Confronting Prospit's Queen / The Knight of Doom
Orthel made several sharp turns as the damp tunnel walls rushed past. I kept my head on his shoulder to avoid his horns, which I still thought were quite large. I closed my eyes for a brief moment, and that was yet another mistake. I hadn't realized just how exhausted I was. I instantly fell asleep.
Flashback
"DaddY!" I squealed as he came back through the towering trees. The lake and trees smelled fresh due to the recent rain. His black cloak was blowing in the wind as his head turned to me. His frown turned into a wide grin at the sight of me. He kneeled on one knee to make up for the difference in height. Even though he was kneeling, he was still easily taller than me.
"sarona, it's good to see you." He spoke gently. I ran to him and hugged him as best as my small arms could. "Are you ready?" He inquired. I nodded eagerly in reply, excited to see what he had in store. "follow me." He stood and his cloak flourished. My fourth wriggling day was that day. I quickly strode beside him as he tried not to take big steps. He offered a light grey hand as his pointed white teeth curved into a grin. He chuckled at my attempts of keeping up. Suddenly, I was up in the air. I gasped, not sure what happened, until I realized that he had put me on his back. I giggled with delight, excited at the new view. I could see two, if not three times as far as I could before. I rested my head on his shoulder so that I could still see his face, which was still grinning. We continued in this fashion for a while enjoying each others company.
The smile disappeared as he put me down. I looked questioningly at him, confused. His head looked from left to right. I listened as well, assuming that's what he was doing. That's when I heard it: soft shuffling. "i don't have much time left…." He softly spoke to himself. "Sarona, you must learn to trust others than myself. don't panic. Remember that." For the first time, he looked me in the eye so that I could see his. They were a brilliant shade of violet mixed with grey, the average adult troll's eye. That's when I realized it. He was a high-blood.
Just as soon as I saw it, he was gone.
End Flashback
I bolted off the stack of books I was sitting in. My eyes shot open and I realized where I was. "Prospit…" I sat back down, blood pumping. I looked out the window that was nearby. I sighed and tried to calm myself. "Just a dream…." I put my head in my right hand, something that I rarely did since I was left-handed. I stood after a while, deciding to just stare out the window. The blinding gold city glared back at me as I gazed over the streets. I couldn't focus at all; my mind was drifting back to the dream. I shook my head, trying to clear it. It didn't work. I had worked hard to try to cover up that memory and now it was out in its full glory. I scowled and paced around the small space that was in my room. I looked at the titles that the books held, trying to distract myself. They were the exact same books that were in my room, only they were shades of gold.
I went back to the window: something was happening outside. The clouds were showing images again. I decided to watch them one more time. The past held the image of a small, yellow blooded grub being held by someone. I didn't recognize either of them, so I moved on. The present displayed me on Orthel's back, sleeping soundly. Another present cloud showed an injured yellow blood in a strange suit, holding her hands to her head. The future showcased a meteor speeding through space; I saw no significance in that though. I then saw something else in a future cloud. A strange creature had its brow furrowed, looking at a hooded figure. The creature was wearing a dark green outfit with a short-sword in hand. It seemed to be speaking to the hooded figure. The shadows seemed to curl around the phantom, concealing it in a layer of shadow. A symbol that was a skull with crossbones was on the phantom's left chest. The cloud had no audio, just the two things talking.
I sighed, nothing was significant in the clouds today. I was relieved that nothing went as far as the destruction of Prospit. I sat down on the pile of books that I had apparently fallen asleep on. I decided to take a closer look at my clothing. I had smooth dark gold pants that were very flexible, ideal for my activities. I wore a slightly lighter gold long-sleeved shirt with a light gold crescent moon where my cream colored crescent moon usually is. I noticed that the end of my braid was held in a gold hair-tie with gold ribbons. I did like the clothing; at least, I liked it better than just black. It had detail, mastery, it actually complimented my figure. It wasn't too big or too small, but designed as though it was meant for specifically me. The thought of someone measuring every inch of me made me uncomfortable.
