The X-men rescue Beast, Evan, Logan and Blob, but Rogue gets left behind and becomes Trask’s mutant guinea pig. Trask hasn’t been caught in creating the Sentinel’s so he makes more to go after mutants while Rogue is being broken down at his lab. Feeling like the X-men abandoned her and all hope is lost, a familiar face comes to her rescue.
