Love Story Chapter 2: Play Date

"I can't wait to go to the Kids Next Door Arctic Base!" Smiled Hoagie with excitement.

"Abby thinks so to." Said Abby.

"See you guys tomorrow at the bus stop." Said Nigel walking away.

"Abby needs to go to her own house to get some shut eye." Said Abby walking away too.

"Ya me too." Said Hoagie following Abby.

"Ya got to go."said Wally blushing at Kuki. They live across from each other so they have to walk together but they don't know that.

Kuki started walking down the street passing her friends house. Suddenly she realized that Wally was following her.

"Why are you following me?" Asked Kuki putting her hands, on her hips.

"I'M NOT FOLLOWING YOU OI AM GOING TO MY HOUSE WHICH IS ONE OF THE LAST HOUSES ON THIS STREET!" Yelled Wally.

Kuki bursted out crying.

"Don't cry." Said Wally putting his hand on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry for saying you followed me but my house is one if the last ones too and I thought you were following me." Said Kuki sniffling and whipping her eyes.

"I'm sorry for yelling at ya."

"That's ok maybe our houses are across from each other."

The two friends walked together to their houses. Wally looked at Kuki's eyes and smiled. Kuki looked back at Wally as Wally quickly turned his back facing forward. At the corner of his eyes he could tell that Kuki was staring at him with a smile. Then Wally looked at Kuki face to face. Kuki looked into Wally's eyes as Wally looked into her's.

They were staring in each others' eyes which seemed like for ever.

"Uh sorry... I got to go." Smiled Kuki as she ran to hr front door.

"Um see ya tomorrow I guess." Wally said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Bye Wally. See you tomorrow." Said Kuki running up to Wally and giving him a hug.

Kuki went in to her house leaving Wally outside by himself.

Wally's POV

Wow she is amazing. I CAN'T BELIEVE OUR HOUSES ARE RIGHT ACROSS FROM EACH OTHER! I wonder if she likes me. No she likes stupid cruddy rainbow monkeys. But whatever it's not like she will make me watch a rainbow monkey movie or tv show.

I walked in the house and saw my mom standing at the door with a smirk plastered across her face.

"Who was that?" She said Smirking.

"Who?" I asked pretending to not know who she was talking about, plus I was trying to not have eye contact.

"That girl you were hugging." She said still having a smirk.

"Oh um that is my friend Kuki."

"Oooo wawy has a gwil fwiend." Laughed My 3 year old brother named Joey.

"WE ARE JUST FRIENDS!" I yelled.

"Sure. . . Are you gonna go out or something?" Taunted Joey with a smirk.

"You two stop fighting!" Yelled my mom.

"Ok!" Joey and I quickly said in a unison.

"Joey go to the kitchen and eat some gummy bears." Mrs. Beatles said.

"Yay!" Joey Screeched.

"So he doesn't cause any trouble." Mrs. Beatles added.

"Ok. . . I'm going now. . ." I said walking away.

"Come back here Mr.." Mrs. Beatles said.

"What mom!" I moaned.

"This girl u were with. . ."

"We're just friends!" I started to get impatient that I practically almost screamed.

"Do you like her?" She asked with a smirk.

"NO OI DON'T LIKE HER!" I screamed stomping away.

"TELL ME THE TRUTH HONEY."

"NO AND DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

"Wally please tell me ill. . .let you go with your dad to the wrestling match." She said in a groaning voice.

"Fine I kinda do but don't tell anyone." I said quietly that she could barely here me.

She smirked and said,"What's that I didn't here you."

"I LIKE HER NOW LEAVE ME ALONE!" Then I ran to my bedroom and dove onto my bed. There is a big wrestling picture of by my bed.

I'm like in love with wrestling just like Kuki is with rainbow monkeys. But thank God that its much better and not cruddy or stupid like rainbow monkeys.

Well I have a window next to my bed and it has a really good view of her house.

Hey look its Kuki outside with her little sister mushi! I think I might wanna go out side and maybe if she wants to she can come over maybe to swim in our little pool with me and maybe we can watch a movie after.

"Hey mom can I go outside and play in the front yard?" I asked

She looked outside and smirked,"Sure sweetie."

"Thanks mom." I said as I ran out the door with my baseball.

Kuki's POV

I opened the door and walked in but before I walked I decided to go give him a hug so I did then I ran in. I closed the door behind and peeked out the window seeing Wally walking over to his house. I turned and saw mushi standing right in front of me holding her hot pink rainbow monkey with a curious look on her face.

"Who was that?" She asked.

"Oh that's my friend Wally, I met him today."

"Cool hey do u want to go out swide?"

"Sure wanna have a rainbow monkey tea party?" I asked.

"Sure." She answered.

So I ran up to my room and grabbed my super salute rainbow monkey, my doctor rainbow monkey, and my rainbow monkey that looks like me. I started to think for a minute or two.

Do I like him? I don't know if I do. . . Yeah I do like him! He is so cute and all but what I really like him because he is nice. . . Well sometimes anyways.

I stopped thinking realizing that my sister is waiting to go out side for that rainbow monkey tea party.

So I skipped down the hall to the staircase and hopped down the stairs and ran out side.

"Sorry I took so long I-I was looking for my. . . Special rainbow monkey." I said with a fake smile.

"Huh-uh." She said with a smirky look on her face,"You were thinking about your friend."

