The next day, Lana is awaken by the sound of the garbage truck parked outside. She rises from her bed and makes a beeline to the coffeepot. She steals a few drops from the coffeepot while it's still brewing. Lana goes out to the front porch to take in the morning air and to plan her new day. She either can paint some more or work outside on her yard. Lana chooses the latter because she remembers the weather is supposed to be nice without rain. She finishes waking up by hopping in the shower. Then she adorns herself in cute work clothes because she will need to visit the local home store before working on the yard. You never know who you may run into. Lana was open-minded but did not take things over the top. She arrives at the home store and goes straight to the garden section. This area is very dangerous for Lana because of the wide variety of items she would like for her yard. She finally walks out a hundred dollars later with her latest finds, and goes straight home before her plants start wilting. Lana arrives home and strategically places her finds one at a time in the yard in their respective places. While Lana is busy planting, a local walks his dog up the street and stops to admire Lana's yard. She turns around because she hears the jingling of the dog tags. The guy introduces himself to her and they start to talk. She reaches down to let the dog, a lab mix, get acquainted with her. Lana welcomes her new friend into her yard as they continue to talk some more. Brandon, her new friend, is taken by her and her house. He tells her that he likes when others pay attention to their properties. She agrees and thanks him for noticing. Brandon eventually moves on his way because the dog was getting restless. Lana appreciated the visit and then continues to work in the yard.
