I thought you were worth everything. All the times they warned me against you, my family, my friends. I left them all behind. For you. This was supposed to be a fairytale. My fairytale, my romantic daydreams come true.
It was more of a tragedy. You are my tragedy. My downfall.
And I'm broken and hurt and scared inside, but I'm walking away this time, for good, with my head held high (even if my dignity is in shattered pieces on the floor). And don't come running after me, because darling, your desperation isn't attractive.
And I won't be made a fool of.
All your broken promises, all the times you let me down without a second thought. You never gave a damn about me. You only proved that everybody else was right. You never had a heart, you only had a reputation. A filthy, cruel reputation that thrived on lies. So well done, congratulations – they were right about you. You don't know what love is.
Don't call this love.
You swore you'd take care of me, swore you'd never let anything hurt me.
You lied.
