Hey hey hey! *Hides behind a door* Okay, so I would like to apologize for taking so long to update, I will not make any excuses... so here is the chapter, I hope it is able to make up for taking way to long.

Chris was scowling as he made his way to school the next day; his night had been very similar to the last one. The only difference was that his mother hadn't been able to send him to his room before his father had gotten home. He had been yelled at, told to quit with the makeup and act like an actual boy for once in his life. He winced as he situated his bag on his shoulder, the bag bouncing against his side painfully. He wasn't beaten, really, but he made the mistake of making a rather rude sarcastic remark to his father about how his manliness hadn't helped him get the promotion he had wanted, so why should he bother? Michael had punched him. Twice. Once on each side before his mother intervened and managed to send him to bed. He was up half the night listening to their yelling until he finally passed out from exhaustion. He had decided not to listen to music today, his head was hurting him, most likely because he was sent to bed without any food, and he had slept in too late to grab breakfast.

When he did make it to school he wasted no time in making it to his home room, offering Kurt a nod as he sat down, glad that he could finally put his bag down.

"Uh oh... another bad night?" He glanced over to see Kurt watching him worriedly from the seat next to him.

Chris shrugged, running his fingers through his hair. "Well... I did manage a little bit of sleep... just a headache is all."

Kurt nodded, turning in his seat to fully face him, his head tilted slightly as he took a closer look at him. "Maybe you should see the nurse; she might be able to do something about that headache..."

Chris shook his head. "Nah… I'll just wait, see how it is after lunch and if it's still bothering me then I will."

Kurt frowned but nodded, turning to the seat to the other side of him to talk to someone else; Chris noted that it was Mercedes from their Glee club. He sighed, laying his head on his arms as he waited for the bell to ring.

Lunch had helped his head, so now the only thing that was bothering him were the two big bruises on his sides. He didn't want to think about it too much, but he was actually starting to get a little scared that he might have a broken rib. His father might not look it, but he was very strong, and it didn't seem like he was holding back when he landed those punches the night before. For one, it was a little hard to take deep breaths, and the bruises looked really bad already.

Bye the time glee club had rolled around he was in one of his moods again. He sat in the back, for once not next to Kurt, and was glaring at the floor. He heard someone sit next to him and he glanced over to see Noah Puckerman giving him a strange look. "What?"

Puck shrugged, "Nothing, you just seem a bit… pissed off today." He didn't say it as a question, and immediately turned to face the front of the room again. Chris personally thought it was a bit strange, after all Puck had a reputation and whether he was in Glee club or not, he wasn't expecting him to start talking to him.

"Yea. A bit pissed off." Chris glanced down a few rows to see that Kurt was turning around quickly, and sighed, wincing a bit as the deep breath caused his sides to flare up in pain.

Puck, it seemed, noticed his glance at Kurt and his wince. "Wait, does it bother you that Kurt is gay?" Puck seemed to be getting a little angry himself, and it took him a moment to figure out where he would have gotten that idea, and rolled his eyes. "Don't roll your eyes man, Kurt is my friend, I don't like it when my friends are picked on-"Before he could go on Chris had held his hand up.

"Okay, stop, just… stop. First of all, my mood has nothing to do with Kurt. Second of all I have no problem with gay people." By then a few of the others were sneaking glances over to them, he noticed Kurt watching with wide- yet amused- eyes.

"Then why did you wince when you looked at him?" At this Chris froze. He wasn't sure what to say to that, after all he couldn't just say that his dad got mad and decided to smack him around a little could he?

"He had a headache earlier." Puck and Chris both turned their glances over to Kurt. He cleared his throat and continued. "He was complaining about a headache in homeroom, he said he would go to the nurse after lunch if it wasn't better but he obviously didn't." At this Kurt sent him a look, but he ignored it as the door to the Choir room was opened and Mr. Schue walked in with another man.

Chris sat up a little straighter, he had noticed at once that the man was… attractive. In fact he looked like an exact clone of John Stamos, an actor that Chris has always had a bit of a crush on, even before he fully realized what it meant. Turned out the man was a Dentist named Carl. It took him a while to get over the fact that he was so… hot before he could fully understand what was being said.

"All right, here's the deal. You chew this little capsule." He held up a little blue pill looking thing. "Now if there's any plaque you missed, the dye will stick to it and turn your teeth blue."

He nodded his head, he was actually very proud of his teeth; he always had a dream of becoming a performer, maybe in a group like Panic! At the Disco, so he knew he would need good teeth.

Carl was interrupted by Santana raising her hand. "Can I just say that you are the hottest dentist I have ever seen?"

Though Chris silently agreed with her he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest, barely able to hold back a wince when that caused his ribs to flare up again.

He accepted the little capsule, his attention being brought to the front of the room when he noticed-for the first time- the Guidance counselor was in the room, apparently she was dating the attractive dentist and was trying to move the conversation on to something else.

He did pay attention though when Kurt raised his hand and started talking. "Before we chew, I would just like to alert Mr. Schue that there's been another addition to the Brittany Spears Facebook campaign."

"Sorry. The answer's still no." Mr. Schue looked like he was getting a little annoyed, but Chris shrugged. "Capsules guys!"

