October 4th

Diamonds once sparkled from your wrist

The rays of the sun reflected off the deep oak wood

You never thought that you would be this missed

It's a shame because you were the only one not from the hood

What he did to you can NEVER, EVER be dismissed!

You did everything by the book; you were always doing good

I know when it happened God couldn't help but hiss

It probably happened because someone misunderstood

I feel like I am sitting in a black, cold abyss

This empty, lonely, red, blue and peaceful feeling is something I never thought I would,

Have when it came to you. Just one last time can I rewind this?

Tears drip as I think I wish I could

You wouldn't want me to feel this way. You were so full of bliss

Your presence could be felt from everywhere I stood

Just remember this…you I will always miss

And I will always continue to admire your wisdom while I sit and reminisce

Goodbye me good friend, as I gaze at you from afar