I then realized that someone was looking through the window. I looked over to the troll that was staring. I then noticed what the room must've looked like to them. My room was filled to the brim with books, very disorganised to anybody else who came over. That, and the state of my hair; it was frizzy, like it hadn't been freshly braided. I usually toss and turn in my sleep, so that makes my hair look disheveled. The room again, was in shades of gold, as if I had an obsession with that color. I frowned, slightly embarrassed.
It wasn't someone I recognized; I haven't even seen them on Prospit. They had semi-long black hair, down to the shoulders. The raven black hair was tied back to keep it out of her way. They were wearing the same shirt as me, but only slightly different. It had lighter shades of gold. Their horns were two different lengths and curved down to frame their face. I assumed that the troll was a she, due to the way her face and hands were shaped. On the other hand, they could be significantly younger than I am. I stared for a moment, probably discomforting her.
"Hello?" I finally spoke. She simply stared at me, looking unsure of what to say. Her soft, yet sharp grey eyes analyzed me, something I haven't seen in someone her age. "I understand You maY be confused. If You come in, I can explain." I encouraged her. I then saw that she wasn't floating, she was standing on something. She must not know that she is dreaming.
"um… could you give me a hand?" She looked embarrassed. It looked like the thing she was standing on wasn't quite high enough.
"Sure." I stood and walked to the window. I held out my hand, which she grabbed and pulled herself in. I was surprised at her strength.
"so you said you could explain… I'll ask the questions." She decisively said, confident of what she was about to say. "First off, what is this place?"
"This is a moon called Prospit. It orbits around a planet called Skaia." I answered simply.
"how did I get here?" She continued questioning.
"You can decide whether or not You believe me, but You are dreaming. Don't go jumping off cliffs or anYthing like that though. This is another version of Yourself that was just asleep on Prospit. You've woken up, but You can die here." I quickly explained.
"THaT DOeSN'T MaKe MUCH SeNSe." She said a bit loudly. She then cleared her throat. "sorry about that."
"It's fine, do You have anY more questions?" I asked.
"yes. what's your name?" She inquired.
"You can call me Sarona." I provided. "MaY I have Your name?" I asked.
"my name is aurora." She hesitantly said. The thing is, I could tell that she was acting. "please don't tell remule that I told you my name."
"MaY I ask who Remule is?" I was curious as to who this other person was.
"remule is… a close friend." She thought out her words carefully.
"I see. Well, if I ever encounter Remule, I won't tell." I nodded. She was acting overly innocent, as if she was trying to hide her true nature from me.
"I won't blame you if you tell accidentally. you'll know what I mean if you meet him." She made sure that I understood. I nodded to confirm that I understood, except for the fact I had absolutely no idea how I would tell accidentally. "so, why hasn't troll society noticed that this place exists?" She asked.
"Good question. I'm still trYing to figure that out." I sighed. "We could take it up with…" I trailed off as I remembered that the carapacians were the ones who stole my friend.
"with who?" She asked, interest piqued.
"Eh… I have to visit her again anYwaY. We can take it up with the White Queen." I had some questions for her, and I wasn't going to put it off any longer.
"is she anything like her imperious condescension?" Aurora questioned.
"The…." I paused, trying to remember who she was talking about. "Right! No. She's nothing like her." I clarified. I took a moment to recognize who on Alternia she was talking about.
"good." She simply said. 'There's no one as devious, cunning, conniving, wretched,' "i get it." Aurora interrupted my thoughts. She hadn't been looking at me but i felt her think that. Mayhaps she didn't know she spoke in my head?
"Ah. OkaY." I realized it wasn't just my 'real' self that had those powers, and that I would have to be careful about what I thought. "Follow me." I stood by the window, gesturing the same thing that I had told her to do.
"do you realize how far up we are?" She questioned, skeptical of my sanity. I chuckled and smiled at her.