Chris shrugged and chewed his capsule, rolling his eyes at the Guidance Councilor's overly enthusiastic encouragement. He glanced around at the others showing their teeth, doing the same, the smile, while he did so often in the past, felt rather forced. Though that did change to a genuine smile when they discovered Rachel panicking over her blue teeth.

He had to admit though, he was actually concerned for Brittany, and he glanced at Puck, furrowing his brows. "Is she...? " He trailed off, not sure how to say what exactly was on his mind. Puck nodded.

"Yea, but dude, she puts out for like… anyone." He replied quietly, not noticing the look that Chris shot him.

The club meeting wrapped up quickly after that, he wasn't actually sure why they had to go through that but he wasn't complaining, he was on his way through the parking lot when his arm was grabbed and he was pulled back toward the building, he rolled his eyes as he noticed it was a few of the football players. "Well, well, well what do we have here?" Chris sighed, glancing between the two Jocks. If it isn't the newest member of Homo Explosion." The one closest said he was the white one; he wasn't sure on his name though. The other one, the dark skinned one laughed and cracked his knuckles.

"Okay, first of all, you are being one of the most cliché bullies I have ever seen. Second of all if you are referring to the fact that I am in the Glee-"he was cut off as something very cold, sticky, and purple his face, dripping all over his clothes and dripping into his eyes. He heard their laughter as they walked away and he slid down the side of the building slowly. He was pissed off and ready to snap at anything, so when he heard a gasp and hurried footsteps coming towards him he tensed up.

"Oh my gosh! Chris! Are you okay?" He frowned, recognizing Kurt's voice almost immediately. He laughed weakly. "Well... now you are officially a member of Glee..." he trailed off as Chris stood up roughly. Making a bee line towards his route home. "Wait! At least let me help you get cleaned up!"

Chris turned sharply, roughly swiping his hair out of his eyes. "Why? So that I can give the jocks more ammo?!" Kurt stopped suddenly frowning and a certain look that Chris couldn't exactly place came into his eyes. Chris sighed, walking back over to Kurt slowly and rubbing the back of his neck. He knew he wasn't being fair, and Kurt was just trying to help. "Sorry… just everything is just so fucked up today."

Kurt nodded, motioning to his car. "Come with me, I have some extra clothes in my car and we can go to one of the bathrooms to wash your hair out."

Chris nodded his head and followed after Kurt, "Thanks… I'm not sure my mom would appreciate it if I came home like this…" He frowned to himself, he noticed today that he seemed to be out of breath when he spoke, and by the confused look on Kurt's face he noticed it too.

"Yea…" he opened the back of the Navigator and pulled out a bag that seemed to be filled with a towel and a change of clothes, he also grabbed a couple bottles that he noticed to be shampoo and conditioner before he closed the back of the car again. "So, let's get you cleaned up."

K/C..K/C K/C..K/C

They were in one of the girl's bathrooms; apparently it was safer to get cleaned up here than the boy's because the jocks would only make matters worse if they caught someone washing off their hard work. "Mind telling me why you seem to be out of breath today?"

Kurt was currently washing out Chris' hair and Chris had to admit that he rather liked the way Kurt's fingers moved over his scalp. It took him a minuet before he realized that he was asked a question and shrugged. Hoping that Kurt wouldn't push the issue he went back to enjoying the moment, really... he was a gay teenager having another gay teenager wash his hair out in rather... close proximity.

"It's just... you've been acting odd all day…" Kurt went on, he was rinsing his hair out now, and Chris was fighting the urge to let out a very… inappropriate noise. "You didn't sleep the other night... breathless today... moodswings… "By then his hair was rinsed so Kurt turned the water off, wringing out his friend's hair.

Chris stood up straight and rand his fingers through his wet hair, he groaned when he noticed his eyeliner was running down his face. "Yikes... " He glanced over to Kurt, grinning when he saw the other boy was barely holding back his laughter.

"Okay, let's get you changed at least into a different shirt." Kurt pulled out the shirt of the spare outfit he had in the bag, holding it up for Chris. It was actually pretty tame, considering it came from Kurt. It was a stripped button up that was long sleeved.

He grinned, nodding as he started unbuttoning his –now purple- shirt. He paused when he noticed that the slushy had stained his undershirt as well. "Great..." Kurt looked up at him and held a hand up to his mouth to cover a laugh.

"Tough luck, come on, faster you get changed the faster I can take you home." Chris nodded his head, crossing his arms so that he could pull the undershirt up over his head, unable to hold back when he cried out because of his ribs, having momentarily forgotten about them.

Kurt's eyes widened as he rushed over to him, gasping as he noticed the bruises on his sides. "Oh my gosh! Chris! What the hell happened..?"

Chris was currently trying to get his breath back, shaking his head as he grabbed at the button up shirt from his friends hands, trying to get in on as quick as he could, while Kurt was watching him, not sure what to do at the moment. "Don't worry about it Kurt. It's none of your business." He grabbed his messenger bag from the floor, turning to his friend who was still kneeling on the floor, looking up at him. "I'll wash the shirt and bring it back tomorrow." He rushed from the bathroom, ignoring Kurt's yells for him to stop.

Okay everyone! That is it for now! and you should notice the little... button down there... it says... REVIEW! please?
