Never Listen

Wally was having a tough day. that Bart kid was getting on his nerves. Always talking, jumping, running, whatever was possible for him, he would do.

It all started with a phone call from nightwing pleading him to come over and take Bart. He was running all around, and Barry was out of town so here comes Wally to save the day.

Dick was so going to pay for this.

He had to come in, grab Imp. by his collar, and DRAG HIM OUT OF THERE! How embarrassing is that!

Luckily Bart was so shocked by Wally coming that he stopped what he was doing, looked up at him with those big eyes, and froze. So Wally dragged him home.

Suddenly he just starts talking and talking. Honestly it was getting too annoying. So Wally took the high road at first and said, "Look Bart if you be quiet Ill give you some chicken wizzes.

Bart looked at him in this kicked puppy sort of way and whimpered, "Fine."

Trying to change the subject wally asked, "How school going?"

"Its totally crash, but you know its school."

"Nice." wally summed up while giving Bart his wizzes, "Do you have any friends?"

"No" Bart silently whispered wishing that Wally wouldn't hear. Thankfully, he didn't.

"Fathers day is coming up", Wally said with a slight smile on his face, remembering that he has to get his dad a present.

"Yeah I'm excited to celebrate it for once" Bart quickly looked up at Wally with a look that could make Red Tornado cry.

"Wait, what!' Wally at this point was so confused.

"See that's your problem wally. You never listen." Wally couldn't say anything.

"I have been saying how I lost all my friends and family at the age of 11. I have been tortured, burned, beaten, and many other things. I have been telling you all the times that I saved some one. I have told you all my countless struggles, but to no avail. Bart is always the funny one. Bart isn't the one who lost his father at the age of 2. Bart isn't the one who's broken."

Bart was full out balling right now. "I get that some times you don't want to listen, but can anyone just try."

Wally was left sitting there with a dumbstruck look on his face. While Bart ran off.

Bart was running off to the cave with a look of pure rage. By the time he got there, people were already cleaning up his last mess.

He went up to nightwing and shouted right in his ear "You Never Listen" Nightwing flinched back and see the tears. Now Bart had all the teams attention.

Bart was now clutching his head and screaming "You never listen, YOU NEVER LISTEN."

Robin quickly went behind him and knocked him out. All the team was looking at him worrying. Wally picked the perfect time to run in, run to Bart, and catch him before he fell. He picked him up, nodded at nightwing, and started home.

Back at the house Bart was tucked in bed and Wally was talking to Nightwing.

"Dick what he told me it...it was terrible. No one that young should go through what he did."

"I know Wally, but he's a strong kid hell get through it."

"You're right and I'm definitely doing something more often."

"What's that?"

"I'm going to listen"
