Hermione Granger was excited for the next few weeks of NXT:UK shows. Her storyline with Tharpe Torry, played by her real-life boyfriend Harry Potter, was gaining momentum and she loved every moment of it.

Off-screen, Hermione and Harry were in a happy and loving relationship. They would often steal glances at each other when they thought no one was looking and would hold hands whenever they could. But on-screen, they were characters in a captivating storyline that had the fans completely invested.

As the ring announcer, Hermione would introduce Tharpe Torry with a soft voice, contrasting his tough exterior. It was all part of the storyline, but the chemistry between the two was undeniable. The fans were cheering for their relationship to become a reality, and it seemed like it was going that way.

But there was one person who wasn't happy about their relationship: Draco Malfoy, Harry's best friend and also a wrestler in NXT:UK.

Draco had been supportive of Harry's wrestling career from the beginning, but he was struggling with the idea of Harry and Hermione together. As Harry's character was turning face, Draco's character, Lord Malfoy, was becoming more jealous and arrogant.

Off-screen, Hermione tried to be supportive of Draco as well. She would often hang out with him and Harry, listening to their stories and teasing them about their on-screen rivalry. But she could sense that something was off with Draco.

During a break in filming, Hermione approached Draco in the locker room. "Hey, is everything okay?" she asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Draco looked up at her, surprised by her concern. "Yeah, why do you ask?"

"I don't know, you just seem a little distant lately," Hermione said, studying his face.

Draco sighed. "It's nothing, really. I'm just not used to being the bad guy all the time. It's hard to shake off the character sometimes."

Hermione nodded understandingly. "I know what you mean. But just remember, it's all part of the show. You're doing a great job with your character, and the fans are really invested in your rivalry with Harry."

Draco smiled weakly. "Thanks, Hermione. I appreciate it."

As filming resumed, Hermione couldn't help but think about Draco's words. She knew that the lines between reality and kayfabe were often blurred in the wrestling world, and she wondered if Draco's jealousy was more than just his character's persona.

But she pushed those thoughts aside as she continued to work on her own character. As Tharpe Torry's manager, she was tasked with bringing out the best in him, both in and out of the ring.

Off-screen, Hermione and Harry's relationship was blossoming. They would often go on dates and talk about their future together. Hermione loved the way Harry would hold her hand and gaze into her eyes, and she loved the way he made her feel.

But their real-life relationship was also affecting their on-screen performances. As Tharpe Torry's character was turning face, Hermione's character was starting to show more compassion towards him.

During one match, Tharpe Torry was facing off against Lord Malfoy, and Hermione was at ringside, cheering on her client. But when Lord Malfoy cheated and hit Tharpe with a low blow, Hermione's character rushed into the ring to check on Tharpe, breaking her kayfabe role.

The fans were shocked by Hermione's actions, but they loved it. The storyline had taken on a new level of intensity, and it seemed like Hermione and Harry's real-life love had spilled over into their on-screen performances.

As the weeks went on, tensions started to rise between Tharpe Torry and Lord Malfoy. They were both gunning for the NXT UK Championship, and their storyline was becoming more and more intense.

Harry could see the strain it was putting on Draco, who was playing the heel character of Lord Malfoy. He would often seem moody or distant, and Harry knew that something was eating away at him.

One night, after a particularly grueling match, Harry pulled Draco aside.

"Hey, man, I know something's been bothering you. You can talk to me, you know," Harry said, looking at his friend with concern.

Draco sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's just... I don't know, man. I mean, we've been best friends ever since school. Hell, we used to watch your dad's matches together, practicing his moves as kids, but... I dunno... I suppose its just the storyline, me having to taunt you and Hermione, its getting to me."

He sat down on a bench.

"I've tried talking to the writers, but it seems that they want my character to start to try and steal Hermione off you. I don't really want to, especially as we're best mates, and the fans love you and Hermione. But the folks at the top told me that it could provide bigger things for my character."

"Listen mate, I'm with you all the way. We can make it work - remember when you and Pansy started dating back at school? I was your wingman - and look at you, you're engaged to her." Harry said, hugging Draco. "She knows the real you, just like Hermione and I do. We'll get through this, you, me and Hermione."

Draco nodded, grateful for Harry's support. But the pressure was getting to him, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he was letting his friend down.

The following week, at a pay-per-view event, Tharpe Torry and Lord Malfoy faced off in a Tables match. It was the culmination of their storyline, and the audience was on the edge of their seats.

