Author's Note: I am so sorry this is so late, college is exhausting work and I've been taking a lot of classes to be done with my Associates of Arts degree by next spring. And to answer two reviews; I know I shouldn't be writing this, because it is based off of a story already written. I am writing this for fun and to get me used to writing in another writing style I haven't been able to get used to in years. I view this a mere practice, and I still totally suck at writing third person unlimited with third person limited, I am gifted at first person limited and unlimited... hence me saying that this is practice. But, I would not be writing this without the permission of the original author. I am sorry you don't want to read this anymore, because I plan on doing things differently from the original, it's just that the original story had some points I thought would be good in my version of a crazy ass Naruto. And to answer the comment about Naruto not being crazy enough earlier, that is when he's serious. To answer the review about why Kakashi isn't teaching his team; ... he is still injured and quite stiff from fighting Zabuza a few chapters ago so Naruto decided he could give his teammates a head start in their personal training while Kakashi is recovering.
I think that is all I need to say here. Now... I have two more semesters before I graduate, and I am half way through the summer semester and I get a three week break. I am not sure when the next update will happen, but I hope this chapter satisfies everyone to a certain extent. It took me nine tries to get the fight scene right. LOL
Naruto spent three more days training Sasuke in the arts of negative jin on top of Sasuke training two hours a night with his brother after learning the following day he could activate his sharingan.
But today, Kakashi and Itachi decided that Sakura and Sasuke could switch guard duty, much to the pink-haired kunoichi's complaints that fell on deaf ears the moment it was announced over breakfast.
So, much to Naruto's distaste, the day was quiet even with Sakura complaining every time he moved from one place to another outside the house, purposely stomping on the roof a bit just to annoy her.
"Will you stop it! It's scaring the crap out of me every time you do that!" The pinkette yelled as she poked her head out the kitchen window.
"I do it because I know it does. It gives me joy knowing it scares you. Lets' me know you're on your toes and paying attention too." He snickered before sitting down, facing towards the water as he pulled out his violin and started playing a slow tune without infusing his chakra into the melody.
"You're so infuriating!" Sakura screeched before slamming the window closed.
"Please, Sakura, the last thing we need is to have him lose his temper." Kakashi sighed as he started doing some minor stretching exercises to get his muscles working.
"Sakura! I just remembered something!" Naruto howled as he burst into the house through the window that she just closed, an excited grin on his face as he bounced on the spot in joy. "I was going to help you train like I did duck butt!"
"No! You're not going to hurt me like you did him!"
"I'm not training you like that exactly. You're going to be learning how to dodge and get started on your medical ninja training." Naruto smirked before dragging the girl through the window before she could protest.
"Put me down!" Sakura shrieked until Naruto indeed put her down without grace. He was just too excited to be training her in something so she could be useful soon.
"Now, I'm going to train you how to dodge, because what is the first thing you must know about being a medical ninja?" Naruto says, his back to her as he starts stretching a bit to get ready.
"Uhm… a medical ninja must never be injured or face combat because they are the most important person of the group."
"Wrong!" Naruto barked, making his female teammate squirm away from him in shock. "Sure, you're one of the most important people in the group, but a medical ninja must always know how to escape harm as well as have enough stamina to heal their teammates during combat. You must learn everything about your opponent, how they fight, what's their dominant side, how they handle a weapon of any kind, how they use jutsu, are they arrogant, everything. And you must NEVER take your eyes off of them. It is the job of the medic ninja of the team to know everything that goes on around them and know what to do in any situation! They must also know how to defend themselves when combat is unavoidable. So, we're going to learn dodging and I'm not going to go easy or lighten up because it's your first time."
"How is it that you know so much?" Sakura asked as she stood up and got into a defensive position that Naruto could clearly see she needed to work on.
"Remember, I study up on everything because it's my issue. I have to know everything about everybody before I can trust them." Naruto answered her before dashing towards her before suddenly stopping a few yards away and punched the ground, sending a couple boulders no bigger than the size of someone's head into the air and levitate before jumping into the air and kicking them straight towards her at full speed.
With a shriek, Sakura jumped up out of the way of one of the rocks but got hit in the chest by the second one, causing her to be pushed back into a tree.
"Open your damn eyes!" Naruto shouted before he stomped on the ground and did a round house kick to a boulder slightly bigger than the last few and kicked it towards her. "You must never close your eyes! Always watch your opponent to see what they're doing! You'll never know if they'll suddenly disappear and attack you from another side."
At Naruto's shout, Sakura snapped her eyes open, having been unaware she had done so and screamed at the size of the boulder coming right at her and used her chakra to grab the tree behind her and flip up its trunk and kick off just in time for the tree to shatter when the boulder reached her previous location.
Once Sakura landed on the ground, ready for another attack, she couldn't find him anywhere until he suddenly came out of the ground, grabbed her leg and pulled her under until just her head was above the ground.
A moment later, Naruto jumped up out of the earth and landed next to her.
"As ninja, we can appear at all angles, so below you is always an option." He noted before pulling her out of the ground. "Do you get what I'm saying now?"
