Everyone: Shadowslayer does not own Sly Cooper or Soul Eater!

Soul and Maka had been sitting in the safehouse as Sly and Bently entered the room, after putting Nadine to sleep. Sly joined them as Bently rolled over to his computer. "Murray is still asleep, hopefully he'll wake up soon." Maka stated as she read through a book. Soul had kept himself occupied by staring out the window. "He's the toughest guy I know, he'll pull through." Sly smiled softly. "Correct, however. There is the elephant I need to address in the room." Bently added as he spun around. "What are we going to do about Clockwork?" The room fell slight. "Ive been doing a lot of reading, and surprisingly I havent been able to find anything on him." Maka replied. "Which is saying something because she's 90 percent bookworm." Soul added.

"That's because you wont." Sly answered quietly, causing them to turn their heads to him. Reaching into his pouch, he retrieved the Theivious Raccoonus. Sliding it over the table to Maka. Her and Soul stared at the book before Maka flipped open a few pages. "What is this Sly?" She looked up at him, adjusting himself. He took a moment to speak. "My father was killed over that book." He answered, the room felt heavy as everyone remained quiet. "Its my families airloom, passed down from different generations of the cooper clan. Sharing secrets, abilities, stories. Anything about my families history is in that book." He answered, Soul looked up at him. "I take it Clockwork killed your father for it." Sly glanced out the window. "Yes, he wanted it. Claiming the cooper clan will be powerless without it."

"Can I ask...what happened to your father?" Maka but her lip, fearing the question was too sensitive. "One night, Clockwerk and his gang known as the Fiendish Five broke into my home. My father, hiding me in the closet. Took on the gang alone...and lost..." The group lowered their gaze to the table as Sly continued to speak. "Each member tore pages out of the book and used them for their own gain. Once we were finally out of the orphanage, we set out on recovering the pages. From Asia, to Utah, to Haiti. We recovered each of the pages and put the Fiendish five behind bars. As for Clockwerk, he was destroyed in a Volcano in Russia. I guess it wasnt enough." Sly muttered.

"He kept his body alive for hundreds of years...using machine parts...just to destroy your line of blood?" Maka asked, looking up from the book, Sly nodded in response. "My question is this, how was he able to be revived? Clockwerk died." Bently asked, typing up on his computer. "I can think of only one person..." Make muttered as Soul turned to her. "Medusa." Soul responded for her.

"Normally Id say reviving the dead is impossible, but after our trip to Haiti. I stood corrected." Bently commented, turning to them. "So what is our next move? We cant sit here all day. And with Crona...we cant leave him unmonitored...not after..." Soul turned to Maka. "I still think something is up, Crona wouldnt just do that. He's our friend." Maka protested. "You mentioned earlier that Medusa was her mother figure correct?" Sly asked as he turned to her. "If you call experimenting and isolated him motherly love than sure." Maka replied glaring off to her side. "Then maybe she is behind this somehow. It would make sense, itd be hard not to obey the person that has brainwashed you." Sly suggested. "I hope so, for Crona's sake." Maka sighed. "I dont mean to be rude, but I think I know where we can begin searching for clues." Bently replied as he typed on his PC, causing everyone to turn to him. "We have to go back to Russia." Bently swallowed nervously.

Off on the other side of the world, at the interpol station in Paris. A interpol agent sat at the reception desk, flipping through a magazine lazily. The ryhno yawned, clearly tired from the long day. "Excuse me mister..." A little voice came from the front of the desk. The officer at to lean over the counter to see who it was. "Hey there little girl, what are you doing here all by yourself?" He asked as he set the magazine aside. Medusa looked up with a fake smile. "Where do you keep all of the deadly criminals?" She giggled. The officer raised a brow. "I think someones been watching too much Law and Order...where are your parents?" He asked as he picked up the desk phone. "Oh I dont have any, but I do have a guardian." Her smile then turned sinister as the wall behind her exploded, a screaching howl coming the the dust as Clockwerks shadow loomed behind Medusa.

The officer looked up from behind the desk in shear terror, he then sunk back behind it. Lifting a shaky finger and pointing to the left. "D-down the hall and to the left!" He answered. "Thanks Mister!" Medusa giggled as her and Clockwerk began to make their way there. "That little girl impersonation sickens me." Medusa spat as they walked down the hall. "If it disgusts you so, then why did you choose that form to begin with." Clockwerk squaked. "I had no choice, I was in a weak state." Medusa grumbled as officers stepped into the hallway with their shock pistols drawn. "Fools." Clockwerk hummed as he flapped his wings, the gust blowing back the handful officers . "With the alarm disabled thanks to Free and Erika, we shouldnt run into anymore trouble." Medusa sneered as they entered the holding cells, the officer on duty sat up real quick and drew his weapon. To which Medusa responded by firing a bolt of magic at the tiger, who fell back against the wall.

Picking up the clipboard on the desk, she began to skim through it as they went deeper into the cell block. Prisoners, keeping quiet. Not daring to anger the two powerful beings on the other side of the bars. "Lets see..." She ran her fingertip down the list as they stopped in front of a line of cells. "Here they are." She smirked as Clockwerk stood in front of the cells. "My collegues, its been awhile." He hummed as the shadows occupying the cells stood up, their red eyes glowing in the darkness. "Fear not, I have been reborn. But our mission is still not yet complete. I ask that you all join me, together, we will shall finally succeed." He added as his yellow eyes scanned each of the shadow figures. "Of course Clockwerk old chap, I am at your service once more!" One of the shadows spoke. "Anythin' aht getting anoda' chance at icin' dat Coopuh'!" Another shadow's spat. "The spirits are quite fiesty in wanting their revenge on Cooper!" The other laughed. "I must redeem my honor, and challenge Cooper once more. I shall not fail a second time." The last one bowed.

Clockwerk chuckled darkly, "No, my friends. This time, we have new allies. This is our last chance, do not dissapoint me." He warned as with a swipe of his wings, the cell doors were blown off their hinges, freeing the inmates. Medusa grinned evilly as they stepped forward in front of her. "My plan is coming together quite nicely."

The next morning, Sly, Bently, Maka and Soul were standing in Lord Death's sanctuary. Accompanying him were Spirit, his son and the Thompson sisters. "Russia? What for?" Lord Death tilts his head at them. "Clockwerk had a secret lair in Russia, we believe this is the best place to look for clues Lord Death." Bently adjusted his glasses. "Well, then I dont see why not. But do be carefull. Im sure youll run into some kind of trouble." Lord Death smiled behind his mask. The group gave a nod and turned to leave.

"Well that was easier than I thought." Maka turned to the rest of the group. "Lord Death knows we can take care of ourselves." Soul smirked as he held his hands behind his head. "But how are we going to get to Russia?" Maka asked as they stepped outside. "Dont worry." Sly smirked as the rest of the gang glanced to see the team van parked out front. Murray leaned against it with Nadine sitting on his shoulder. "I heard you guys were going to Russia, need a lift?" Murray smiled as Nadine gave a soft giggle. "Glad to see youre up and about pal." Sly smiled as he placed a hand on Murrays shoulder as the group approached him. "I wouldnt miss it for a chance to pummel Clockwerk." Murray replied. "Its a long way to Russia, and we have everything backed. Lets get going." Bently smiled as he adjusted his glasses. As the gang climbed inside of the van, Murray peeled out and ramped off the steps. However, watching from a nearby rooftop. Carmileta Fox glared at the van that was speeding away. "Why would you want to go back to Russia cooper?" She asked as she dove off of the rooftop.