"Do You realize how far the imagination can influence?" I fell backwards out the window. The wind swirled around me for a moment or two, I took in the feel of falling. I then stopped in mid-air. The golden spires of the buildings circled around me as I turned back to my tower. I saw Aurora's horrified face, looking for me. I then sped up to her when she was looking another direction. I examined her closely for as long as I could.
She had strong features, such as her shoulders. Her shoulders were a bit broad for her age, probably muscled. Her right shoulder was only slightly further back than her left shoulder, most likely she uses a gun that has a bit of recoil. Her right hand gripped the windowsill strongly, surely. Her left hand was more awkwardly placed than her right, signifying that she was either right-handed, or she was just so rushed that she couldn't put her left hand in a better position. The bridge of her nose looked like it was maybe broken once, it was just a little bit crooked. Her steel grey eyes confirmed my suspicions of her age. Her black hair was falling out of its tie as she had whipped her head back and forth looking for me. She had pointed ears, though they were a bit more rounded than mine.
Aurora finally looked at me, which she then stumbled back. "WOaH!" She shouted, surprised by my sudden appearance. She then took a better look at me, probably trying to decode me as I had analyzed her.
"So You do care." That was one of the main parts of me falling out the window. I wanted to see what she would do. That was a key to her personality. I knew that if she didn't come looking, then there were several things it could be. It could be she knew it was a test; it could also mean that she just didn't care; or maybe she had just started reading the books. The fact that she came running to the window with that particular look on her face meant that she had cared. That was someone I could consider trusting to the fullest extent.
She frowned and huffed at me. "that was really mean!" Aurora crossed her arms. I chuckled slightly.
"I had to see if You cared, because if You didn't, I wouldn't be able to trust You." I briefly explained.
"what are you standing on anyway… and how did you come so fast?" She finally realized that I was 'standing' in front of her.
'3.2 seconds. Intelligence is higher than the average troll's.' I thought. 'It would've taken a normal troll about 5.6 seconds or more. Reaction to the unreal and shocking is normal, but a record recover.' I pondered over just how much training it would take to get that kind of recover speed.
"so you're a telepath?" Aurora asked inquisitively even though it was probably rhetoric. I sighed at my abilities to keep it hidden.
'Sheesh. I've only known this girl for a few minutes and she's already figured it out.' I sat on the windowsill and hit my head on the side of the window repeatedly.
"hey! hey, i'm okay with that. just stop hurting yourself." She spoke quickly.
"Please don't tell anYone. MY friends don't know Yet, besides two." I finally said.
"who are they?" She asked.
"You, and a small pegasus…." I trailed off when I realized that I still had to save her. I cursed in crustacean. "OkaY, I don't have much time. I'll take You to the White Queen, I hope You don't mind if I ask mY question first; it's rather important. After that, You can chat all daY, but I have to go." I quickly told her my plan.
"why? what's wrong?" She questioned.
"Duneblitz, mY little pegasus friend has been kidnapped and I need answers fast. She maY be in grave danger." I explained quickly. "Now are You coming or not?" I asked urgently.
"i don't know how to fly!" She hurriedly spoke.
"How did you get up here then?" I questioned. I then saw twin daggers poking out the side of my tower. I eyed them, then I looked at her and raised an eyebrow.
"what?!" She indignantly shouted. "how was i supposed to know how to fly?!" I flew in closer and carried her bridal style.
She seemed uncomfortable in my arms, apparently unused to the position. She froze like a paw-beast that got grabbed by the scruff. She seemed to trying to see through my sunglasses. That unnerved me, so we flew in an awkward silence for a moment.
"if you don't mind me asking, why do you wear those glasses?" She asked.
"Stargazing. I like to think myself an astronomer." I immediately answered what I would have answered before playing SGRUB. After a while, we finally reached the White Queen. She sat, worried as I came in.
I landed and set Aurora down in one fluent motion. I then strode forward strongly, disregarding the nervous look coming from the White Queen. I then stopped abruptly about five feet from her throne. I crossed my arms and frowned deeply.
"So. A little birdY told me that some carapacians stuffed mY friend in a bag and took her into an abandoned subwaY. AnY comments?" I semi-growled.
