiveness he may have killed Hiruzen but deep down he still cared a little. Even with all his hate and resentment for Minato he still can't completely hate him; it's a lot like a abusive parent, you absolutely fucking hate them but there is still that small part that lives in your heart. Trust me on that; I know. Ok then with nothing else please like and review and until next time bye.
