Hey guys, sorry for the late update. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things. Um if there was any confusion, I know this story had three chapters before, but I decided to combine those three chapters into what is now the massive first chapter. All chapter following it are entirely new, so if this chapter doesn't make any sense and you already read the original first three chapters, go to chapter 2 and that should do the trick. If there is anything you guys would like me to try in this story, please let me know in the reviews or pm me. Other than that, please enjoy and review :-D

"How did things turn out like this," Takano asked himself as he ran his hands through his hair while he sat in the hospital waiting room. "Why, Ritsu? Why did it have to be you? Why did you do it?" Takano wondered as he thought back to the events earlier that day.

"Wait, Ritsu," Takano called. Onodera stopped with his hand on the door. "How long before the bombs go off? Why are you doing this?"

"Now Takano san, if I told you the answer to either of those questions, where would the fun be," Onodera smiled before exiting the door. Takano's gaze met Cross's pained stare.

"Get… this fucking… thing out of me," Cross commanded. Takano continued to look at Cross, but he thought of the group of students he had met in the elevator, as he did. They were a mix of Japanese, American, and British students. All of them were chattering away with each other about their new found friendships. They were making plans to SKYPE and facebook with one another. Takano remembered grinning at the connections they were all making. Takano, himself, remembered the joy he felt when he made his first friend after being left by Ritsu.

"…There are hundreds of kids from all over the world there to learn more about politics," Takano remembered Luka saying.

"I'm sorry," he whispered to Cross as he walked by him and out the door. He couldn't let all those kids die. When Takano entered the hallway, he glanced around to see if Onodera was still there but he had disappeared.

Takano began to sprint down the hallway, he had seen the schematics of the hotel when he was with Kitazawa and they were trying to figure out where Cross was. So, Takano had a rough idea where the boiler room was.

"It had to be the boiler room! Just like when Haitani was trying to blow up the imperial palace. Ritsu… what happened to you? I know you're angry about being paralyzed and Haitani being free, but it's never been in you to hurt children," Takano thought as he reached the elevator and frantically pushed the button. "He kept smiling all throughout our confrontation. It reminded me of a psychopath!

The elevator dinged and Takano quickly entered. Unconsciously he began to tap his foot impatiently as the elevator made its descent. "It's been two years. What all could have happened between then and now? If he really did kill those seven people, then there will be no way for him to come back. Shade will hunt him down and lock him away forever," Takano thought. "or worse. Oh god, Ritsu what have you done!"

The elevator finally reached the lobby. Takano sprinted off and tried to wrestle his way through. In the time that Takano had been in room 1116, the swarming herd of hormones and puberty had come down for the start of the International Student United Nations meeting. "Make a hole," Takano cried. The students who understood English, parted like the Red Sea, but that still left others who continued chattering away with their friends. "Dammit," Takano hissed under his breath as he made his way through.

That was when he realized something, if the building had a massive bomb in it then they should try and evacuate as many people as possible, but given the limited time Onodera had talked about, they still wouldn't be able to get a majority out. Also, because Takano had not seen the bomb that Onodera had slipped into Cross, Takano had no idea what type of bomb he was dealing with.

"Guess I'll have to rely on my knowledge of diffusing IED bombs. But to be able to slip a small bomb like Onodera did to Cross, it's got to have some type of coating surrounding it to ensure that the functions of the human body don't disrupt the circuitry of the bomb and cause it to go off accidentally! That means a larger bomb is going to have a coating that may be impossible to breach," Takano thought as he reached for his phone and dialed.

"Hello," answered Reiji.

"Reiji san, we've got a problem. There's a bomb in the boiler room of this hotel set to go off really soon. You know anything about bomb diffusing."

"What? What about Cross? And no I don't."

"He's got a bomb sealed inside of him. I'm going to try and diffuse the bomb in the boiler room first, I'm already in the lobby!"

"You should have called me sooner about this, I'm already calling the bomb squad."

"Yeah well, I didn't think of it until now, kind of had to figure out my priorities. If we don't diffuse the bomb in the boiler room, we're going to have probably a whole city block full of dead bodies."

"Yeah I'd figured that out already. What room is Cross in?"

"Room 1116."

"Seriously! The eleventh floor! Dammit how long do we have before the bombs go off?"

"Don't know," Takano stated as he sprinted down the stairs to the basement. "Onod… Our bad guy didn't say."

"You saw him? You better describe him for me in case you die in an explosion."

"I'm not going to die, just get the bomb squad here!"

