A/N: I'm sorry about the length of the last chapter. I was in a hurry to get it done, and didn't think about the words. This one is longer, and hopefully better than the last. Enjoy! :D

I grabbed a seat in between Kerrith and Maxine. Max smirked. I stuck out my tongue playfully. Kerrith smiled and nervously tapped her wand against the desk. "Liz has a boyfriend," I whispered. Max grinned deviously. "Who? What's his name?"

"Some bloke by the name of Leo Valdez. Heard of him?"

"He's probably a fifth or sixth year." Kerrith whispered.

"Attention students!" A very small man stood atop a tall stack if books. His high, squeaky voice caught my attention. Max stifled a round of giggles and Kerry smirked. I realized at once that this was Professor Flitwick. I elbowed my friends and shushed them. Kerry stuck out her tongue.

"Welcome, students, to Hogwarts! I am Professor Flitwick, the Charms master and Head of Ravenclaw House."

The students in blue squirmed in their seats while the ones in yellow snickered. Professor Flitwick scowled. He placed his wand to his throat. "Quiet!" He nodded. "Good. Now, do you all have your wands?"

I waved mine in the air, and was surprised when blue and gold sparks flew out of the tip. Blue, obviously, was for Ravenclaw. But the gold? That could only mean Gryffindor. What was going on?

"Rain, I want to make an alliance."

"It's a bit late for that, Malfoy."

"Nothing is too late, Victoria."

I snorted. "Draco Malfoy, you don't want to make an alliance with a Ravenclaw."

"And why's that?" His perfect little eyebrows raised a tiny bit.

"You don't want your perfect little reputation as a pureblood snob ruined. I'm a muggle-born; a mudblood. Your status is withering as we speak."

He scowled. "You'll regret this, Rain. You will seriously regret this conversation."

I smiled sweetly. "Oh, no, Draco, I won't regret it. You will." I walked back over to Kerry and Max. As soon as I sat down, they threw all kinds of questions at me.

"What did he want to talk about?"

"Why is he glaring at you?"

"Is he as snotty as I've heard?"

"He's kinda cute, you know."

I pushed Kerry off the bench.

"Ergh, Kerry, that's gross!"

"Just saying,"

"Yeah, well, can you keep those comments to yourself?" Max said, gagging. "Not all of us enjoy talking about how cute guys are."

"Except for a certain Gryffindor Keeper." I grinned. "You really enjoy talking about that one."

Max blushed. "Shut up, Tori!"

"Max likes Oliver Wood?!" Kerry shrieked.

Max lunged at Kerry, stuffing Kerry's mouth with her robe. "Shut up, Kerrith." Max hissed. "I don't want my private life being broadcasted around the school."

"Mmf-ff,"

"Max, let her up, she can't breathe!"

Kerry gasped, rubbing her throat. "Wow Max, what a great friend you are."

"Sorry," Max muttered. "Didn't mean to overreact."

I pulled on my friend's arms. "C'mon, we were supposed to meet Harry, Ron, Seamus and Dean in the courtyard five minutes ago."

"Speaking of Gryffindors," Max started slyly. "You got an eye for the Potter boy, don't you?"

"Don't be daft." I blushed. "He's only a friend."

"I have two older sisters, Tori. I know what it looks like, and you've got it."

"Besides, Max, I'm only eleven. It's not like we're going to get married or something."

"Just you wait, Victoria Rain, just you wait."

"Race you to the Great Hall!" Ron shouted.

I grinned. "You're going down, Weasley!"

"Alright, Rain, if you beat me, I'll stop copying your homework."

"You've been copying my homework?"

"Um, I mean," he gulped, "I won't keep pestering you to let me copy your homework?"

"Much better. Although I very much doubt that will actually happen."

"Hey!" Ron protested. "I can change, honestly!"

"If you say so."

"So if you beat me-"

"Nope, I get to chose this! If I win, you have to sit Raven House table for a month."

"And if I best you, you have to help me with my homework."

"I already do that!"

"Then...Harry, any good ideas?"

Harry grinned, his glasses sliding down the bridge of his nose. "If Ron wins, Tori has to switch to Gryffindor for a month."

"But I still get to eat with my House."

"Right. It's just the classes you switch."

"Who's switching what?"

"Tori's gonna switch to Gryffindor for a month."

"Ron's gonna be eating with Ravenclaw for a month."

"No, cause I'm going to win."

"In your dreams, Weasley."

"Same to you, Rain."

"You two are acting like a married couple already."

"I'm not marrying him!"

"I'm not marrying her!"

Sage looked at us skeptically. "Okay then. Shall I get Fred and George?"

"No need-"

"We're here. What's going on?"

"Tori and Ron are going to race to the Great Hall. If Ron wins-"

"Totally unlikely. Tori'll win for sure." Fred snickered.

"Be nice. 'S not my fault my sister has been training me to run since I was two."

"Let's get this over with." Ron grumbled. "We know the stakes. Dean is waiting at the doors."

I grinned. "If I do win, Ron, you'll still be my best mate."

"I thought I was your best mate." Sage pouted.

"Ron's my best guy mate." I corrected. "But I'm still going to win."

"There's only one way to know." Ron grinned.

"Ready-"

"Set-"

"Go!" Sage shouted, jumping up and down.

The next chapter will be up late. Putting that ahead beforehand, so y'all won't be surprised when chapter seven is out, like, March.

Love ya!
