I Can Honestly Say That Was Completely Unexpected

Disclaimer: I do not own the Mortal Instruments. Nor do I own a Maserati.

Alec, Magnus, Clary, and Isabelle were enjoying an average day at the Institute. Isabelle was chasing Church with a spoon of something that looked toxic, Alec and Magnus were snogging so passionately that no one even noticed them, and Clary was reading. It was just an average day at the Institute until . . .
SCREECH! SCREECH!
Clary jumped up from her chair while Alec and Magnus stopped making out and Isabelle covered her ears.
"What the heck is that?" Clary yelled over the awful noise
"It sounds like . . . Monkeys?"
Magnus' guess was confirmed as Jace crashed through the window followed by hundreds of screeching monkeys.
"Ohmigawsh! The world is like totally being taken over by monkeys! We're all gonna die and I won't make it to the shoe sale! UGH!"
"Umm Jace? Are you okay?" Alec asked worriedly as Clary felt the hysterical teen's forehead.
"I am going to miss the shoe sale. DO YOU THINK I AM OKAY!"
"NOOO!" cried Magnus, running to Jace's side. "I've been looking forward to that sale for months!" together they collapsed onto the floor, sobbing.
"Shouldn't we do something about these?" Clary asked Alec, gesturing at the monkeys that were now tearing everything in the room to pieces.
"Oh um yeah. Probably."
They began killing said monkeys.
"GASP!" Everyone stared at Isabelle. "The sky is falling!" Everyone stared at the ceiling. It was, surprisingly, actually falling.
"Run for your lives shadowhunters!" Everyone stared at the cat.
"HOLY CHEESE WHEELS!" Jace screamed
"You can talk!"
"No duh, Sherlock."
"AHH!" he curled into a ball and sucked his thumb. Magnus tried to comfort him with words of new sweaters and high heel shoes.
"I can honestly say that was completely unexpected." remarked Alec
"Though I feel I should remind you all that the cat is right. We should probably be running." he pointed to the ceiling that was still crashing to the ground under the weight of thousands of screeching monkeys.
"Oh. Right."
And they ran from the Institute.

AN: So how'd you like it? Sucky ending? Sorry, maybe I will rewrite it if people don't like it. But I don't know if you don't unless you review!