"Yes… I do." She sighed, knowing that what everything Naruto said was true. And for a moment, her resolve in wanting to be a medical ninja like Tsunade started to waver until she saw the look in his eyes.
"Why do you go so far for the two of us, Naruto? You hate people, from what I've been told. So why are you going through all these lengths to help Sasuke and me?" She asked after she dusted her shirt off a bit.
"You're my teammates, I'll do whatever it takes to make sure my teammates don't die. Even if it's because we're forced as a team, I don't care. I've been faced with many people who don't care and I'm sick of it. And as for you being told I hate people, it's a lie. You have to give me reason to hate you and even then you have to do something that will give me reason to kill you on the spot. Because like I said in my introduction, I kill what I hate." He tells her with a smirk as he used his earth manipulation to get her out of the ground safely.
"Now, you ready for some more training?"
"Naruto! You're needed at the house." A familiar voice called out behind them from the trees, making both Sakura and Naruto face where the voice was coming from only for Naruto to blink at Pakkun.
"Really? I take it it's important?"
"Tsunami wants to go to the market and wants your assistance is all." Pakkun answered him before scratching behind his left ear. "So, what were you guys doing?"
"I was training Sakura to dodge, but lesson one was a fail. She'll get the hang of it though." Naruto smirked before rushing off towards the house with his earth manipulation and leaving Sakura behind, again, this time with a talking dog.
"You talked… Oh, that's right, I remember you now." She said. "Kakashi summoned you the other day when we got here to get Naruto who had ran off to Kami knows where."
"Yep, that's me. Now lets' get back to the house, Kakashi overstretched and can barely move." Pakkun nodded before turning around and jumped down from the tree he was sitting in and started off the way Naruto went.
"Right behind ya" Sakura shouted and caught up with the small ninja pug.
Naruto couldn't help it, he wasn't in a good mood even though he was with Tsunami. He liked her, yes, because she was a good mother and an amazing woman. But being surrounded by the doom and despair that was radiating out of these people he walked by just made him miserable and unable to get his conscious clear.
He hated seeing people suffer, he'd have helped more at home but they know who he is and refuse to accept any kind of help he had ever offered. Here, though, he was afraid of the same thing, offering to help only to have it spat back at his face in case they learned about him.
Even the market was as bad as he had feared; there was hardly anything to sell and it was all so highly priced that no one could afford it.
It clearly reminded him of being at home.
"I hate it here… reminds me of home." He muttered out loud, though he hadn't expected Tsunami to hear him.
"What do you mean? I heard that Konohagakure is an amazing place." She said, not knowing anything that the blonde had been through and he knew that, but he couldn't help his annoyance being ticked another notch.
"Look, you can't afford what little is here for dinner. You're not allowed to hunt for food because the jackass Gato made it illegal to hunt wildlife for food. How he doesn't know I did so is beyond me. And look, I think that guy is dead even. Nothing like that at home, though the smell coming from both him and the market reminds me of the food everyone sold me." Naruto answered her in a not-so-friendly tone because he couldn't help it. The whole atmosphere was pissing him off.
"You shouldn't be living like this! How can you people let yourselves get pushed around by that asshole huh? Do you expect some miracle and everything will get fixed for you!?" Naruto shouted so everyone could hear him, but no one was paying attention because they thought he was joking; he was still forcing himself to wear that grin he's always presenting.
"Naruto I-"
"No, I'm sorry, I didn't have the right to say those words." Naruto said before she could apologize herself and assisted her in buying the vegetables she needed to help him make the game stew he wanted to make for dinner.
On their way home, Naruto noticed a tall, gray building that didn't quite look like the rest of town, which held a visual of breaking apart because no one could afford the cost of repairs. No, this building held its own and only looked a few years old with no windows and one single door in the front, though Naruto knew it had at least one more door. What he didn't like, however, was the fact he could sense with his echo that inside the building were many children and women chained to one side of the wall while there were fifty men inside doing something he couldn't tell apart from inside his echo.
"Tsunami, what's inside that building?" Naruto asked, suddenly making Tsunami aware that he had stopped walking and was staring at the building she had so desperately tried to ignore.
"Well, you see, that belongs to Gato's thugs…" She said.
"I get that because of my echo, but why are there women and children in there?"
"Th-That's because… they…" She couldn't say it, and she tried hard to. But it was when she became silent that Naruto finally understood what the building was meant for.
Suddenly, the grin on Naruto's face halved and twitched as he tried desperately to keep it up in front of her and walked towards the building. When he reached the door, he knocked on it a few times before grabbing it and crushed the metal door with both hands, ripping it off its hinges and tossing it aside before casually walking in.
The stench in the place reeked and Naruto would have puked if he didn't have his resolve to destroy every man in this place. And like what he saw in his echo, there were at least sixty or so women and children chained to the wall on his right, but his echo didn't tell him they were all naked, filthy, some of them bleeding after having just been raped or raped the night before and covered with semen. On his left were roughly fifty men and a few were still in the process of finishing before noticing that a blonde boy with a straight jacket had walked in.
