Chapter II – The Difference
"Can you hear me, will you please listen to me Minoru, it's time to wake up, wake up from this eternal slumber of which you have entered."
Minoru is numb, he shakes his head, then he looks down onto the floor, he doesn't seem capable of even thinking. With all he has got he tries to look straight. He sees Yuziki, she is wearing almost nothing, almost completely naked. Blood is dripping down from her fingers, her chin is covered in blood, it looks fresh. In her hands she is carrying a knife. The knife is like her, covered in blood and dripping with it. Minoru tries to talk, but isn't able to, his mouth has this time around been glued together.
Yuziki slowly walks over to Minoru sits down and gazes into his eyes, she doesn't say anything but Minoru can clearly see the sadness from within the strings of her eyes. As Yuziki gazes at Minoru someone next to her looks at Minoru.
"The time has come, my dear specimen, this is only the beginning for you, but this is the end for your dear sister, or well your built sister haha."
Tears fall from Yuziki's eyes, even though that really isn't possible, and as she gazes into his eyes the man next to Yuziki cuts off her head. Minoru unable to do anything faints right in front of the man, and the only thing he hears is what the man utters just before he faints.
"My sweet specimen, the hunt has begun, this is only the beginning, you are my final and most precious specimen, but before I begin operating more on you, there is the matter of what is left behind, because nothing can be left behind."
A Couple Of Days Later –
Minoru slowly regains his consciousness, he doesn't feel weak, and he can even talk. Standing in a room he doesn't quite know what happened. He tries to open the door to the outside of the room but it's locked. The room doesn't appear to have any windows.
After having tried to find a way to escape, he sits down on a chair. A table have been filled with a lot of food, he is clearly starving, and he quickly starts to eat. He doesn't seem to recall anything that has transpired during the last days or even weeks. His memory has somehow been wiped clear, like someone wanted to give him amnesia.
Suddenly Minoru hears the door being unlocked and there appears a woman. She looks quite young and she is wearing nurse attire. He quickly asks her where he is, and where Yuziki is, explaining to the nurse that Yuziki, his sister would always be with him.
The Nurse doesn't say anything, it's like she doesn't even notice that Minoru is standing right in front of her. He once again tries to ask her, this time around however she leans close to him and slowly whispers "Wake Up!"
Minoru doesn't know what she is talking about, or what is going on, he tries and tries to ask and ask her, she still doesn't react. Trying one more time, Minoru says to the nurse that something is terribly wrong and that he cannot remember anything. This time around the nurse gazes deeply into Minoru's eyes and then pushes him down onto the ground.
" Stop fucking dreaming you dumbass, wake up, this is only a nightmare, stop this charade, wake up now, this is all fake, wake up!"
Minoru quickly faints and wakes up in a hospital bed, the bed is filled in dark red blood, a doctor is standing next to the bed and talking with a nurse.
The Doctor" How long has he been out for?"
The Nurse" Probably a few weeks."
The Doctor" Prep him for extra surgery, he still doesn't quite get what is going on, he doesn't even recall the brutal murdering of his real sister, everything has been leading to this, yet he is still as clueless as ever."
Minoru can't really see who the doctor is or even the nurse, all he can see is unclear pictures of two people, his hearing works, but they are probably also going to take that away from him. His mouth is glued together as before, and over in the corner of the room the head of Yuziki has been placed, almost like it was placed there as a sick joke. The face has been placed in the correct spot, it's like Yuziki is staring right into Minoru's eyes.
The rest of her body parts have been placed across the floor, and the walls have been painted with her blood. Minoru tries to turn his gaze away from her face, but the doctor notices it and whispers into his ears that he shouldn't take his gaze away, as if he does, it will be the last time he will ever see her sweet face again. Then he smiles and brings in someone Minoru knows too well, there she stands, she gazes at Minoru and Minoru looks shocked. Then she walks away from the hospital room and Minoru slowly faints.
Some Time Later –
"Oh so you are here again are you? Well Minoru I hope you are slowly getting wiser, slowly realizing what is going on, or maybe you aren't, maybe you think all this is a sick joke, well who knows."
Minoru is back in the white place, there is a door and the man who was there earlier is now talking to Minoru, instead of asking the man what's going on thinking it would be a waste Minoru instead runs towards the only door the room has. Just before he enters the room the man utters the last words Minoru would ever hear.
"Time has almost come, time will always catch up to you, in the end time is all. Behind the door lies your fate, lies your future, there are still some time, but time has almost reached your ultimate conclusion, everything will be revealed, you just have to be patient."
Minoru runs out of the door and the white room disappears, he enters a dark bloody corridor, there are sticks, all fitted with heads of people he loved. He stops moving as he sees the head of Yuziki perfectly fitted on a stick. Her skin has turned a different color and her eyes are bright white. As he gazes into her eyes he falls to the ground and sees a doctor and a nurse carrying him, and this is where he faints one last time.
