Hey guys sorry its been awhile, but I've had other papers to write for school and it looks like that will continue throughout the semester. However, I will do my best to update when I can. Anywho please enjoy and review :-D
Takano had been right outside the door when the bomb went off. However, by some miracle he was not injured badly. He had a split lip and eyebrow and broken three ribs and fractured another one. The doctor had cleared him to fly after about an hour after he had examined Takano.
As soon as that happened, Shade had him on the first jet back to Japan. Takano for the most part was still stunned. Onodera had lied to him, tricked him into letting his asset die. As he sat on the plane, Takano's haunted look spoke volumes to everyone, telling them to stay away. One question in his mind kept swirling around and around, "Why, Onodera, why?"
The explosion, itself, had made international news. The students that were in the hotel had been asked to return to their native countries, thus to avoid further international incident. "Little late for that," Takano thought. If even one student from any of the countries had been injured, or god forbid killed, the political relationship between the English government and the student's native country would have been strained beyond repair. As it was now, England was in hot water with members of foreign governments because of the bombing.
Takano sighed as he gazed out the window of the jet, before deciding to get some sleep, "Probably not going to get the chance to sleep when I get back anyways," he thought. However, when Takano closed his eyes, all he saw was Onodera's smiling face as he lied to Takano and Cross's terrified one from when Onodera stabbed him. "God, what am I going to tell everyone at Shade? If anyone finds out a former Shade agent went rogue, god Ritsu do realize what you've done! They're going to kill you when they find out! I could maybe say I didn't see Ritsu… say the bad guy was wearing a mask," Takano thought before another voice in his head spoke. "And if you failing to report that Onodera is cause of all the murder gets someone else you're close to killed like Luka, Seiji, or Seiji's daughter, will you be able to live with yourself?" Takano banged his head against the seat.
"What if telling anyone gets Ritsu killed," Takano's other voice thought. "I've been waiting for thirteen years! I love him with all my heart! I can't lose him!"
"So you're really willing to lose everyone else, just so you can keep Onodera, who by the way made it completely clear he wants nothing to do with you," the second voice responded.
"What if I conduct my own investigation and tell everyone at Shade that I have a concussion and can't remember what the bad guy looks like or who he is?" Takano's first voice argued.
"That sounds like something a child would say. This is the real world, Onodera isn't going to stop, he's going to keep going until all of Shade's assets that fit the profile are dead. He'll burn down the globe if he has too!"
Takano's first voice remained silent. Mind 1/ Heart 0. Takano sighed again; this was going to be a long flight.
"How could you let Alex Cross die? What the fuck were you thinking," yelled Shade's agency director Isaka Takashiro at Takano who say quietly in a chair in the department head, Isaka Ryuichiro's office.
"Please calm down Director," Isaka san said in a soothing voice.
"And you," the director whirled on his son, "What the fuck kind of department are you running here! Your agents fail to understand and follow through for the bigger picture! The mission must always come first!"
"So I was just supposed to focus on Cross and let all those kids be murdered," Takano spoke for the first time.
"He was your asset; you were supposed to keep him alive, not run around the building trying to find a non-existent a bomb to protect some kids that were at the hotel," the director turned back to Takano.
"So when it comes down to it, protect and follow through on the mission, and damn the massive casualties," Takano narrowed his eyes.
The director placed his hands on the desk in front of Takano and leaned down, narrowing his own eyes, "Absolutely."
Silenced rained after this comment. It took Isaka san several seconds to recover and clear his throat, "Ahem, Takano san, did the guy who's doing this give you his name or can you give us a description of him?"
Takano looked at them, "What am I going to do," he thought.
When Takano finally walked out of the office, Isaka san whirled on his father. "What the hell was that!"
"You know I was just about to ask you that," the director shot back. "Your agents are…"
"Are human, yes you've already established your feelings about that. However, if I had been in Takano san position I would have done the exact same thing," Isaka san cut in.
"You're far too lenient on your subordinates," the director hissed. "What are you stupid?"
"What," asked Isaka san shocked.