Naruto continued to look around him until he noticed a man on the chubby side wobble towards him with a bottle of sake in hand. The smell of booze and sex was making the blonde sick to his stomach but Kurama had finally helped him lessen his sense of smell and taste so now he wasn't able to smell and taste it in the air as bad as he was a few moments ago, but it was still there.
"Wh-hic-What a-are you d-doin' 'ere, y' brat?" The man asked Naruto when he stopped just inches away from him, bending so he could be at the blonde's height.
But Naruto wasn't paying attention to him because he was too busy counting the men in the room and analyzing what their skills were by sight, build, and choice of weapon. Outside the building, Naruto could hear the commotion as well as a gathering crowd, but he pushed that out of his mind when the man spoke again.
"Din't you 'ere me ch-chil'? I s-sai-" The man bellowed, but he wasn't able to repeat what he said earlier because Naruto suddenly thrust his left arm forward, forcing his hand half way into the mans' stomach before the guy started screaming in agony as steam erupted from his flesh. It took only seconds before the mans' body blew up, sending chunks of flesh all over the room.
It was once the last piece of cooked man flesh landed on the filthy floor that what was left of Naruto's grin disappeared.
"I can care less of what you said… you're all going to die here!" Naruto whispered before screaming in the end as he rushed forward to the closest man he saw and jumped up, kicking the man in the face so hard with a flame kick that he caused the head to explode on contact because the flame was so hot.
After the body landed, Naruto was already on his new target with his broad swords out and on fire as he swung with the precision of a master swordsman at his targets, leaving them to die of blood loss or instant death from the heat radiating off of him if they got close enough to attack him from behind.
A few moments later, Naruto tossed his two swords into two far opponents and he was now forced to use his manipulation abilities, something new he had been wanting to try for a while now but was unable to at home.
Suddenly, when Naruto thrust his hands forward, fingers spread apart with his palms facing down, all the thugs that were still alive –about twenty or so- were frozen in place and couldn't move until he put his palms to the side so they faced each other and forced the thugs to get on the ground on their knees.
"Like it? It's a new ability of mine that I hadn't been able to test until now… I call it Blood Manipulation. It's where I can control the flow of what's inside your body and do whatever I want to you." Naruto giggled, though, the look on his face showed he was in pure joy at the sight of all this bloodshed and the look in his eyes sent off the 'kill' vibe like a veteran from war who knew what he was doing.
To prove his point, Naruto isolated his focus onto a couple of people and used his ability to force them to kill the other. He couldn't help but laugh at the expressions that were on the thug's faces as they watched some of their men die by the others' hand. And when they felt their bodies move against their will, they couldn't help but beg the child for forgiveness at what they had done and vowed to never do it again.
But their words fell on deaf ears as some of them started to slowly freeze from the inside out and a few of them start turning red all over the parts of their body that were visible to the eye before they blew up. The ones that froze solid shattered from the heat of the blood and flesh that touched them because they got so cold.
In the end, only one person survived Naruto's wrath before he decided the women and child were now safe to leave even though he had never wanted them to see this carnage. It wasn't fair to them who had suffered so much inside this building. It made him sick just thinking about it.
As he turned to walk towards the wall that had the women and children, he swung his arms around a bit and his two broad swords were returned to his grasp and he put them away by the time he had reached them.
"Please, remain calm. I am here to get you out so please don't move until I can get your chains off." He warned, because he didn't know how much longer he could manipulate the metal in this building and he needed as much concentration his mind was going to allow him.
So, one by one, he got them free from their chains, letting a few women free before the children so they didn't have to leave this place alone and managed to get them all free before his body wouldn't let him manipulate metal anymore. It wasn't until the last of the women and children were gone that he felt a stabbing pain in his back, but he kept his resolve and didn't flinch.
"Like that's going to hurt, but I have a message for you to relay to your boss… tell him that Naruto Uzumaki will kill him before the end of next month." He said as he turned his head to look at the thug, unknowingly to him that his eyes had become slits, resembling the kyuubi's eyes because they were also red. "And that is not a threat, it is promise."
The thug didn't say anything, but it yelled as it ran away from him because he had never seen anybody stand, let alone not flinch, when stabbed in the back so close to a vital organ before. To say the least, he never knew a child that could do this to a room of people that were three or more times his size and get out of it without a scratch.
When Naruto knew the room was void of life besides himself, he slowly exited the building only to see a huge crowd had gathered around outside across the street. Itachi was running towards him, fearing he might have to fight the blonde only to stop in his tracks when Naruto stopped moving.
"What happened here?" The raven asked in a tone that meant 'you tell me the truth or I punish you here and now.'
"I put an end to a sex ring… that is all…" Naruto answered, but he couldn't help the blood that dripped down the corner of his lips, he was unable to make his body move now that he had stopped moving so he couldn't reach behind him to get the dagger out of his back. "Would you please… take this dagger out of my back? I can't…"
Naruto was not able to finish what he wanted to say before everything around him started spinning and he fell to the ground unconscious from chakra exhaustion and because of the wound in his back.
