A sharp pain shot through my body forcing my eyes to move and my body to cry out in not only pain, but fright. My senses were steadily coming back to normal when I heard Marc's and lyle's laughing. I had been the victim of the pranks, once again. I had begun to chuckle when everyone else in the group actually moved and began to show signs of life. Marc, the first and youngest rotom brother, was on the floor next to he older brother, the second and middle child; Lyle.

"What happened? Did someone die?" Lizeth sounded groggy and tired, she probably didn't like being woken up so early, it could only be about 4:30 in the morning. I moved my line of site past her when I heard a gruff sound; Noctowl was already up, and he didn't seem pleased. Why couldn't we have one normal day?

"Samuels missing."

Lizeth shot up like a bullet. She looked hurt, she had looked hurt since her and Samuel had stopped talking. "What? What do you mean missing?" She practically yelled at Noctowl. She was angry, disappointed, and hurt. "Where could he have gone, were less than 2 hrs from the next kingdom and he leaves; what the hell?" She stomped off not even caring who she stepped on.

Carl looked serious, starring at his sister with a sense of sadness and protectiveness. Explains why I've always wanted a bigger brother. Then the brothers spoke up. " what's her problem?" Asked Lyle, the second brother.

Carl abruptly stood up and hopped towards his sister snarling at Lyle on his way. "Does it matter?"

Confused I looked at Noctowl who looked at me quite annoyed. "Please tell me you understand what just happened..." He stated plainly, like this should be easy to understand.

I shook my head slowly and he signed, "well, that is for lizeth to tell you."

"We should go look for him, right?" Carl spoke with uncertainty, but he was right. We had to find him. He was a part of our family and family sticks together.

"Right, we need to. Carl has been there for us and now we have to be there for him." While I said this I looked at Lyle, Marc, and Einstein, whose faces were unreadable. Something was going on with them, but I had no idea what. How come everything involves them?

Meanwhile...

The grass had ceased to grow a while ago and the scorching plains were beginning to burn through the thick pads of protection on his paws. Memories, terrible memories plagued Samuels mind, 'why did she have to befriend rotom? Of all the pokemon she could've befriended it had to be rotom.'

Sighing from exhaustion Samuel sat on the heated dirt and thought. 'What will I tell Lizeth? What if she's angry I left?' Sighing again Samuel laid his head on the dirt. After walking all night to clear his head, he was dangerously tired.

"Would you like a place to spend the night Nobel traveler?" Shocked, Samuel sprang up from his place on the ground and looked worriedly at the friendly voice who spoke.

She was a beautiful sight to see, her shining steel feathers shone brightly in the suns beating raise. He knew he had never seen the magnificent bird who stood before him, nor had he ever seen any of her kind, but he knew what kingdom she was born from. It was obvious, it could be no other kingdom; steel.

The steel bird shifted her weight from one foot to the next while her expression changed from one of content to one of worry. "Are you alright, or are you weary from your traveling? If so, you may come stay at my place for the night to come. It gets awfully cold at night, it mimics the weather of a desert here, therefore the blistering heat you feel now will begin to dissipate late this afternoon. You won't be so comfortable outside, I promise." Her voice was soothing but stern and forceful at the same time. But one question still lingered in his mind...

Finally turning to face her head on and proud he decided to answer her. "Why are you offering to help me, I'm no steel type, which if you ask me is pretty obvious. So why help me?" Standing straighter, he realized just how grand this bird before him was. He was tall for his kind, standing at 3'8, but this bird had to be at least 5 foot, most likely more.

She giggled at him and grinned lightly, amused by the comment. Leaning down to see him eye to eye she spoke with a lighthearted tone "Just because we are born of different kingdoms does not mean that I shall not offer my kindness to any who come to stand before me. I know of the...kingdom and type thing happening now but I personally disapprove with it. I believe that a pokemon of any type can get along with a pokemon of another." She giggled again, but this time it was different, it was saddened and quickly void of emotion. "I probably shouldn't have said that, after I tell most travelers about my beliefs on the issue at hand, most turn and walk with their nose sky high. Pompous jerks they all are, who is to determine which type is better than another. Each and everyone out there has their weaknesses you know?" She looked him in the eyes as she said this. Samuel looked into those cool silvery grey eyes and saw sadness, but it was well hidden. He saw pain, hurt, but also happiness.

"What's your name?" He just blurted everything out now, forgetting all manners and everything he had been taught about not trusting other types.

She straightened herself and laughed yet again. "Well, it's actually quite stupid, I mean considering my color is silver it's really uncreative. But I like it; my name is Silvia."

Samuel smiled for the first time in days, actually, since the rotom gang had appeared. "Well I think that is a beautiful name. And, I would love to stay at your house for the night." And with that she lead him off toward her home talking along the way. Samuel didn't love her, not in a marriage way, no. But he was definitely intrigued by her. She was beautiful, but she was made of steel. She was kind, but she was a steel type. She was a bird that could fly, but she was steel. As she talked and giggled beside him he finally realized why he was so fond of her; he practically already knew her. She acted just like Lizeth, when she was happy.

Silvia is not meant to 'fall' for Samuel and he is not meant to fall for her, it's more of admiration he has for her. But yeah, if you haven't already figured it out, I already have someone in mind for Samuel to...fall, for.

But yeah, what do you think of Silvia's and Samuels relationship so far, and what does it resemble to you. Also of course did you like the chapter, did it satisfy your needs for now? Farewell
