Chapter 2
-Years Earlier-
He was the palace gardener. She was always fascinated with him, he seemed to be a closet romantic with an obvious love for nature and what it has to offer. He had worked in the palace for eight years now and she still did not approach him directly. Everyone knew Sho was favored but he thought nothing of it. He just continued on with his duties, not thinking of questioning royals.
Yazuna knew everything about him. His daily routines, his whereabouts, his parents, and younger brother. She giggled at the thought of knowing so much of him. Never would she think about falling in love with a human man. There was no law against it, but it was uncanny to see a demon and human together.
"Miss Yazuna," a soft voice called on the other side of the door. "It's time for your lessons, be ready in five minutes!"
Yazuna gave a quick answer before turning back to the large window. He was so beautiful. He had long ebony hair that was kept in a braid that reached his mid-back. His clothes were that of a royal servant; a white outfit with the palace insignia. His eyes were a gentle green. What first caught her eye was the scar on cheek that stretched from the bottom of his eye to his cheek. It was a thin line, but still noticeable. Growling in frustration at her maid that called her once more, Yazuna finally slammed the balcony doors shut, and ran out of her bedroom.
Her head maid looked at her up and down thoroughly not at all pleased with the girl's appearance. The long aqua colored gown, with a sheer laced robe over it.
"You know you were supposed to be ready for your lessons today milady!" the older female scolded.
Yazuna scowled, "You never gave me a chance to get ready!" that was a lie of course. The princess had been too busy eyeing Sho that whole morning, but her maid didn't need to know that.
Head maid, Lady Daiyu (pronounced Die-you) was not a woman to be messed with. She was a short, curvy woman—her curves were always hidden under baggy dresses—with russet colored hair that was always in a tight bun. Along with her short height, she also had a very short temper. She was feared among all the maids and butlers in training, which she was proud of. What some didn't know, Daiyu could be pretty sweet and quiet, especially around men, all men. She had never been kissed in her lifetime, so whenever a nice man came along a bright blush would grace her cheeks. But because of her stubborn attitude men avoided her, but besides that, she was an amazing etiquette instructor.
Daiyu raised a brow at her young princess, "Your duties as princess are important, it seems you do not take it seriously," she clicked her tongue. Young girls were so full of life, they didn't want responsibilities at this age. "Today we will skip your lessons, instead you will go out and greet the servants with your presence. I expect you to be clothed properly milady."
Giving Daiyu a bow, Yazuna rushed out of the room. She knew when she got back to hers she would be pummeled with more maids, to help her get dressed. Sighing the woman stepped into her room…she was right.

Several minutes later, Yazuna looked into the mirror. Why do these misfits think you need makeup all the time? Her eyes looked heavier with the dark eyeliner, and her lips looked fuller since she had burgundy dye on them. Her long silver hair was put up in a fancy chignon. Lastly her clothes consisted of a silk blue kimono, with slits on the sides—from her ankle to her knees—which she hated.
"Princess are you ready?"
Nodding, the young female made her way down the long halls of the palace, reveling the feel of the sun when she stepped outside.
Her slippers concealed under her dress clicked against the tiled floors on the outside of the palace. She raised one brow with annoyance as she heard cluttered footsteps behind her. She turned around slowly, eyeing her two ladies maids, and four guards.
"You do not have to guard me," she sighed seeing they would not move, "I am on palace grounds! No one can hurt me here." She assured but they still would not move.
Turning back around she slowly walked to the corner offering a smile to servants that passed by. Finally when she turned the corner she broke off into a run. She was usually a lot faster but due to her many layers of clothing, she was slower. After running for five whole minutes, she looked over her shoulder to see the guards were no longer there. Chuckling she turned back around, but not fast enough, she collided into someone's arms.
Their two bodies meshed together as they rolled down in the gardens, and finally fell into a large pond.
Gasping for air the princess looked at her reflection in the water. Her makeup was ruined and her long silver hair was out of the fancy chignon hairstyle. Curly wet silver locks stuck to her clothing and neck. Her mouth was pulled into an 'o' as she faced the male that she had been keeping an eye on.
He was of course embarrassed and full of shame.
"M-Milady!" he stuttered, his head in a bow.
She said nothing as she wadded through the water, pulling herself out of the pond.
"Milady, forgive me." He pleaded. Much to his surprise her gentle melodic laugh filled the air.
"Nothing to apologize for," she pulled him out the water, "I should be thanking you, I needed some excuse for this gunk to be cleared from my face." She gave a small bow.
He smiled gently in obvious relief. "Thank you."
"You can repay me by walking with me," he looked at her in shock, "there's no need to afraid just a friendly walk through the palace gardens to keep up with your progress. I believe your name is Sho…correct?" she smiled knowingly.
"Yes." He nodded.
The two began to walk at a relaxed pace around the palace. He gave a warning that she should change first but she completely ignored him, changing the subject. The conversation had her in disbelief as she found out that he had worked for the royals since he was old enough to talk. His parents had abandoned him at a young age. It made her think, who would abandon him? He seemed perfect.

