Regina was sitting in her office, tears streaming down her cheeks. She had just called Emma, but had gotten her voicemail. It had been like that for a while. It was as if she was avoiding her.

Regina was trying to find an explanation as to why her girlfriend would be avoiding her, but couldn't come up with anything.

Suddenly, the door to her office flew open. Emma entered, face flushed from having rushed here.

"Emma?" The Mayor asked surprised. She tried to erase the tears before her girlfriend could see them, but it was too late.

"Regina? What's wrong?" Emma asked worriedly taking Regina's hands in her own.

"Did I do something wrong?" Regina asked looking down.

Emma frowned. "No, why would you think that?"

"Emma, you've been avoiding me for almost a month now. You don't answer my calls; at home you keep locking yourself into the guest bedroom. What else am I supposed to think?" Regina explained sadly.

The blonde's eyes widened. "Oh god! Regina, I'm so sorry! I never meant for you to feel this way. I'm preparing a surprise for you. How about I show you when we get home?" Emma hugged her girlfriend tightly. "I love you so much, Regina."

Regina nodded. "I love you too, darling. How about we take the rest of the day of and enjoy each other's company?" She suggested.

"I'd like that." Emma smiled.

Regina packed up her things and grabbed Emma's hand. "Lets walk home."

Once they got home, Emma took a deep breath and led the brunette up stairs to the guest bedroom. She took the key out of her pocket and opened the door.

Inside Regina looked around, a frown on her face. The green walls were now covered in wallpaper with little teddy bears in airplanes and with parachutes and the queen sized bed had been replaced by a crib.

Regina turned back to Emma, a questioning look on her face.

"I'm pregnant, Regina. We are going to have a baby." Emma said, tears in her eyes.

"A baby? Really?" Emma nodded. "I got you pregnant?" Another nod.

Regina smiled widely and kissed Emma. What had started to be a bad day, turned quickly into one of the best days of her life.