As the match progressed, the tension between the two wrestlers was palpable. They were both determined to come out on top, to prove that they were the better wrestler.

But as the match reached its climax, something snapped in Lord Malfoy. He grabbed the microphone and, to the shock of the audience, started to denounce Tharpe Torry and his relationship with Hermione.

"Listen to me, you pathetic losers. Tharpe Torry is nothing but a fraud, a wrestler who hides behind his girlfriend instead of facing his opponents head-on. And as for Hermione Granger, she's nothing but a two-timing cheat, who's been playing you all for fools."

The audience was in stunned silence, not knowing how to react. They had always known that wrestling was fake, but they were lapping it up.

Harry, who was lying on the mat, trying to recover from a hit he had taken, was equally stunned. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He knew that Draco was playing his part, just llke Harry was.

Hermione, who was announcing the match, rushed to the ring, her eyes wide with shock and anger, playing her part in the story

"What the hell do you think you're doing, Malfoy?" she shouted.

Draco ignored her, continuing his rant. "You all think that Tharpe Torry is this great wrestler, this hero. But he's nothing but a coward, hiding behind his girlfriend. And as for Hermione Granger, she's been cheating on him with me. That's right, she's been sneaking around behind his back, meeting me in a hotel. And I've got the proof"

A video played out on the big screen, and Harry remembered how he, Draco and Hermione had been in stitches after filming it. He knew their real life friendship would survive the impact of the storyline.

But as he watched the audience's reaction, he realized that they had gone too far.

The crowd was in uproar, some of them cheering, while others were booing. Harry could see the confusion and hurt on Hermione's face, and he knew that this had gone too far.

He struggled to his feet, ignoring the pain in his back. "That's enough, Malfoy. You've gone too far."

But Harry knew the match had to continue. As Harry, he knew that Hermione and Draco were playing their parts, but as Torry, he needed to attack Draco. Feigning the struggle of getting up, he hit Draco with the Torry Twist, just like they had planned.

As they planned, Draco kicked out. As they planned, Draco put Harry through a table that had been set up. But unlike their plans, Harry felt pain. Not emotional pain that his character would be going through, but legitimate pain.

He could feel that his leg had broke. He had landed awkwardly and was in legitimate pain.

The referee came over to him to check on him, Hermione rushing over too. The crowd were booing Draco's character. But Harry, like Hermione and Draco, knew that the boos were not directed at Draco, but at the storyline that had gone too far.

"Harry, are you okay?" Hermione asked, concern etched on her face.

"No, I'm not. I think I broke my leg," Harry said, gritting his teeth in pain.

The referee signalled to the back, and medics rushed to the ring, carefully placing Harry on a stretcher. Draco and Hermione accompanied him to the back, their worry for their friend and co-worker evident on their faces.

As they arrived backstage, Harry's dad, James came up to them. "Are you ok kiddo?" he asked, his eyes filled with concern.

Harry shook his head, his pain evident. "I think I broke my leg," he said, his voice shaky.

"Just so you know, I...I wasn't on board with this idea, this storyline." James said, hugging his son. "I knew you, Hermione and Draco would be able to pull it off, but... sometimes unexpected things happen... injuries and stuff."

Hermione rested her hand on James's shoulder. "We knew what we were signing up for when Creative came up with the idea."

"In a way, its my own fault." Harry said, as they went through the corridor. "I landed awkwardly."

Draco shook his head. "It's not your fault. Accidents happen, especially in wrestling. It's part of the job. Remember that time when we were in the indies and I botched that move, breaking my arm?"

Harry nodded, his face scrunched up in pain as they continued down the hallway.

"Well, this is just like that. It's nobody's fault," Draco continued, trying to comfort his friend.

Hermione nodded in agreement. "We'll make sure you get the best medical care, Harry. You'll be back in the ring in no time."

Harry nodded, grateful for their support. He knew that he had to be strong, that this injury was just another part of the job.

But as the medics wheeled him out of the arena and into the waiting ambulance, Harry couldn't shake the feeling that something had gone wrong. That they had pushed the storyline too far, that they had crossed a line that shouldn't have been crossed.

Following that match, Harry had taken some time off. Creative had changed the storyline, making it seem that the video was a deepfake, something that Lord Malfoy had created to discredit Tharpe Torry and Hermione.

During his time off, allowing him to recover from his injury, he was grateful for the support. Not just from his family, but the support from Hermione and Draco as well.

His relationship with Hermione had been going from strength to strength, and it was the day before he returned to training when he made his decision. He was going to propose to her.
