"Flat tire!" Patty yelled and stepped on the back of Soul's boot. He nearly fell on his face. Maka giggled into her hand when Soul glared at Patty.
"Flat tire!" She yelled again and this time stepped on Black*Star's boot. He fell forward onto his face.
"Why you little-!" Black*Star chased after Patty who just giggled madly. Liz sighed, exasperated. Tsubaki made sure Black*Star didn't wear himself out before they got home. Maka adjusted the headband on her head.
"Grrrrr. Soul! How do you even wear this thing?!" She asked trying to keep it above her eyes. He turned to her and rolled his eyes.
"How do you were this neck death trap?" He asked, pulling the tie.
Tsubaki sweatdropped as they got into another argument about how the other dressed. She wasn't very thrilled either to be in a Black*Star costume but she didn't want to be bothersome. His shoes were pretty heavy on her feet, not something an assassin should wear, and she could tell she was gonna need a bubble bath today. She turned to Kid and saw he was watching Patty run from Black*Star with Liz. She was surprised how easily they were able to slip into the others clothes. Liz looked amazing in Kid's suit. Though it did contrast with her brown hair. Kid's cowboy style clothes were a bit uncomfortable on him, as he said before they left the sweater was "itchier than hay" and he had to resist scratching at it. The hat on his head was actually Liz's, she had let him use it, and it was constantly falling off his head. Tsubaki sighed contently as Black*Star finally caught Patty but Liz stopped him before he could actually get his revenge.
Blair waited patiently by the door that led outside. She hadn't been able to see Maka or Soul for 2 days! She really missed them, or more accurately, missed pouncing on Soul to make him bleed. Her shifts at Chupa Cabra's have been back to back and although she was tired, she still had enough energy to pounce on Soul. She looked to the time.
"Four o'two." She whispered. If she had calculated this correctly, they would be here in exactly two minutes. She couldn't help but snicker into her paw as she imagined Soul's red face and Maka's furrowed brows. Boy were they in for a surprise! The knob began to turn and she could hear keys jingling against the lock. She smirked as the knob turned. She waited just half a second before seeing Soul's black and yellow jacket.
"Soul-y!" She yelled and poofed to her human form before forcing his head to her chest. He wiggled more than usual and tried to pull himself free. She tightened her grip and turned her head to Maka. Or who was supposed to be Maka.
Instead of seeing the raging teen that was Maka, she saw Soul instead. He was wearing Maka's clothes, even her ribbons on his wrist! His jaw was slacking and his eyes were wide. He looked on the verge of running for his life but clearly had no idea what to do. She looked down to th child in her arms and saw dirty blonde hair. Her loud yells and cries were muffled by her boobs. She loosened her grip a tiny bit and Maka pushed herself back. She took big gulps of air then glared at the cat.
"BLAIR." She yelled.
"Oops!" She said and took a step back. "Sorry about that Maka-Chan! I thought you were Soul!"
"Maka-CHOP!" Blair held her head as it ached. Soul was almost certain he could see a dent.
"Ooooooooow!" Blair howled. Maka still held her book up in the air, ready to give another chop if she made a comment.
"Why are guys wearing each others clothes? Blair doesn't understand." She whined, still holding her head. Soul shook his head and relaxed.
"Stein caught us talking in class and this is our punishment." Soul said. Blair shrugged then poofed into a cat.
"Blair is gonna go lay down now." She said and trotted away slowly.
"I think you gave her a concussion." Soul said to Maka. She scoffed then walked to the kitchen.
"She'll survive." She brushed it off and Soul shook his head. He gave one last check to Blair to make sure she was fine before going to his room to change.
"Kid!" Liz called on the others side of a door. She knocked on it. "Patti got into your cookies again. Help me get her down!"
"Can't you get her down?" He called back. He was busy doing some regular soul research.
"She's way to hyper! Just come out! Bring your swimming trunks!"
"I'm on it." He had absolutely no idea why she needed his swimming trunks. But after living with the twins for a while he's learned to trust Liz's judgement when it comes to getting Patty down from sugar highs. He grabbed his black swimming trunks and ran downstairs. When he saw that Patty was hanging upside down from the China cabinet he very well near fainted. Liz turned to him.
"Kid! You brought your trunks?" He didn't answer. He was too horrified by the way Patt was hanging to even look at Liz. She rolled her eyes and snatched the clothes from his hand. She shook the clothes in front of Patty's eyes and smirked when her eyes followed.
"Look Patty! The trunks you hate so much!" Patty gave a childish glare. "If you calm down I'll give them to you!" Patty put her hand to her chin in thought.
"Ok sis!" She said and climbed down easily. She snatched the trunks from her then ripped them in half easily.
"Patty!" Kid yelled and began to panic at the asymmetry of how she tore them. Liz grabbed the cowboy hat on his head and pulled it over his eyes.
"This way you don't have to watch." Liz said sweetly. He nodded and hung his head. 'So these outfits do come with perks.' Liz thought happily as Patty tore it up more.