"They are not my subjects. They are Dersian." She promptly answered.
"Right. The little bird also told me that You might know where theY are taking her." I uncrossed my arms, but rage still radiated from me due to the situation.
"You're not going to like it." She warned.
"Tell me anYwaY." I urged.
"They're probably taking her to the far end of the city where one subway is still in order so that they can travel to the neighboring city for… bad things." She trailed off.
"Bad things?" I was getting impatient.
"It's unspeakable. I can only say that you must get there quickly before that subway leaves." She spoke quickly. I nodded and tried to wake up, only to find out I couldn't.
"I can't wake up!" I began to get alarmed, unsure of what to do.
"Someone is influencing you. She dreams here, but she is not awake." She explained, after getting over the the shock factor. "You'll have to sleep until she stops her influence."
"How long will that be?" I questioned.
"It could take any amount of time. I suggest that you keep trying, but feel free to talk to your partners." She gestured to a rather comfy gold chair. I sat down in the chair, it was big enough that I could easily tuck my legs beside me if I wanted to, and it was soft enough that I practically sank into the cushion. I got out my combooker, getting into a comfortable position.
(Current Me)CIF: HeY, anY word from slightlY less future me?
(Far Future Me)FIF2: Not reallY. She's a bit busY right now.
CIF: Doing what?
FIF2: She's busY trYing to deal with Karkat and his shenanigans.
CIF: What kind of shenanigans?
FIF2: . . .
FIF2: You're trYing to make me saY some sort of nonsensical word to describe just what level of shenanigans he is performing. Aren't You.
CIF: A little bit. Yeah.
FIF2: OkaY, let me think.
FIF2: The shenanigans he are performing are….
FIF2: The shenaniganiest.
(Future Karkat)FCG: THAT WAS TERRIBLE.
FCG: THAT WAS SO ASTRONOMICALLY TERRIBLE THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE WHAT'S COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH. IT'S SO TERRIBLE THAT YOU WANT TO STUFF IT DOWN YOUR PROTEIN CHUTE SO THAT IT CAN NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF THE TWO MOONS EVER AGAIN.
CIF: WhY aren't You cursing?
FCG: NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
FIF2: Oh… Someone You've Yet to meet shot him with a specialized gun that stops him from cursing for a limited amount of time.
FCG: WHAT WAS THAT WHOLE RANT ABOUT FUTURE SPOILERS SARONA?
FIF2: It's not all that important. I didn't saY who shot You.
FCG: AND SOMEHOW, VRISKA COULDN'T SAY THAT SHE KNOWS WHO K-
FIF2: And that is a future spoiler to the extreme Karkat. It is comforting that You are learning so much.
FIF2: AnYwaY, what are You doing here?
FCG: I'M COMING IN THE PLACE OF SLIGHTLY LESS FUTURE (CURRENT) SARONA BECAUSE THAT PERSON PAST SARONA HAS YET TO MEET ACCIDENTALLY SHOT HER WITH ONE OF HIS STRANGE GUNS.
FIF2: OkaY, I do remember that. That was horrible. *shudder*
CIF: What happened? And whY does this guY shoot people so commonlY?
FIF2: You'll find out.
CIF: OkaY. Fine. WhY did You come in her place Karkat?
FCG: YOU TOLD ME TO COME IN YOUR PLACE.
FCG: SOMETHING ABOUT A QUADRANT.
FCG: OF COURSE, I ACCEPTED THE DUTY.
FCG: WHICH ONE OF YOU IS HAVING QUADRANT TROUBLES.
FIF2: Not me, obviouslY.
FCG: NO, YOU HAVE SO MANY QUADRANT TROUBLES, IT WOULD TAKE A SWEEP TO EVEN GET STARTED.
FCG: I'M ASSUMING IT'S YOU PAST SARONA.
CIF: What?
CIF: I'm not having anY troubles.
