Author's Note: Well I'm back here with the new chapter of Those Dog Days! And as you've guessed, like the first chapter there will be major differences between the first chapter. Kagome lounged on the soft bed of grass that she had designated as her personal spot within the large garden of the Phantomhive Manor. 'The bastard has been enjoying my torment more than was appropriate!' growling in irritation, but it soon lessened as she remembered the satisfaction she felt at Ciel assigning Sebastian the task of training Pluto.
Unfortunately, that had been short-lived. He made sure to mention that seeing as she and Pluto were of a similar species, it would be more beneficial for her to teach Pluto how to behave in his human form. Besides, seeing as she had taught herself how to speak in her two forms, wouldn't she have a better idea on how to go about teaching Pluto than Sebastian?
If that argument had come from anyone other than Sebastian, she would've conceded to the sound argument. However, she was very much aware of what he was, and knew first hand that he would have no problem accomplishing the goal especially if their Lord commanded him.
But she shouldn't have expected anything less from him. Being the cat lover he was, if he could foist the task to someone else than he would. Not to mention he just liked making her life difficult. Did he realize how tedious this was? The mutt didn't even know how to speak despite having a human form!
'My cute little master says that this task is repayment for breaking the stupid window…. it's not like Sebastian can't have it fixed with a snap of his finger!' grumbling under her breath, she tried to forget the craziness that was becoming a norm in the Phantomhive property.
'It's been such a long time since I've been able to relax like this…just how long has it been?" musing, she rested her head on her arm before shaking her head.
Now wasn't the time to think of a better time, where the only sounds around her had been laughter. When the air had been warm and filled with love, and it seemed like there was no need to go to heaven as she was already there. It was a time that was long gone, and so it was best that she didn't dwell on such memories for too long. Closing her eyes with a sigh, Kagome turned over to rest on her stomach to get more comfortable. But instead of her nose brushing against grass, it bumped into something that felt a lot less like grass and more like human skin.
Blue eyes snapped open in alarm before drifting up to lock with sparkling red eyes – the eyes belonging to the source of her irritation. The same source of her irritation, who had once again decided to forgo the clothes expected of him to wear in favor of his birthday. The same source that was once again invading her personal space!
"'Gome!" Pluto exclaimed, grinning toothily at her. Before she could do react, he launched himself at her. Wrapping his arms around her, he pulled her in close to his nude body. Immediately, she squawked at the sudden (and unwanted) show of affection that the dog-man was giving her. What made things worse was the fact that she could feel ALL of him through the thin barrier of fabric that was her shirt.
Scowling, she raised one hand above her head. Ready to deal him some serious pain, "What did I tell you about touch –!" He thought of everything that would need to be done so the situation didn't escalate.
"It wouldn't do for these dogs to create a mess in the house of Phantomhive over such thing."
Well that is the second chapter, which missed becoming a lemon. Then again, Kagome had a blast from the past and it wasn't a good one. Anyway, I hope you liked it.
