It was simple when it started. We didn't realize how wrong it became until it was to late. It was as if the research corrupted us. Some shrugged it off, but I didn't. I will attempt to free them tomorrow, and for the rest of my life I will attempt to pay penance for what went on within these walls. If I survive that is.

As far as Lan knew her town was safe. She lived in one of the major trading towns in the lesser known kingdom of Harth Road. The town, Harthome, was close enough to the capital to provide protecwhat actually happened was tion from bandit attack and thiefs and still far enough that they didn't have to deal with the nobles often. This was one of the reasons that no one worried about Lans direction issues. By wich we mean she got lost, a lot. It wasn't an issue until the incident. The day Lan left home and never came back. It marked a swift change in the town. Everyone began to look after everyone else, especially the children, and anyone who found themselves lost or in over there head was helped by the entire community. From then on the children of hearthhome would always be happy safe and loved. Shame it came to late for Lan. They eventually came to believe that she wondered into the woods and was eaten or attacked. What actually happened was this...
Lan had gotten lost and found herself in an unfamiliar alleyway. As she made her way threw she noticed a man at the other end. She didn't think much of it until she realized that he was just standing there staring at her. She stopped and tried to turn the other way, but she didn't notice the man behind her. There was something holding her in place as a cloth was held to her mouth. She struggled and blacked out. Unknowing of what awated her when she woke up.

I'm sorry things have been hectic. I'll be better. Sorry.
