I'm so sorry I haven't updated in forever! Here it is without a doubt!
Luv, CST
The room was dark, empty, and cold, but something about the snow falling blissfully at night doesn't let me sleep. I climbed down off of my bunk and crawled onto the icy windowsill. Our street only has one lamp, so it's still awfully dark at night- even with a bright white blanket of snow. I sat quietly for ages, my knees wrapped up in my hot pink gown, and my head resting on my paw. I sighed and looked away from the window, only to find a small dark figure watching me. I was scared half to death! My limbs went loose and I lost my 'balance' on sill.
"Whoa-ah-ah!" I yelped, throwing my arms in the air.
A pair of paws grabbed mine and pulled me back onto the small sill. My nose was pressed against another.
"Are you okay? I didn't mean to scare you- honest!" whispered a shocking voice.
"Alvin?"
"Yes, but are you okay?"
"I-I'm fine…"
His paws were still locked with mine, "Why are you up here?"
I sighed and sat down again, forcing him to finally let go of my paws, and wrapped my arms around my knees and rested my chin on them. He sat down in front of me. "Why are you up here?" He repeated.
"Alvin… Do you think I'm pretty?"
"You've got to kidding me."
"Well?"
"No, I think you're beautiful."
"No you don't."
"Okay, you got my there."
"I knew it."
"You're drop dead gorgeous…" he whispered.
"Then why do you always fight with me?"
He paused. "Because you make me crazy."
"How?"
"You're gorgeous, smart, silly, fun, competitive, talented... I could go on all night."
"Then do."
He sighed. "You're sweet, nice, PERFECT… And you're my best friend."
"Do you want to know why I was up here?"
"Well, yeah!"
I leaned in close enough to feel his breath, "I was thinking of a way to make you say those things."
"I love you so much, Brittany."
"I love you too."
"Merry Christmas!" He held up a small mistletoe and before he could even have me acknowledge that it was there, our lips were locked… And that's how it stayed until Christmas morning… Which was in about five minutes- but still.
