She was beautiful. She did not have a cutie mark, and never could she get one, but that didn't matter to Luna. What matters is that she was the best thing ever. And now here they were, telling their filly how they met.

Luna was out walking in the gardens, it wasn't long after the changelings had turned good. Luna was lonely. She didn't know what to do, and anypony she tried to talk to ran away screaming. With a few tears in her eyes Luna was about to head back to the castle when she heard sobbing. So, she turned on her heel, and started walking in the direction the sobbing was coming from.

"H-hello?" Luna called. The sobs silenced and a shuffling of hooves was heard followed by a thump, and a pounding of hooves as whatever it was ran away. She looked around the corner to see a pair of black hindquarters running away. Luna noticed how slender they were and how graceful the pony ran.

Weeks Later,

Luna was bored, she had been pondering who the mystery pony was for a month now and she still hadn't gotten any closer.

Who are you? Luna wonders, again.

Celestia has no idea what could possibly be taking up so much of the night princess' time. So, for the fifth time this month, Celestia knocks on Luna's door.

"Sis, I haven't seen you for a while. Are you ok?" Celestia leans against the door. "Just tell me, I can help!"

"No, go away." Luna bans Celestia from entering once more. As Celestia walks away she hears a click, and she looks behind her, to see her sister for the first time in a month. Or rather her sister's hindquarters growing smaller as her sister runs down the hall.

"Lu-" Celestia starts, but her sister is already gone.

Finally, I've figured it out! Luna thinks. She gallops as fast as possible toward the changeling hive, the last known location of Queen Chrysalis.

"Thorax!" Luna shouts upon entry. She doesn't stop, but continues to gallop toward the king, multicolored changelings eyeballing her the whole way. Luna bursts into the throne room. "Thorax! Did you see what direction Queen Chrysalis ran after you defeated her? Celestia uh wanted to lock her up..."

"Yes, I did see her, I'll show you." Thorax starts to walk in the direction of the old throne room, Luna following close behind. "Here." Thorax suddenly proclaims. Luna rams into his hindquarters.

"Sorry!" She yelps.

"No worries." Thorax brushes it off. "Now, as I was saying, this is the last place I saw Chrysalis, I, unfortunately, did not see which direction she ran, if you want to know more you had best talk to Starlight." Thorax finishes, leaving Luna in a frustrated state.

"Yes, yes, thank you Thorax." Luna hastily replies. She then flies off, in the direction of Ponyville.