Nightfall
His hut was in the fields. It was a decent sized hut.
He guided her inside. "Welcome to my home." He watched the expression on her face. Thinking he would find disgust since she was used to the luxuries at the palace. But to his surprise her eyes were full of excitement.
She scanned the large space. The most eye catching thing he had was the beautiful fireplace. She noticed the beautiful flower decorations painted on the wood and grinned.
"It is beautiful. You have a beautiful home." She turned to him and suddenly found herself tracing the muscle on his arms. Strong. Masculine.
The young male kept himself from groaning aloud. Her touch felt so good. Her warm hands—now gripping his biceps. Her make-up was ruined but he didn't care. She was still beautiful. He had saw her looks of fascination and desire as she watched him from her chamber windows. It made him work the harder. He couldn't explain it but he felt a connection with this woman. He tried to ignore it but it was too much. He leaned in and his lips descended on her fuller ones. Their tongues intertwined in a dance that would never end. Her mind grew fazed with the lust that overpowered her. And suddenly all she felt was her clothes being removed and she was moved to a nearby cot.
She was a virgin of course. He apologized with sadness in his eyes, as her nose scrunched up in obvious pain when he thrust forward. The only sounds made were only of love and pleasure. Groans and moans, excited groans and grunts, until they howled each other's names in the night.

-Present Day-
Her eyes snapped open. She chuckled darkly. Her forehead was leaning against the car window and her chin rested on her fist. She wouldn't cry. There was no tears left to cry. She felt as if everything rejected her. First her the man she planned to spend the rest of her eternal life with, was killed in cold blood. Then her father—who betrayed her mother and the entire kingdom lived happily with his human slut and two extras. She hadn't even been acknowledged as his daughter.
That's why when she arrived at his workplace she wanted to prove to him that she was indeed his. She had taken off her shirt and turned her back toward him, pointing directly to a Prussian crescent moon located in the middle of her back. He was going to turn her away immediately, but she demanded that he do the same as well. The older male had taken off his shirt, revealing his mark to be larger and in the center of his back. That's all that happened, but his two idiots for sons had mistaken it for something else. She scowled in disgust.
And the dinner that had happened two nights before made her blood boil all the more. So many emotions and stench from the human also known as Kagome. The one thing that made Yazuna leave the house, was seeing the large portrait of her mother in the center of entry wall. He didn't keep such a beautiful portrait of her mother out of love…but guilt!
"Miss," her driver turned the wheel to the car, pulling close to a large glass building. "You don't need to suffer and conquer this on your own. You deserve to be vulnerable at times." Her driver, butler, and friend all together in one. Natsu Yomagaru, a gentlemen with fair skin, emerald eyes, and raven colored locks that reached his neck. He was gentle when he was treated kindly but completely changed when he felt disrespect toward him or Yazuna. Not only that but he was in love with the woman and made his intentions well known. They had slept with each other multiple times but she said they couldn't do it again. He reminded her so much of Sho it was uncanny.
Natsu knew that his lady was confused about where they stood. They were certainly linked romantically with one another. An instant connection. He did not approve of her trying so hard to get revenge on the Taisho family. It only left her restless, broken, and even more confused. Sighing he turned his body around in the driver seat after he parked on the side of the street in front of the building.
He looked at her with hidden passion in his emerald eyes. He kept his snarl back. He never understood why she wore a charm to conceal her natural beauty. Only a few hours ago her silvery blue hair had been turned to a chocolate brown that was styled into a twist. Her gorgeous hour glass figure looked ravishing in the coral colored wrap dress. A sight to behold.
Her hazel colored orbs found his emerald ones. "What are you staring at?" she snapped her lips forming into a tight line. No reply. "Can you stop gawking and open the door?"
He chuckled and exited the driver's side immediately opening the back door for Yazuna. Her expensive nude colored stiletto heel hit the ground, she took Natsu's hand for assistance and fully stood outside of the black vehicle.
Closing the door she turned around to see Natsu looming over her tiny frame. She hated when he did such things. It made her feel petite, vulnerable, weak…his six foot two body compared to her five foot six frame. The heels added three extra inches making her feel less tiny. She then looked at the large Taisho Inc. building that she was about to enter.
He sensed her discomfort. "Yazuna I'll wait four minutes. If you are not out by that time, I will come to your aid." He clicked the timer on his watch.
She snarled but was silently grateful. Her graceful steps led her inside the building. Swarms of humans crowded the entire building. Her nose scrunched in disproval. She thought her father had lowered his standards before. She chewed the inside of her cheek trying to keep her innocent appearance before others. Her hand immediately but covertly clenched together in a tight fist. The entire building shook, the power went out for a few seconds.
I'm here father.
oOo
He sensed her presence in the building. Radiating rage and anger. He wanted to leave as fast as he could to avoid trouble. And it was no help since both of his sons were right in the building. They would lose their tempers and all hell would break loose inside the workplace. Inu Taisho slipped on his business coat, ready to exit his office. He leaned over to grab his briefcase, swallowing tightly.
Then the door burst open. He quickly turned around sighing in relief seeing Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. He honestly couldn't take anymore fighting. With his daughter on a rampage, and his wife in emotional denial he couldn't deal with anymore of this.
"Father." Sesshomaru closed the door. "She's inside the building. Should I call for guards?" Sesshomaru suddenly felt his entire body slammed into a nearby wall. His head turned to see his father and half-brother in the same position as he. Practically glued to the wall, his eyes turned back toward the door.
"Hello." Said the voice.

-scowls-
I'm disappointed and beyond pissed. This chapter felt like a complete crash and burn to me. During the past months I lost all urge to write due to personal problems in my family, which caused writers block. But I won't give up on this story. Just be patient.
This chapter also felt rushed way too much. But I wanted to belt out everything for an update. But don't fret. When I edit a chapter…I mean I edit a chapter. I'll put more detail into the rushed parts and slow it down.
Thank you so much for your reviews, likes, and follows. I Love You All so much! By the way did anyone catch the Blood moon? It's currently 2:40 AM and it's so beautiful.
Take care!
