Normal POV

"This new development will help increase income."

Lucy Heartfilia, the next CEO to the Heartfilia Konzern, was presently in deep thought as she focused her attention on her father, who was presenting on a large white board, with different assortments of charts and graphs.

She was seated at the head of the long, glass table, where many other important businessmen were seated. Each were donned in expensive crisp and ironed black tailor suits, that were probably sewn in some foreign European country. The long table was in the center of the room, each edge equal distance to a side of the room. A large window took up an entire side of the room, giving a view of the city below. Light filtered in through the glass, casting its warm glow on the meeting.

Currently, Lucy was probably one of the few who were paying attention to the presentation by the CEO, as she was occasional taking notes and giving comments. Many of the businessmen's attention revolved particularly around Lucy, herself.

Most were secretly gazing at her with lust-filled eyes and perverted intentions. After all, Lucy was a goddess; long, golden blonde hair fell past her shoulders and reached her back, her bangs framed her perfectly heart-shaped face, hazel brown eyes shined with youth and intelligence, her lips were a rosy pink, courtesy of a simple chap stick. And finally, her body.

She had wide hips and a tiny waist, giving her a very curvaceous look, she had smooth, slender legs, and a huge chest that drew more attention than needed. Lucy, herself was probably Aphrodite in the flesh. Every man within a one mile radius would be insane if they didn't take an opportunity to lay eyes on the beauty.

Meanwhile, Lucy wasn't even aware of all the attention she was receiving.

"I now conclude this meeting." Jude Heartfilia stated calmly, as he looked to his assistant for papers.

Lucy gracefully grabbed all her notes and made her way towards her father. She then pulled out a packet of documents and handed them to the CEO.

"Here are the papers you wanted me to complete, father."

"Ah, yes, thank you. You can take off the rest of the day if you want, Lucy, for all of your hard work." He then turned back to his assistant, and Lucy then strolled to the door way, eager to return to her cozy office. As she reached the doorway, many brave businessmen came up to flirt with her. This became a usual occurrence to Lucy, and it extremely annoyed her.

"Wow Ms. Lucy you look nice today."

"Good work handing in those papers, as usual."

"You did amazing work at the meeting today."

"Would you like to go out to dinner some time?"

With each compliment, she walked a little faster, away from the crowd of people who were still shooting out compliments. Her patience was running thin and her anger was growing fast. Lucy then forced a smile and shot back a few quick thank you's, before rushing into her office. There she was quickly greeted by the scent of vanilla and strawberries, calming her nerves. She quickly slammed the door behind her and approached her desk before sitting down on her leather chair.

"Geez, does that have to happen every single day?" she asked herself, annoyed by the bombardment of flirts.

She leaned back, breathing out a sigh of relief before gazing around her office. Her gaze landed on a small picture by the edge of her desk. She smiled softly at the picture, before turning away. Seeing that everything else was in order, she nodded her head and placed some folders on her desk.

She then quickly grabbed the newspaper article on her desk, The Magnolia Times, eager for something interesting to read. She flipped open the page and scanned the paper until something caught her eye.

"Fairy Tail Saves the Day Again!"

"Recently, a robbery involving hostages occured in downtown Magnolia. 5 onlookers were shot and injured, but none were killed. Witnesses say that 2 armed men burst into the bank, demanding 1 million dollars in cash. They soon received the money, but policemen arrived at the scene before they could escape. They grabbed a nearby lady and ran out the back door, taking her hostage. Police and the SWAT team swarmed the area, but could not locate the two men. But, soon, the two men were delivered bloodied and bruised by masked superhero Titania..."

Lucy continued to read the article with disbelief. For all she knows, he whole thing could just be some fake scam to receive attention. She got up and walked towards her window, the article still in her hand. She shook her head, not believing a single word in the article. People with supernatural powers couldn't exist, it just defied logic. Super powers like invisibility, super-speed, telekenesis, or even fire, just existed in movies and books. There was no possible, logical way to obtain those powers.

Lucy sighed and dropped the paper on her desk, wondering how people these days could be so gullible. Superheroes DON'T exist. She turned away from the large glass window to sit down again, still mentally complaining about the idiots that believe this kind of thing.

But, from the exact moment she turned away, a red figure flew by her window in a blur, wrapped up in his own thoughts.

Man, the chick's gonna kill me if I'm late for the date.
