Love Story Chapter 4: Goodbye KND
By: WallyKukiKNDFan
A few years passed and it was finally the day of leaving the KND. It was a sad day for the sector V. Along with them Patton, Fanny, and Rachel were getting decommissioned too. Not far from them leaving, the next year Sonya and Lee would have to also, so they were getting prepared for that.
The door of the large room suddenly opened. A tall, skinny, bald, boy came walking in. "Sir, it's Numbuh one, the best operative there ever was, except Numbuh zero, cus no one can ever be better than him." The replacement for Fanny said.
"What can I help you with Numbuh 1?" The new Supreme leader said.
"Before you decommission my friends, can they be in the Teens Next Door?" Nigel asked.
"Depends on if you and your friends are worthy enough." The supreme leader responded.
"Ay think we deserve sparin our great memories from being operatives." Fanny said with a sigh.
"Abby thinks it would be fun helpin the KND even though we won't be operatives." Abby said.
"And besides I would miss certain people." Kuki said with a tear rolling down her cheek.
"Oh alright. But I will be expecting big things from y'all." The supreme leader said with a smile.
Numbuh 32 untied the teens and said, "I will call the TND's supreme leader and tell them that there are some new operatives joining."
It was set, they were not going to have to get decommissioned and they were able to see each other again.
*A year later*
"The school dance is in a week!" Kuki screeched as she and Abby walked by the big poster hanging in the hallway.
"Abby isn't really interested in school dances. I mean they are fun but getting all dazzled up, it's just not Abby's thing." Abby said shifting her hat.
"Come on, you gotta come with me and Rachel to the dance." Kuki pleaded.
"I don't know." Abby said with a sigh.
"Pretty please with a cherry on top!" Kuki pleaded again.
"Like I said, I don't know."
"PLEASE!" Kuki begged with her cute puppy eyes.
"Fine."
"Yay!" Kuki hugged Abby and skipped away.
Abby just sighed and turned around and walked back to her locker. While Abby walked away sadly, hoagie noticed her and wanted to cheer her up. So hoagie walked up to her. Hoagie is now 15 and he has lost all his baby fat. He is tall and skinny, he still wears the same clothes as he did when he was little, he still wears the goggles but not the hat. He now wears a baseball cap.
"Hey toots what's up?" Haogie said as he leaned against the locker next to her's.
Abby just kept minding her own business.
"Aren't you suppose to smack me with your hat?" Hoagie asked with a frown.
"Abby not in the mood." Abby groaned.
"What's wrong." Hoagie said putting his hand on her shoulder.
"Kuki really wants me to go to the dance with her and Rachel, and I don't want to get all pretty cus it not my thing."
"Why don't you wanna go?"
"I don't know maybe cus Kuki and Rachel would have dates and I would be all by my self." Abby said shutting her locker door.
"Who wouldn't want to go with you? Your a nice, smart, enthusiastic, and your a pretty girl." Hoagie said, "so please be happy for me."
"Ok." Abby said with a smile while blushing. "Thanks." She said giving him a hug.
Abby walked away with a smile on her face, leaving hoagie behind.
Wally's POV
Ugh...why is everyone talkin about the stupid cruddy dance. Even Kuki is talkin about it. Even though I don't like to go I would really like to go with Kuki. I really wanted to tell her how I felt about her, but I've been too nervous or something happens right when I'm about to tell her.
"Hey Wally!" A voice came out of nowhere.
I know that voice from somewhere. Kuki! "Hey Kooks!" I smiled turning around.
"So ya going to the school dance?" She asked.
"I don't know." I said shrugging.
"I hope I get a date cus I don't have one yet." Kuki said with a sigh.
"Hey kooks, maybe I-." Suddenly I got cut off.
"Hey Kuki, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance." A boy came walking over to us.
"Ace." I growled clenching my fists.
Kuki turned and looked at me then at Ace. "Wally was going to ask me something. What was it Wally?" She asked.
"Uh well I was going to ask if uh Hoagie was going." I said with a sigh.
"Um ya he is." Kuki said with a frown.
I turned around and walked away with my hands in my pockets.
"So ya coming or what?" Ace smiled at Kuki.
