Sesshomaru still travels with the young Rin, who is now a young woman. Time has passed and although some things have remained the same - some things have not. The Lord of the Western Lands is still fueled by the desire for conquest, but perhaps it's not the conquest he spoke to his father of those many years ago. Perhaps a lot more has changed, he just hasn't realized it...yet.
