The Leopard Queen..
Danica Shardae, Tuuli Thea to the avians and Arami to the serpiente and the avians walked to the balcony of her bedroom. She placed her hands among the railing and stared into the suns ray's casting shafts of light on the treetops and forest.
She jumped over the railing and free fell. In mid-air she turned into a golden light and a hawk swooped over the trees and rode an air current upward into the skies.
She and always felt free in this form, to unleash her wings upon the clouds and be who she should be. A Golden Hawk. Brown and golden plumage. Golden Eyes that show fierceness and royalty. She descended and landed on the Serengeti, the plains in the great rift valley.
She had tracked a spotted leopard. She took human form dropping to the ground. The Leopard turned and Danica met it's pearly white gaze, metallic eye's of the Ashanti', a clan of leopard shape shifters of the cult of Dios.
They worshipped Aska, the white leopard. Albino leopards were rare even to the touch. But the royal family of the Dios were the exact ones. The secluded themselves from society, much like the wolves. The magic was unpredictable. They could perform feats stronger than the falcons themselves.
She chased the leopard and finally it stopped in a clearing. In the mist of the bushes, she was confronted by two others. One had blue eyes, and the other red yellowish. They all took human shape at the same time and bared their fangs.
"No Harm." she touched her two fingers to her lips and then down to her neck. It was the Ashanti's way of respect. They bowed and cut her of before she could act."We mean you no harm as well. We were heading to your lands actually"
"Why?" Danica asked. She knew the were powerful so why would they need help?
"The Queen. She's been assassinated." That was the last thing that left his mouth. He closed his eye's and grieved.
She Thought..."Then we must summon her..." she said dryly, her throat closing, no trying to not speak.
"Who.." the second soldier said.
"Her..." all she did was look at him one time for him to see the full picture.
They had to summon the queen...of cats..