"Ya I guess." Kuki sighed.
Ace grabbed Kuki and yanked her over to him and kissed her. I came walking back to ask about our homework and I saw them kissing. I just made me so mad. Soi just turned away so that I would burst out in flames. I just kept walking without turning back.
No POV
Rachel was sitting down at a table in the cafeteria. She put down her tray and got a sip of her capreson.
"Hey Rach!" Nigel said sitting down next to her.
"Hey!" Rachel said with a smile.
"So are you going to the dance?" Nigel asked.
"Of course! I'm goin with Kuki and Abby. But Kuki already has a date."
"Oh really who? I bet it's Wally." Nigel smirked.
"No. It's Ace." Rachel said with a frown.
Nigel's smile turned into a frown,"Oh.."
"So are you going with anyone?" Rachel said taking a bite if her nachos.
"No, how about you?"
"No." Rachel answered back.
"Maybe we should go together." Nigel said with a blushing smile.
"Of course I will!" Rachel said hugging Nigel.
Nigel smiled and hugged Rachel back.
"Boys are so stupid." Fanny said she slumped on the floor in the hallway.
"Hey fanny." Patton said as he walked up to her.
"Hey Patton." She said in a low tone.
"Why do ya hate boys so much?" Patton said as he sat down next to her.
Patton secretly has little feelings for her, but he didn't even want to believe it. He always liked her and even when they fought he still liked her. Fanny is the same way. She has a little crush on him and wishes she doesn't, but there is something about him that makes her like him. It's not his looks, nor his actions. He is one of the most popular boys in school. Girls want to date him badly but he never dates them.
Patton is tall and skinny. He wears similar clothes like he did when he was in the KND. He never wears his beany anymore. Some of his bangs cover his eyes, his hair is kind of shaggy.
Fanny is also kind of tall but not as tall as Patton. She still has her hair fizzy, She wears blue jeans, a dark green hoodie, and she wears dark green converse.
"I don't know they just make meh mad." Fanny said as she looked at Patton.
"Please give me a specific reason." Patton said as he moved the hair in front of his face.
"Fine. My parents got divorced when I was a toddler. They got divorced, because meh dad was in a gang, he was a drinker, and he was sleeping with other girls. And then meh mom married Mr. Boss, which is going ok Ay guess." Fanny said with a tear rolling down her cheek.
"Oh I'm so sorry." Patton said wiping the tear from fanny's cheek.
"No it's fine. The reason why I get mad at boys is because I thought all boys are the same, but your fine. I get mad at you because I just got mad at everyone." Fanny said with a slight smile.
"Oh that explains a lot." Patton responded.
"Thanks for being here for me." Fanny said blushing.
"No problem." Patton answered rubbing the back of his neck.
Fanny hugged Patton and got up and walked away.
Patton sat there in awe wishing he had asked her to the school dance. He knew that she probably would say no but he really didnt care, but he decided not to and got up and started to walk away with his hands in his pockets.
It's was the day of the school dance and everyone at school was talking about it. Which made Wally very upset. He wouldn't be as mad if he was going to go with Kuki, but no! Ace was going with Kuki.
"Of all people... Why Ace?" Wally thought in anger squishing his capreesun with his hand.
"What does Ace have anything to do with your life?" Hoagie asked looking confused.
Wally just glared at hoagie.
"Your thinking out loud again." Hoagie said a little scared.
Wally just clenched his fist and looked away with a sigh.
"So what did Ace do this time?"
"He asked Kuki to the dance."
"What she say?"
"Yes. And then I walked away but then I remembered something and was going to ask her about homework but then I saw them kissing." Wally said a little hurt.
"Well maybe you should have stepped up sooner and asked her when you first knew about the dance." Hoagie said eating a block of cheese.
Wally just looked at hoagie with anger in his eyes. Hoagie backed away. Wally just sighed and said, "I don't think I'm gonna go to the dance."
"Cum on Wally. Please. I don't have a date either so you won't be the only one."
"Fine." Wally mumbled getting up from the lunch table.
"Where you going?" Hoagie asked.
"Somewhere by myself." Wally said walking away.
Hoagie just sighed and ate the rest of his lunch.