"You must have noticed," his father glared. "All the assets murdered who were handled by Hotaru Shuusei, there is no hacker on the planet capable of assessing those records because the necessary clearance level is so high. You've got a mole!"
"What?"
"I know you know the language I'm speaking. You need to tighten the leash on all of your subordinates. That Takano san, you know when you asked him about our bad guy he lied saying everything leading up to the bombing is a blur. He could be the mole. He probably knows who is doing this and is covering theirs and his collective asses."
"Takano san is no traitor," Isaka san responded shrilly.
"And what about those agents that were connected to the apprehension of Haitani san, Luka and Komamiura Seiji? They were very upset about the deal Haitani received. Isn't it possible one of them were angry enough to betray us?" Isaka just stared at his father shocked.
Takano sighed as he walked through the halls before pausing to lean against a wall and close his eyes. He realized that the director was not fooled one bit with his lie about the "bad guy." He just wanted to keep Onodera safe, but he also wanted to save all of the assets that Onodera was going to kill. "If I can just talk to Ritsu in private maybe I… I don't know," he thought.
"Takano san," called a voice in the hall. Takano san opened his eyes to see one of his nameless coworkers that he always saw around the office. "We just got the chemical composition of the bomb back from the hotel. Luka said you had resources you could use to track down who might have manufactured it and shipped it to."
Takano nodded and reached for the file. "Thank you," he breathed before turning and walking away and opening the file. "The materials that composed the bomb are fairly exotic. I know one person who will have information about this," Takano thought as he scanned through the list of materials.
"Takano san," another voice called out to him. Takano looked up to see his friend, Yokozawa Takafumi storming towards him, "Are you okay," he asked concern clearly evident in his azure eyes. Yokozawa was in charge of the East Asia Commerce Distribution Center of Shade, meaning he was Seiji's boss.
Takano quirked the corner of his lips, after the disaster two years ago, Yokozawa had appeared and really helped keep Takano's bum in gear. Had Takano still been a teenager, Takano was fairly sure he would have fallen apart again like the first time Onodera had disappeared. "Hey Yokozawa, yeah I'm fine. Few cracked ribs, nothing I can't handle," he replied.
"Really? You look like shit," Yokozawa cried.
"This coming from the guy who looks like a pissed off mother bear," Takano responded in kind. Yokozawa continued to look at him concerned. "I'm serious, I'm fine," Takano reassured.
"Really, because I can tell something is bugging you. Is there anything I can do to help in any way?"
They entered the office and made their way over to Takano's desk. "I don't know Takafumi, do you have a time machine?"
"Time machine? Masamune what happened?"
"Didn't you hear I let an asset die in that bombing," Takano responded as he opened the drawer of his desk.
"I know it's more than that. Masamune please talk to me."
Takano sighed, "Takafumi, I appreciate your concern but I haven't even sorted out it all out yet. Just give me some time."
Yokozawa continued to look at Takano with concern, "You know I'd do anything to help you," he said softly.
Takano smiled before replying, "You'd better not let Kirishima san hear you say that."
"I mean as a friend! I know our relationship two years ago was simply a rebound for you, but we are still friends. AND I HAVE MOVED ON!"
Takano grinned widely. "You know, you make it way too easy to tease you," Takano replied before reaching into his desk and grabbing a small wrapped gift. "Here, give this to Hiyori chan and wish her a happy birthday for me."
Yokozawa nodded before taking the package and walking away. Takano watch him walk away. Yokozawa and he had actually been friends in college but after both had really gotten involved with their respective agencies, they fell out of contact. When the events of two years ago happened and Yokozawa had found out Takano worked at Shade and what had happened, Yokozawa had tracked Takano down to find him in a bar passed out. As a result, Takano had received the lecture of his life. Yokozawa was truly motherly.
They had slept together for maybe a month before both figured out it wasn't healthy for either of them as both of them wanted more than the other couldn't provide or be. That was when Takano had to start traveling with Haitani and Yokozawa had found or rather Kirishima had found Yokozawa. Takano still didn't know all the details of how they had met or of their relationship but Takano was happy to see Yokozawa was so happy.
