Hello everyone! So sorry for the wait. *insert excuse about life and writer's block* But here's the rest of chapter 5! Hope you like it :)
Oh no. Oh hell no. I am not being blackmailed by some crazy ass fangirl. Not freakin' happening.
"Give me back my computer bitch," I growled.
"No way! This is just too good to give up!" she giggled.
~hours earlier~
"Glad you could work with us Sam," Dessi said, skimming some old book, "it's nice to have other people hanging out here." Like me and Dessi, Sam got stuck with researching all the stuff with Sas and Crob while everyone else got to do field work. This meant we were in Crob's library and had to read until our eyes bled. Yah for freakin' us.
"Well, it's kinda nice to spend some time away from Dean. He's my brother and everything but he can be kind of overbearing." Sam offered a small smile. We offered him one in return.
"Find anything useful?" Sas asked as he walked in.
"Not really," I sighed. I shut whatever book I had been looking through (it was in Latin, but someone had translated it to English. The translation were bad enough, however, I just read it in the original form) and rubbed my temples. "To be honest I don't know what we're expecting to find."
"I don't think anyone does," Des mumbled. Sas shrugged.
"Samci sent me a text earlier. It was a bit vague, but it said they might have a lead. So while they're doing that, I say we take a break," he said. Everyone nodded their agreement. We abandoned the library for Crobby's living room (which was actually really cozy. And he had a lot of chairs for someone who said he didn't like having people over) and made ourselves right at home. I yawed.
"So, any one heard from the distant relatives lately?" I asked. By distant relatives I meant Calthazar and Wincestiel and such. They talked to us and everything they just weren't around much. With Cal I'm pretty sure it was an independent 'I'm my own boss' thing, and who knew with the others. Des shook her head.
"Not much. Cal is pretty much the only one who regularly keeps in touch."
"Why? Anyone talked to you?" Sas asked.
"Valid question, but no, not recentl-" I cut myself off mid-sentence and face palmed. "I am an idiot." Crobby walked in then, speaking words of infinite wisdom.
"We already knew that yah idjit," he said. Crobby was dressed the same as the rest of us were, in many layers of plaid. He looked considerably more like Crowley and had quite a bit of stubble. What separated him from pretty much all of us was his accent. It had a habit of changing and sometimes it would even run together to form a new accent of his own. "But what did you do this time?" I sent him a mild glare.
"I forgot that I had made plans with Cal a while back."
"And?" he said.
"And I was going to meet her-" I looked at the clock by the door "- 12 minutes ago."
"Who's Cal?" Sam asked.
"Calthazar. Cas/Balthazar," Sas said. "Sabe when were you going to mention she was coming over?" I started to slightly panic. Okay, no, it was probably just normal panic.
"I was going to tell you but then I forgot and I forgot she was even coming over I can't just leave here and leave all the work for you guys and what if she's mad and-" I stopped rambling when Des grabbed my shoulders. I hadn't even noticed her getting up.
"Sabe. Breathe." I did as instructed. Or at least I tried to. It was a bit difficult. Crob left as I tried to calm down mumbling something about 'morons'. "Sabe, it's okay. You know she won't be mad when she is always, as she puts it, 'fashionably late'. So what's up?" I could practically hear the gears turning in Dessi's head and the click in Sas's.
"Are you two-?" Sas asked. I had to think a second before I caught what he said.
" No! I mean- I just miss her? I've been looking forward to seeing her in person again and then I might have messed it up…" I let my voice trial off. I was blushing. A phone bussed and Sas checked it. He held it out to show text.
"From Cal," he said. I took the phone (my phone I realized. Why was it in here?) hesitantly.
Sabe! Answer your phone! The one time I'm early you aren't even there. So right now I'm hangin with Samci so whenever you're done doing whatever it is you're doing let me know.
-Cal 3
I hit my head with the phone. Repeatedly. Pretty much all of them were like that except for the newest one.
