"Isn't this, too, an 'end' and nothing more?"

"Ty!" Sky called, his fingers tightly grasping the frame of the painting. "Ty, jump in!" he almost begged, looking at the brunet standing in the middle of the hallway.

"Ty, come on, where were you?" echoed from the far end of the said corridor. Two figures stood there, the looks on their faces concerned.

"Ty," Sky breathed out as he watched Tyler, almost reading his thoughts. "No…"

"We were looking all over for you! Where were you?" one of the figures, a shorter brunet wearing a red checkered hoodie, asked.

Ty opened his mouth to answer, but closed it again. He turned to the painting, looking up at Sky.

"Give me your hand, I'll pull you up!" Sky said, outstretching his hand towards the teen.

"Ty, why would you go with that creep? Come on, the exit's this way!" the taller said, pointing to a door in the dark corner of the corridor.

Oh, come on. How could they think Ty would fall for such an obvious trick?

"Ty?" Sky called out when the velvet eyed boy didn't move.

And Ty moved, turning on the heels of his sneakers, footsteps thumping on the wooden floor lining the hallway.

"Ty!" Sky called after him, eyes going wide behind his shades.

How could Try fall for such a cheap trick… After all this…

"Ty!"

The teen ignored him, walking down to his friends, who seemed extremely pleased with themselves.

"Ty! No!"

Sky banged on the picture, tears springing to his eyes and pouring out, burning.

Ty, along with the duo, slowly disappeared in the shadows, their footsteps fading away slowly.

Sky's body sagged, shoulders trembling. After… After all they went through… How did Try get fooled so easily?

Didn't they promise they'd escape together and go eat at the café down the street? So why…?

Why would Ty abandon him for his friends who weren't even real?

Why…?

Why…?

Why…?!
