A/N: The long-awaited chapter five! Typing this out on my phone, terribly sorry for any mess-ups!
The brothers lay beside each other, both asleep peacefully, only Chris was shivering with cold sweat dripping down his face and from his drooping brown hair.
Outside, something growled angrily and took hold of the small barred window up near the ceiling, black fur and long claws tinkling against the frigid metal. With a roar, it ripped the window out of the concrete wall, startling Martin awake and he gripped Chris tighter in his arms. Now, where the window had been, there was a large gaping hole, which Martin judged might be big enough to fit Chris through, and perhaps himself, as well. As for who had broken them out, he hadn't the time to find out or dwell on it. "Chris, bro, wake up." He shook his younger brother awake.
"Nnuhh..." Chris blearly lifted his pink lids with a groan. "I don't f-feel so great, dude... I think I'm sick..."
"No, come on, we gotta get out of here. Just hold on a little longer, OK?" Martin kissed his blazing forehead and helped him to his feet. Unsteadily, Chris was boosted up to the hole, which he gripped and frowned.
"Who busted... busted us out?" He asked.
"Don't got time for that now, Chris."
"Righ... right."
Chris pushed himself through the wall into the chill early morning air, the wind blowing the smaller Kratt back onto the dewed grass when he'd tried to stand. Not long after, Martin came front-flipping through and onto the ground. "Sh-show o-o-off," the brunet whispered shakily; he was shivering so badly that he could hardly laughed uneasily. "Come on, let's get you out of the wind-"
Before he could finish his sentence, thunder crashed above them, and the darkened clouds began to pour down large droplets of rain in a flashing gale. "Dammit. Come on." The elder Kratt wrapped his brother in a tight embrace and ran with him deep into the forest.
Aviva woke to the sound of the intruder alarm going off. It blared brilliantly and gave her half-asleep brain a marvelous headache. Grumbling, she got up and ran to the computer, fingers flying across the buttons to pull up a map of the Tortuga HQ and where the intrusion had taken place.
A window by Jimmy's station was open. "Damn Jimmy," she laughed. For a minute, she thought someone had broken in. After resetting the alarm, she went over to the indeed open window and closed and locked it. Yawning, she shuffled sleepily back to her hammock. In the back of her mind, a feeling gnawed at her that she was being followed.
Brothers Kratt found an old wolf den in a thicklet of trees that contained enough twigs and dry bush to start a small fire. Martin got that going in the driest part of the den and helped Chris beside it, settling in next to him with a lean arm around his weak shoulders. "Thanks, M-Martin." He thanked his brother with a chilled kiss to his neck.
Martin chuckled, returning the kiss to the top of his head. "Welcome, bro."
As the fire cast an orange glow over the two brothers, Chris took the opportunity to admire his elder; since they were both only wearing boxer shorts, he could see most everything, like the hard stomach covered in the occasional scar and bruise, the lean runner's legs, the broad chest just barely dusted with hair, the honey blond hair that had grown shaggy and fell in the kind, sun-tanned face that he had looked upon since the day he was born and planned on looking at until the day they both died. And then there was the blue eyes, those powder blue, smiling eyes that stared at him with so much love and concern-
He realised that Martin had caught him staring and blushed, lowering his face to the fire. "Sorry," he mumbled, tracing a circle on the elder's navel.
A tingly sensation shot through the area and down, causing Martin to shift a leg. "It's alright, Chris. Not like I don't do the same." He told him. The hand he had on Chris' hip began to move up and down his side slowly. The younger didn't respond, merely swirling the circle he had traced with his finger up to Martin's chest and around before travelling back down, down-
Martin jumped, his hand slipping below Chris' waistband. "Shit! Chris, do you think you're well enough f-for-" A hand wrapping around his slowly hardening dick under his boxers gave him the answer. "Ffffuuuuck."
Chris licked his lips, brows slightly furrowed. He'd been wanting to do this for the longest time, but now that he was, he had no idea what he was doing. Having had no prior experience on either gender or on himself, he was clueless. Whatever he was doing, Martin seemed to like it, so he just kept stroking. Martin responded by lifting his hips and groaning, eyes half lidded and mouth agape. "Chr-Chris... oh my God." His hand rubbed over the side of his younger brother's behind as the pleasure built in his abdomen. It'd been so long since anyone excluding himself had done this, and since the person he'd been in love with for so long was finally with him and jerking him off he was definitely not going to last long.
As for his brother, Chris was starting to get the hang of it; pressing his thumb against the slit, spreading the bead of pre-cum around the head and tightening his grip on the upward strokes seemed to be the right combination to punch cries and moans from his blond elder. A hand fell onto his head and tightened in his hair. He clenched the hand around Martin tightly when a flashback of Mordecai doing the very same to him when he'd... he'd...
He hadn't even realised that Martin had come with a cry of his name until his hand was being pulled from the blue boxers. "Are you OK, Chris?" Martin asked when he saw the wide-eyed expression on his younger brother's face.
"I uh-yeah! Just..." a masking smile broke out onto his face and he gestured to the tent in his boxers. "Wasn't expecting this."
Mischeviously, Martin grinned. "I can take care of that."
Now Chris smiled genuinely as they kissed.
Outside, a dark figure ran off.
Something crashed in the far right corner of the main control room, awakening Koki from her crying-induced sleep. Jimmy lay beside her, and Aviva was above her, so it wasn't either of them. And since the alarm hadn't gone off, it had to be something-or someone-who had already been inside. Either that or the alarm was broken. Taking up the flashlight she kept beside her, she shined it on where she'd heard the noise and laughed silently. One of Aviva's creature power disc canisters had fallen. No intruder. Sighing, she turned off the torch and placed it back beside her, wrapping her arm tighter around Jimmy and closing her eyes with a smile. This was the last chance she would likely ever get to be with the pilot this way, and she wasn't going to miss her chance. Even though Jimmy liked Martin, he still obviously cared for her, and had shown this when he'd come to her earlier when she'd been crying over the fact that the only man she'd ever loved was gay. Or bisexual. He'd come to her and comforted her and let her punch and hit him with her fists before lying with her in her hammock and falling asleep with his arms around her.
At the memory, she smiled, and allowed her mind to slip away.
A/N: Finally! Just two more chapters and I'll be done with this. It honestly shouldn't have taken me this long to finish, but I was going through some addiction issues and... obviously I've relapsed. But I'm trying! Next chapter up soon!
