Sam knew Dean was a stubborn bull-headed idiot.
So after the unfortunate coming together between Dean and the floor of the haunted warehouse, Sam knew that two fractured, plastercasted wrists weren't going to stop Dean from being, as always, obnoxiously independent.

Over a few weeks, Sam had grown used to watching Dean wearing his food, half-wearing his clothes, and he didn't even want to speculate on how Dean was managing to wash himself …

But even Sam didn't think Dean would be stupid enough to try shaving.
