"Rachel, I'm… I don't want to do this." Quinn was sitting in the passenger seat of Rachel's car, her skin a very pale white. "I can't."
Rachel reached out and grabbed the hand of the girl sitting next to her. "Of course you can," she said, flashing the blonde one of her bright smiles. "I'm right here. It'll be okay."
Quinn bit her lip and looked up at Rachel. "Rachel, I'm scared. What if they don't like me? I used… I used to be horrible to you. I made fun of you, called you names, made your life a living hell…" Quinn's eyes began shimmering with tears. "I hurt you, Rach. What if they can't forgive me for that? I know… I can't forgive myself for it."
"But I forgive you for it, Quinn. I figure now that it was all some form of defense mechanism you used to hide your feelings from not only me, but yourself as well. You were confused and couldn't accept yourself. But I sincerely hope you accept yourself now, because I know I do. And I know my dads will, too." Rachel smiled and leaned forward to place a soft kiss on Quinn's lips.
Quinn smiled hesitantly. "All right, let's go." She slipped out of the car and walked around to help Rachel out. Together, they walked hand-in-hand towards Rachel's house, prepared to finally tell Rachel's dads about their relationship.