So I've just been informed you are at Crob's (Samci failed to mention that. Probably didn't want to share me ;) ) So I'll be there in a sec
-Cal 3
"Sabe!" a voice said happily. I looked up to see Cal walking in. Mainly taking after Balthazar, she was tall and had fabulous hair. Not to mention her hipbones. Not that I noticed them or anything. "Good to actually see you again." Her accents, just like Crobby's, tended to mix together. Today it was more American.
"Cal," I said giving her a hug. "How've yah been?"
"Not too bad," she said. "Just come from Italy. But I'll tell you more about that later. Right now I think I know something that might help this search for answers move along."
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes," she said waving at the other occupants of the room "by the way, hello everyone. " Sas walked over.
"So what is it?" he asked.
"Right," she said. "I was walking down a street in when I happened to hear a very interesting conversation…"
~Present~
"Ooh, if only everyone else could see what you have on here!" Crazy Bitch said as she scrolled through my internet history. How she even got my computer was beyond me. Some sort of complex witch craft was my guess. Since this was also the same person who 'brought us to life' that probably is exactly what happened. "Seriously, you're internet history is worse than mine, and that's saying something!" Crazy Bitch (what was her name? Ana?) was wearing my patience down to the 'nonexistent' area. At least she got bored with the fanfiction. I decided to try a different approach.
"Look, I get it, you're awesome, I'm powerless. Can I please just have my computer back?" After Cal told us about some girl with potential info we went to check it out. What we didn't know was she knew we were coming and decided to ward the place like crazy. She let me in (why, why me) and the Winchesters (who were currently passed out in the basement) but no one else could step a foot inside the house. Thanks to her 'vast knowledge of the supernatural' not only did she trap me but she left me powerless as well. And now I was being blackmailed by the (literal) witch.
"Nope!" she said. Screw this.
"Listen, Ana,-"
"Hana," she corrected.
"Whatever. Hana. Give me the laptop before I take it from you." She laughed.
"You can't do anything, you don't have any powers and you don't have a weapon," Hana said confidently. I bitch faced.
"I don't need those. I have a shit ton of martial art training. So give me the laptop." She laughed again.
"I'm gunna call your bluff. I can just stand in the door way and you wouldn't be able to even touch me." As much as it pissed me off, I knew she was right. "Ooh, let's read your fanfiction again!" Before she could say much else someone appeared beside me. She didn't notice him right away so I decided to make it dramatic.
"You made a mistake you know," I said with a smirk.
"Oh? And what's that-?" Her smile dropped when she saw who was standing next to me.
"You didn't ward against normal angels, dumbass." Hana was knocked out and all the warding removed. It felt nice to have my mojo back and I turned to my rescuer. "Sam and Dean are tied up in the basement, so you should probably go get them. Oh, and thanks Castiel." He nodded.
"You're welcome." Cal appeared beside me.
"What the hell happened?" she asked. I sighed.
"Long story short? It was a set up. Crazy Bitch Hana blocked all my mojo and threw the Winchesters in her basemen. Turns she was the chic who made us using some complex spell that she made up and shit. I don't remember much about it. She was monologuing and I tuned her out. Well, until she blackmailed me with my computer. "
"Well what did she want?"
"Pssh. I just told you I wasn't listening. Something about ruling somewhere. Doesn't really matter anymore. Thank god you guys sent Cas to the rescue. Also, where is everybody?"
"Outside. They wanted to make sure you were sane before talking to you." I rolled my eyes.
"Yah well, I just want to do nothing and watch a movie." We stepped out ide and I was bombarded with questions. I tried to answer as many as I could without punching somebody, which was a bit hard with Samci ("Hhmmm, blackmail with your laptop you say…" "Don't even think about it"). After a while it all seemed to go by really quickly and I eventually got to watch my frickin' movie and hang out with Cal.
Hope it wasn't too choppy (I really wanted to finish this and ended up getting a little *cough* really *cough* lazy) but yah! I'm thinking I'm going to make the rest of the story into just one-shots. Let me know what you think :] (and yah I do sorta ship Sabe/Cal but I ended up not really going any where with that so sorry for any anticlimax...)
Thanks for reading!