FCG: WELL I'M FRESH OUT OF CLUES THEN. WHY DON'T I GO PACK UP MY ROM-COMS AND MY "HOW TO FIX A RELATIONSHIP IN 539 WAYS INCLUDING MATESPRITSHIP, MOILRAILSHIP, AUSPISTICTUDE, AND KISMESSITUDE. TIPS FROM THE GREATEST." OBVIOUSLY NO ONE HAS A STINKING PROBLEM HERE.
FCG: ARE YOU SURE?
FCG: DON'T ANSWER THAT.
FCG: THAT WAS RHETORICAL.
FCG: PAST SARONA, I KNOW YOU HAVE PROBLEMS. LOOK AT YOUR AUSPISTICE QUADRANT. OR YOUR KISMESIS QUADRANT. THEY'RE BOTH SO MESSED UP.
FCG: YOU FEEL BLACK FOR SOMEONE WHO'S ALREADY BLACK FOR SOMEONE ELSE AND THAT HATE-LOVE IS NOT COMPLETELY REQUITED. QUITE FRANKLY, THEY SHOULDN'T BE BLACK FOR EACH OTHER AT ALL. THEY NEED AN AUSPISTICE. HONESTLY. ONE DAY THEY'RE ALL LOVEY DOVEY, THEN THE NEXT THEY JUST WANT TO HANG OUT. THE NEXT THEY'RE AT EACH OTHERS' THROATS!
FCG: SERIOUSLY.
CIF: Who are You suggesting that I'm black for?
CIF: What is "black" again?
FCG: YOU HATE THEM WITH SUCH A PASSION THAT IT IS HATE-LOVE.
FCG: DON'T DENY IT. YOU HATE VRISKA WITH A BURNING PASSION.
CIF: That's gross Karkat.
CIF: I can't even describe how disturbed that makes me feel.
CIF: I don't hate anYone with a "burning" passion.
CIF: Sure, I don't like her, but I don't hate her with a passion.
CIF: MaYbe You should trY managing someone else's quadrants.
CIF: ActuallY, You botched this up so bad, just give up.
CIF: You need to take a break from it at least.
FCG: I DON'T DO KISMESIS.
CIF: What?
CIF: No! What the heck made You think that I feel black for You?!
FCG: JUST FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
CIF: *sigh* I can't believe You actuallY thought that.
FCG: DON'T BLAME ME.
FCG: YOU WERE GETTING PRETTY ANGRY.
FIF2: OkaY, I think that's enough Karkat.
FCG: MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.
FIF2: That's what I'm doing.
FCG: MIND YOUR OWN FUTURE BUSINESS.
FIF2: I forgot that You were so stubborn when You were Younger.
FIF2: I like current You better. At least he's easier to get along with. I can actuallY accept orders from him.
(SlightlY less future me)FIF1: KARKAT yOU LEAVE PAST ME ALONE RIGHT NOW.
FCG: YOU'RE THE ONE WHO TOLD ME TO MANAGE QUADRANTS.
FIF1: I think You're making past me despair more than You're trYing to repair.
FCG: FINE.
FCG: I'LL JUST GO PACK UP MY-
FIF2: We've heard this before Karkat. Don't repeat rants.
FCG: SO YOU WERE PAYING ATTENTION. THAT'S GOOD TO KNOW. THERE MAY BE HOPE FOR YOU YET.
FCG: I THOUGHT YOU DECIDED THAT YOU WOULDN'T GET ONLINE UNTIL KHAN FOUND A WAY TO REVERSE THE EFFECTS.
FIF1: Shut up.
FIF1: I'm not going to tolerate this anY longer.
FCG: I'M PRETTY SURE YOU DON'T MEAN THAT.
FIF1: How do You know?
FIF1: I could be dead serious right now.
FIF2: Distant past me, You might want to get off now. I'll pester where there isn't a chat.
I don't know exactly what happened, but I'm pretty sure that gun messed with slightly less future me's head. I don't usually say "shut up" to too many people. That, or maybe Karkat had just made me that mad; I doubt it since it takes quite a bit to make me that mad. He must've made quite the effort.
