Chapter six! And yes, it is short.

Goshikku Hume wa Yami-san: I wish you luck if you really want to read my other fics. The BB Terra one is pretty long.

QUESTION: I'm thinking of restarting my BB Terra fic (A New Beginning). I'll either re-open it or start a new BBT drabble/fluff fic. What do you guys think? It won't start until this one is over, and I think I'll be done in one or two more chapters.

DISCLAIMER: Nope.

If there was one thing I learned from all my years as a villainess (a bad-ass one if I do say so myself), it was that evil never takes a break. I mean, evil does play videogames and watch television, but if evil wants something, you'd better be sure evil's going to get it.

And so it did.

The peace we experienced in Wally's apartment lasted only two days after we had destroyed the communicator. We had been somewhat on ease those two days, having not received any threatening messages. Of course we couldn't have, seeing as the communicator was crushed and at the bottom of an ocean, but it made us feel better nonetheless. But day is always ended with night; peace is always disrupted by chaos.

I lay with Wally in bed one night (or early morning, depending how you look at it), sleeping warm and comfortable under the blankets and wrapped in his arms. I was somewhere in between sleeping and waking, in that quiet sense of mind where nothing really exists and everything is fuzzy.

Then, clear as day, glass shattered from the living room.

I sat up in bed, the sheets falling around my waist. In the blink of an eye, Wally was up as well, and began putting on his Kid Flash costume.

"Wally? What the hell?" I asked, watching him wiggle a leg into the spandex.

He looked at me as he tugged the uniform around his wiry yet muscular body. "It could be villains, Jinx. I can't be Wally West."

I shrugged. It made sense. At least I didn't have anything to worry about; I was always Jinx. 24/7.

"Okay," he said. "You want to come with? Or are you just going to stay here?"

I snorted in contempt. "Of course I want to come with. This is my house too."

"Oh really?" he smiled, pulling down his mask.

"Yes really."

Loud thuds sounded from the living room, and Wally –now Kid Flash- looked over at me, his hand extended.

"Let's go."

But we didn't get the chance to even make it out of the bedroom. The door opened before we reached it, and a shadowy figure quickly slipped in and closed it behind them, pressing against it.

"Don't say a word," a male's voice spoke out before we had a chance to react.

"See-More?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper.

"See-More?" Kid Flash hissed, though he kept his voice down.

"Listen, I don't have a lot of time," he whispered, his one huge eye darting around. "They're here, Jinx. You can run if you want; I'll create a cover so the two of you can escape."

Kid Flash growled, instinctively stepping in front of me. "What makes you think we want to run? We'd much rather end this once and for all, if you don't mind."

See-More shook his head, obviously frustrated. "If you want to destroy them, that's fine with me. I'm not with them anymore."

"Then why are you here?" Kid asked, still angry.

See-More sighed, and glanced my way. "I've been pretending to agree with them sense you left, Jinx. But Gizmo took over, and just… things are different now. He's not just some little kid; he's so much darker. He's gone power hungry, and I want out."

I stepped out from behind Kid Flash, trying to look somewhat menacing in my spaghetti-strap tank top and racer shorts. Not to mention that my 'horns' weren't in, and I was barefoot, leaving me a good five to six inches shorter.

"What do you want form us?" I asked, placing a hand on my hip.

More thuds came from the living room, and glass shattered once again.

See-More stared at me, his one eye imploring for mercy. "I want a way out. I can't go against them myself, Jinx. Even you didn't. You just left."

"Are you calling me a coward?" I said as loudly as I could without drawing attention from the thieves in the living room.

See-More shrank back a little against the door, no doubt remembering what I was capable of. "I'm not calling you anything. But you know you didn't have to fight them when you left. I will."

I shook my head. "See-More, I didn't have to fight them then because that fight is happening now. I didn't 'skip' that fight. It's just happening later."

"So what are we supposed to do?" Kid Flash asked, obviously still wary of the direction things were heading in.

I turned to face him, and took his hand in mine. See-More glanced down at our intertwined fingers, though he must have known we were an 'item'. After all, he had barged into our bedroom.

"Easy," I said. "We go out there and fight."