"Well, Yokozawa did help briefly. He did help me forget for a short period of time my problems," Takano thought sadly before reaching into his desk again to grab a bag of Kisses candies. "I need to focus and go talk to my source," he smirked.
Ritsu sighed as he glanced over at Nico sleeping peacefully next to him. Ritsu sighed as he glanced up at his hands that were handcuffed to the headboard of the bed. He could never understand why Nico always liked to handcuff him but Ritsu did have to admit that having the part of his body that functions restrained was an odd turn on for him now. "Wonder when that happened," he thought to himself as he began to twist his wrists in order to get out of the cuffs.
After a few minutes and some more twists his wrists were free. He managed to catch the cuffs before they clattered to the floor. He cautiously looked over at Nico when Nico stirred. However, Nico simply shifted his weight to the side. Ritsu carefully grabbed his chair and pulled his body into it. The cold metal jolted against his naked body causing Ritsu to breathe a breath of surprise. He took one last glance over at Nico before wheeling himself out of the bedroom.
As he entered the hallway he reached into the side pocket of his chair to grab his phone and press for the speed dial. As the phone on the other end rang, Onodera glanced back into the room to see if Nico had noticed his absence.
"Hello," answered a voice on the other end of the phone.
"Hey it's me," responded Ritsu, "Have you found out anything about the data I sent you?"
"Most of the numbers are for hospitals and other doctors. However, there was one number that was for a private satellite phone and I haven't been able to trace it yet."
"So that number could belong to the guy Nico is answering too," Ritsu responded thoughtfully.
"Give me a few more days and I should know more for you. You really think Nico was sent to spy on you though?"
"Wouldn't you send someone to spy on an enemy/former enemy?"
"I suppose so," the voice answered before hanging up. Ritsu sighed again before putting the phone back in the side pocket and wheeling back into the room. He carefully maneuvered his body back onto the bed and re-handcuffed himself to the headboard.
He sighed in relief just as Nico shifted again and wrapped his arms around Ritsu's torso. Ritsu glanced down in time to see Nico open his sapphire blue eyes.
"Hey," Nico smiled. "Couldn't sleep?"
"Well it's a little hard when…" Ritsu trailed off as he shook his hands.
"Well I need you to wear those so you don't get away," Nico grinned teasingly. "But I can't help you get to sleep by wearing you out further." Nico began to painstakingly crawl up Ritsu's chest, trailing kisses up Ritsu's abdomen as he went. However, at soon as Nico reached the crook of Ritsu's neck, he bit down hard, causing Ritsu to moan in pleasure. That's when Nico moved to Ritsu's lips and kissed him there.
Nico thrust his tongue into Ritsu's mouth and biting his lips, completely dominating Ritsu's oral cavity, while moving his hands away from Ritsu's body to grab something. There heavy breathing began to fill the room, followed by each other's moans. However, Ritsu fully began to cry out in ecstasy when Nico wrapped his belt around Ritsu's neck and began to strangle him while he continued to kiss Ritsu.
"Aww, ahhh… Nico," Ritsu choked out. "Oh god yes," he thought as he the edges of his vision began to black out at the edges. "Ahh… haa…oh god…yes, aww."
Ritsu could barely see Nico's panting face as he tried to achieve climax. Nico, for his part, had already entered Ritsu and begun to tighten the belt around Ritsu's neck even more. "Almost… there," Nico rasped. "AWW," he cried as he climax. He could here Ritsu cry out and try to gasp for air as he had the belt tighten to point that no air could enter Ritsu's air pipe. Nico watched as Ritsu's eyes darkened as he fell into unconsciousness. He quickly removed the belt then and checked for a pulse before sighing. "Still breathing."
He gazed down at Ritsu's face and touched the bruise on Ritsu's neck while smiling. He was going to have a lot of fun when Ritsu regained consciousness as he reinserted himself into Ritsu and wrapped the belt back around Ritsu's neck.
So that's the update I hope you all enjoyed. I hope I've got all of you wondering who the mole is, who Onodera is talking to, and who Nico is. So many questions, I hope they'll keep you interested.