"Ya I was." I said in a dreamy kinda way.

Finally we started to play with our rainbow monkeys.

No POV

Wally ran out his door into his front yard. Joey peeked around the corner from the kitchen and ran after his older brother.

"Wawy oim comin too!" Yelled his brother running out side.

"Joey why you following me?" Whispered Wally angrily.

"OI wanted to come!" Yelled Joey.

"SSSHHHHH! Fine." Whispered Wally angrily again," just be quiet. Now can u close the door quietly?" asked his brother walking along behind the car peeking around the corner.

"Ok!" Screeched Joey as he slammed the door.

Both Mushi and Kuki quickly looked at him with Kuki raising her eyebrow at Wally.

"Hi Wally whatcha doin?" Asked Kuki curiously.

"Emmmmm well I'm just uhh. . . Playin um. . . Baseball." Hesitated Wally.

"It's obvwious he wanted to see you." Smirked Mushi.

"Ya!" Smirked Joey suddenly noticing Mushi.

Mushi looked at Joey and just stared."Who is that?"

"You mean who are you?" Joey asked scratching his head.

"I asked you fwirst." She said smiling at him.

"Fine oim Joey wawy is my bwother."

"I wike your name, my name is Mushi and Kuki is my swister."

Joey and Mushi started blushing while looking at each other. Kuki and Wally were looking at each other in shock but then they started smirking. Mushi walked up to Joey and started whispering in his ear then he started smirking with Mushi.

"WALLY AND KUKI SITTIN IN A TREE, K.I.S.S.I.N.G!" They shouted in a unison.

Kuki and Wally started blushing dark red.

"Look who is talking Joey I can see that you like Mushi." He shot back smirking.

Joey started blushing and stuck out his tongue.

"Wally, Joey, the pool is open." Called Mrs. Beetles.

"Ok mum." answered Wally.

"Hey um Kuki and Mushi do you guys wanna I don't know em. . . Come over and swim." Asked Wally looking at Kuki blushing.

"Ya!" Agreed Joey.

"Let me go ask my mom." Said Kuki running inside.

Kuki's POV

I ran inside the door to find my mom.

"Mom where are you?" I called out.

"I'm in here." answered Mrs. Sanban walking into the room that I was in."what do you need?"

"I was wondering if Mushi and I could go to the new neighbor's house to swim?"

"Sure! Kani come, we are going to the new neighbor's house!" She called.

"Ok!" Answered Mr. Sanban as he came into the room.

"Wait you guys are comin too?" I asked.

"Of course we would like to meet then." Said Mrs. Sanban joyfully.

"Ok."

So they walked out of there house.

Wally's POV

"Mom can my friend and her sister come and swim?" I called.

"Yes honey but hurry its getting late." She answered.

"Ok thanks and DON'T CALL ME THAT!" I yelled frowning while stomping back out side.

No POV

Kuki came running back out side,"My mom said we can come over."

"Great come on." Said Wally.

The kids went over to the house hold of the beetles.

"Hi you must be Gloria and Sid Beatles." Said shaking Mrs. Beatles hand.

"Great day we havin eh?" Mr. Beatles asked shaking Mr. Sanban's hand.

Kuki ran over to Wally and squealed," WALLY!" She jumped right into his arms and squeezed him.

Wally and Kuki's parents took pictures. Both Kuki and Wally started blushing crazily.

Mushi walked up to Joey and said," Hi Joey." She started blushing.

"Hey Mushi" He answered blushing putting his arms behind his back.

"Who wants to go swimming?" Asked Mrs. Beatles cheerfully.

"Me!" All the kids said in a unison.

Wally grabbed Kuki's hand and they both ran outside to the pool together. Mushi and Joey ran outside faster than anyone, they ran all the way to the pool and without stopping they jumped while running.

They ran over to the pool then stopped while looking at each other.

"It might be freezing." Kuki said looking at the water.

"Ladies foist." Said Wally with a smirk.

"No you." She said as she pushed wally into the pool. She started laughing her head off.

"Oh you think that was funny eh?" He said smirking.

Suddenly Wally grabbed Kuki's hand and tugged her into the water. Kuki let out a little yelp.

When she came up from under the water the two friends started laughing hard.

Mushi and Joey were at the shallow end watching Kuki and Wally. They both smirked at each other.

It was a couple hours later and everyone decided to go inside and watch a movie while eating popcorn. They all decided to watch Despicable Me 2.

Kuki fell asleep during the movie. She was cuddled next to Wally with her head on his lap. Wally just sat there surprised but then fell asleep too. He had his hand wrapped around her and had his head resting on the couch. They were sitting on the floor in front of the tv.

The adults saw them and took a picture of it. Mushi and Joey were sitting together awake surprisingly.

It was finally time to go and Wally and Kuki woke up. They both quickly started blushing when they found out how they were sitting but they didn't really care.

"Bye Wally." Kuki said smiling.

"Bye Kuki." Responded Wally.

Mushi was getting carried by her dad cus she was so tired to even get up from the couch.

They were walking to there house and Kuki looked back. Wally was still on the porch watching. Kuki quickly ran back and gave him a hug. She pecked his cheek really lightly and then ran back with her parents who were smirking.

Wally just stood there blushing with a smile touching his cheek with his fingers lightly touching it. Then he finally went into his house and went to bed.
