Yes I know, three updates in one day. Don't you feel special?
People think ANBU is just made up of elite Junin.
It's not.
This is because several Chuunin work in infiltration, and gather information unobtrusively. They're still ANBU.
People think ANBU only take on A- or S- classed missions.
It doesn't.
This is because even ANBU need training.
People think ANBU members all know each others identity.
They don't.
This is because if an ANBU is captured, they can't name everyone. ANBU is a practical organisation, but more importantly it's realistic. They know missions go bad. ANBU missions just go bad worse, and more frequently.
People think ANBU is all fun and games, thrilling chases and awesome fights.
It isn't.
This is because ANBU is spilt blood and guts, long nights and questionable activities so when a shinobi breaks no-one quite understands.
People think ANBU service is an honour.
This is not true.
This is because it's not optional. Shinobi are told ANBU wants them, and that's it. Once they sign that contract, they can't leave.