I closed out of the memo, confident that it would get better in a while. Trollian sparked to life, but it wasn't who I thought it was.
dreamingEscapist (DE) began pestering imaginaryFriend (IF)
(?)DE: Hello.
DE: I know you may be confused, but I have been watching you for a while.
(Me)IF: That's not creepY.
DE: Oh. That did sound creepy.
DE: Sorry about that.
DE: Anyway, I have a few questions for you.
IF: Ask awaY.
DE: Who are you?
IF: Let's start with less personal questions.
DE: Okay, what are you?
IF: …?
DE: What species, the picture is a bit messed up and I can't tell what you are.
IF: Trollian.
DE: Oh, a troll. Okay.
DE: What are you doing?
IF: I'm trYing to save a good friend.
IF: Mind if I ask a few questions?
DE: Go right ahead.
IF: What are You?
DE: Human.
Human? I've never heard of that before. Humans must have some technological advancements, due to the fact they can speak and operate some sort of communicating device.
IF: SorrY if I offend You, but I've never heard of humans before.
DE: You see, we stumbled around in our game session and I don't know how or why, but we got into your session.
DE: We failed our game session, so we escaped into your session to try again. I will attempt to guide you.
IF: So…. That's why you're contacting me?
DE: That, and I want a friend.
IF: Don't you have any friends?
DE: The majority have died.
IF: Oh…
IF: I'm sorrY for bringing it up.
DE: That's fine.
DE: Actually, I think you can still fix it.
DE: I believe the thing that killed my friends is in the session that YOUR session that will be created when you finish yours.
IF: ?
DE: *spoilers* When you finish your session you will create a new world which will have a session of its own.
IF: I see….
IF: So was our world created from another session?
IF: Who was in that session?
DE: We might never know.
DE: Anyway, would you like to be friends?
IF: Sure, You can call me Sarona.
DE: I don't usually go by my real name… I find it a bit generic. You can call me KOD.
IF: KOD?
DE: KOD stands for Knight of Doom.
DE: It is my god tier, or title, whichever you prefer.
IF: Oh… I suppose mY title would be…. SOB?
IF: . . . That's lame.
DE: What does it stand for?
IF: Siren of Blood.
DE: So… Your power would be singing?
DE: Since you're a Siren…. In my mythology, you would be a bird-like beast that lives on desolate islands that sings to lead sailors to their doom.
DE: So we go hand in hand?
IF: Power? What's your power?
DE: Since I am a Knight, I use my aspect (Doom) as a weapon. In essence, I blow stuff up and do Knightly things.
DE: Y'know, save the prince (guys need to be saved too), beat up some bad people, and other things too.
DE: Mostly keep SOD in check.
IF: SOD?
DE: Scion of Death. He's my brother and one of the only remaining friends I have.
IF: Brother?
DE: Seriously? You don't know what a brother is?
DE: It's someone that is the child of your parents as well as you.
IF: I'm sorrY, but I am unfamiliar with the terms that You are using.
IF: Like…. Descendents of your Ancestor?
DE: Yeah, but imagine that you were the firstborn of your ancestor, and someone else was also firstborn of your ancestor.
IF: I think I get it…. How did you find out he was your brother?
DE: We were raised together. Also, he's older than me.
IF: How were You raised together? In our societY, we're separated as wrigglers.
DE: Okay…. Let's see, I'm trying to understand your society.
DE: Wrigglers?
IF: VerY, verY Young.
DE: Who takes care of you?
IF: Lusi, I in particular was taken care of bY a crustacean lusus.
IF: A lusus is a caretaker.
DE: Alright….
DE: How about Ancestors, why do you know ancestors, but not parents?
IF: The Ancestors are famous trolls from thousands of Years ago. TheY plaYed important roles of shaping our societY. Trolls match the blood color of their Ancestors to know who theY're descended from.
DE: Blood color?
IF: We have different colored blood. Rust red is at the bottom, Fuschia is at the top.
DE: Rainbow blood colors?