When Takano entered the boiler room he looked around wildly but the bomb was not in an obvious spot. "Okay Masamune, you've got to think like a bad guy. And a bad guy would place a bomb where it would inflict maximum damage," Takano thought. He checked the heaters and radiators that had lines running throughout the building, before checking the water heaters, nothing.

Takano sighed, "This isn't some random bad guy. This is Ritsu, he knows nothing about bombs, so he wouldn't know where to put it nor would he want to inflict maximum damage." Takano began to look around the sides of the room and under the tarp that was there. Still, he found nothing. Takano paused for a moment trying to think. "Where else could the damn thing be," Takano asked himself as he combed through the entire room.

As Takano searched, his mind began to flicker pack to everything he and Onodera had been through. Meeting and falling in love in high school, meeting Kisa san and figuring out who the other was, going to Switzerland, stopping Haitani. Takano still could remember how pissed Ritsu had been when he came back from Yukina's place, sure that Yukina had died only to find out that Takano had found Yukina at his job in the bookstore. Takano could still remember just how hard his heart had pounded when he saw Ritsu in that suit, because Ritsu had been planning on grifting Yukina.

"Wait a minute," Takano realized. "Ritsu knows nothing about bombs, but he does know how to grift… how to lie really well. Oh shit! There is no second bomb, he just said that to distract me, knowing I would try and save the kids here first. OH FUCK!" Takano turned on his heel and raced back up the way he had come.

When Takano reached the lobby, he started shouting 'make a hole,' in every language that he knew. Kids and adults got the hell out of his way; many even exited the elevator as he entered with a crazed look in his eyes. "I'm an idiot! Why didn't I think Ritsu would lie to me," Takano thought only to have a small internal voice answer him. "Maybe because two years ago he could only lie well on the job but he couldn't lie well to you. Him being able to lie to you now means that there really is nothing left for you, which is why you believed and wanted there to be another bomb. So it wouldn't be over."

The elevator finally opened onto the eleventh floor and Takano sprinted off of it. The hallways he crossed, flashed by in a blur as he reached room 1116. The door was still busted from before, but as Takano reached to open it… the bomb went off.

"How did this happen? Why, Ritsu why," was the last thing Takano thought before everything went black.

Nico Blanc stood in front of the television, watching the news. The news was showing the damage of room 1116. The reporter stated, "Police say that someone was in the room, however, this person's identity is still unknown. It is not known how the bomb was placed in the room, nor is it known how the victim came to be in the room. We have gotten reports that someone was outside the room when the bomb went off. However, his condition is still unknown at this time. We will continue following this story as more details emerge."

Nico turned down the volume of the television while pushing his glasses up just as Onodera rolled into the room. "Have you seen this Mr. Rowe," asked Nico.

"I've told you before, call me Damien," smiled Onodera before nodding toward the television. "It's spectacular, isn't it? Everyone should be well pleased! Come on, Dr. Blanc it's all coming together."

"If you want me to call you Damien, then you have to call me Nico. This is a lot of attention, it will make it much more difficult to make our maneuvers and plays," responded Nico.

"Well, that will make this all the more fun," Onodera smiled again. Nico nodded before walking over to stand right in front of Onodera.

"If we can't make the maneuvers we need though, then everything will be over and done with and terminated," Nico stated leaning down in front of Onodera's face.

Onodera smiled, "It's sweet that you're worried for me, but you don't have to be. I've got everything covered." Onodera reached his hand up to stroke Nico's face.

"I just don't want to see you get hurt again," Luka smiled sadly before leaning closer to Ritsu's face and brushing his lips against his. Luka reached his hand up to the back of Onodera's head to tilt it back making Onodera's mouth become easier to access. Onodera let out a soft moan as he did this. Soon both of them had their tongues wrestling for dominance.

Onodera playfully nipped Luka's tongue before pulling back. "You really are very sweet," he smiled at Nico. Nico nodded, before walking past him and out of the room. Onodera lost his smile as he looked down at his hand, "Very sweet, indeed."

Onodera rolled into his bedroom and locked the door, before looking at his hand again. He had always found it amazing how easy it was to pickpocket someone when you kissed them. He pulled out his cellphone and dialed a number. The phone rang a couple of times before it was picked up. "Hey it's me," Onodera stated. "I stole his phone. The number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. I'm sending all the recent calls and listed phone numbers now. Can you do anything with that?"

"Oh, I can do everything with that," responded a familiar voice.

Dun, dun, dunnnnn :-D I'm just going to say this about the story, nothing is going to be what it seems, or at least I'm going to try and make it that way. Let me know if I succeed, was the twist with the bomb expected? Was Takano thinking that it's really over with Onodera expected? Was the ending expected? Please let me know :-D Please review and keep being awesome :-DDD
