(Becca's POV)
I hummed to myself as I approached the lair. I had been friends with the turtles for months now, and loved visiting them. Mikey had called me earlier asking, well begging, me to pick up some pizza so I decided to make them some homemade pizza. After making the pizza and putting in a pizza box I just happened to have, despite hating pizza with a passion, I made my way to the lair. When I arrived, I noticed the guys were gone.
"Good evening, Rebecca." I turned and noticed Master Splinter.
"Evening, master Splinter."
"I am sorry that Michelangelo pretty much forced you here."
"Don't worry about it, I was actually planning to come over, pizza or not. Where are the boys?"
"They are in Hashi."
"What'd they do this time?"
"Snuck out to go see a movie." I shook my head and sighed. Why'd those boys always have to get in trouble when I stopped by.
"How long will they be in there?" I knew the hashi was the punishment Splinter gave them. I wasn't surprised that they were in there considering they're just like any other teenage boys.
"What time is it now?" I pulled out my iPod and turned it on to check.
"6:45."
"I'll go get them." Splinter disappeared into the hashi room but I could still hear him tell the boys hashi was over and that I was Mikey's footsteps, I grabbed the pizza box and tossed it to him like a discus. The box hit him right in the head.
"Did I die and go to heaven?"
"Mikey get up." I could see him gaze over at me and i nearly got tackled into a hug.
"Becca! You're here!"
"Splinter didn't tell you?"
"Idk."
"Either way, let go, I can barely breathe." I finally got my lungs back after Mikey let go of me.
"I don't see why you called April instead of me?"
"I wanted to see you, that's why."
"Makes sense." I wasn't good in the least of dealing with affection and all, so I always tried to wing it.
"Good Mikey didn't eat all the pizza."
"Hey Leo." He looked up and smiled before grabbing the pizza box off the floor and tossing it on the table, making it land perfectly and the lid come off.
"The pizza's uneaten? Shocker."
"Haha, very funny Raph."
"He was too busy hugging his girlfriend." I merely raised an eyebrow, crossing my arms across my chest as Mikey's face turned red.
"DON!" Leo sent me a knowing wink before grabbing a piece of pizza, Raph and Don following. I immediately figured out that there was something going on I didn't know about.
"Alright Mike, what's going on?" He felt his face turn red which got me curious since he never acted like this around April.
"Well…..IreallyreallyloveyoumorethanaprilorevenmorethanfriendsandIwantyoutobemygirl…" I surprisingly understood every word of that but I still couldn't comprehend it.
"Mikey slow down."
"Well ..I really really love you, more than April, or even more than friends and I want you to be my girl..." He trailed off blushing and I smiled. Grabbing his skateboard, I ran out the room
"I'll go on a date with you if you can catch me."
"Hey no fair." As I skated through the sewers, I could hear his footsteps loudly behind me. I only stopped when I lost control of the board . Landing, I saw the foot ninja with electric batons and I mutedly gulped. I got ready to take them on when something suddenly knocked them back.
"Now when's my date?"
"You didn't catch me." I threw a smoke bomb and ran off before the smoke went away.