IF: Rainbow?
DE:
IF: Yeah… But where did You get candY red?
DE: It's a program, it displays all colors available.
DE: What color is your blood?
IF: I'd rather not saY.
DE: Well, humans all have one blood color.
IF: MaY I ask what color?
DE: Red.
DE: Or as you put it, "candY red."
IF: ReallY?
IF: Hm.
IF: Interesting.
IF: How do You rank Your race?
DE: We're an incredibly diverse species. We can be judged by appearance, or anything that makes us unique. What clothes we wear, everything. Where we live, what language we speak…
IF: Wow, that's quite a bit.
IF: So, from what I'm gathering, You don't have a uni/monoculture?
DE: No. Do you?
IF: I think so?
IF: In truth, I don't know much about mY culture.
IF: I onlY know the basics.
DE: How old are you?
IF: Six.
IF: How old are you?
DE: 13.
IF: ReallY? You're that old?
IF: Have You been shipped off Your planet?
DE: No! Why would you think that? I'm not even within 5 years of being an adult.
IF: Years? OkaY, that explains it. We're using two different measures of time.
DE: What unit of time measurement do you use?
IF: Solar Sweeps.
DE: Do you mind taking a selfie?
IF: A what?
DE: A picture of yourself.
IF: . . .
IF: I don't think I have anY cameras of which I could take a picture of myself.
DE: Do you have a laptop? A portable computer
IF: Yeah…. I don't think it's big enough to hold a camera though.
DE: Does it have a little black circle on it?
IF: Yes.
DE: That's a camera. Go to the start menu, type in camera settings and click on the option that has a camera next to it. Then pose and press enter.
IF: Done.
The camera flashed brightly before finally showing a picture of myself on-screen. I looked a bit goofy, so I retook it.
(KOD)DE: Okay, now click and drag the picture onto the little box that we're typing in.
DE: butfirst,
(Me)IF:
I clicked on the link, and I saw that she was the odd being I had seen in the clouds a while back. She had no horns, light-pink skin, and she was wearing pajamas. The pajamas were a dark green with a skull on the front. There was a hood, which was on her head. She also had a long flowing cape that wrapped around her. She had golden hair that was tied into a single ponytail. What really stunned me, was that she had eyes just like mine.
(KOD)DE: No offense, you look pretty weird.
DE: But in a good way.
DE: You don't look bad…. I mean…
DE: Can we forget that I said that? I feel really awkward.
DE: Hello?
DE: Are you okay?
DE: Hellooooo?
DE: . . .
DE: I'm sorry if I offended you.
DE: . . .
DE: Did I just get you killed?
DE: It seems that you're on Prospit though. At the stage of the game that you're in, there shouldn't be any enemies besides agents.
DE: Did one of the agents kill you?
(Me)IF: No.
DE: Did I shock you that much?
IF: MaYbe. I wouldn't admit that though.
IF: It goes against everYthing that I've ever done.
IF: The Sarona familY does not get stunned.
IF: As far as I know.
IF: I think?
IF: I'm still reading mY ancestor's journal.
DE: Your last name is Sarona?
DE: What's your first name?
IF: I don't like saYing mY first name.
IF: It is onlY said when I am in deeeeeeeep trouble.
IF: GOSH DANGIT.
For some odd reason, I just got a splitting headache. I clutched my head for a bit, trying to feel if something hit it. I don't know what happened, but I looked down and saw a stone. I'd better wrap this up soon so that I can figure out what threw the odd purple stone. Then I realized that I had written eight "e"s. That also made me frustrated.
DE: What did you say?
IF: Wow, I didn't know this thing recorded.
IF: I just cursed in my first language. Rough Translation: GOSH DANGIT.
IF: You could saY, I'm a bit crabbY.
DE: You speak crab?
IF: Yeah… Crustacean.
DE: Anyway, I sense that you're about to reach your destination.
DE: By that, I mean a Time player just told me to wake you up. You only have a short window to wake up. Vriska is focusing on keeping you asleep.
