A/N Hey guys I know it's been a long time since I've updated any of my stories but I hope you continue to read and leave me reviews! Also I know this is a short update but I wanna keep them that way for a but longer but I promise that the chapters will get longer one the story progresses. A couple weeks past and it was finally hogsmeade weekend…
Hermione headed back to her dorm after eating what little lunch she could stomach. When she entered her room, she noticed that Fawkes was perched on a pedestal that used to be in the Headmaster's office. Looking around she seen that Crookshanks was curious but seemed put off by the bird and so he stayed on the bed. Opening up her drawers looking for something to wear for her 'date' with Zabini, because she was still unsure whether he was serious. Finally settling for a blue dress with small flower print and boots. Trying to be casual but still look nice. She wore no makeup only applying some lip balm to her mouth before leaving her room.
"Granger where are you off to in such a rush?" He said looking her up and down seeing her dress differently than usual gave him a new perspective.
"Not that it's really any of your business Malfoy but I happen to have a date." She noticed him glaring at her and she waved it off to being Malfoy.
"Actually, it is my business we are under contract to become married in which I have to court you."
"Well I'm sure it doesn't say that we can't date anyone else during." She rendered.
"Have you even read the contract?"
"No, I hoped we could just let this year past and say we aren't interested in each other, I mean honestly Malfoy, you and me." He looked offended and stormed out of the room but not before yelling back at her.
"Read the bloody contract Granger!"
Ugh! Great she was hoping that he would be agreeable be no luck. Well, looks like I'll have to owl Zabini and tell him we have to reschedule and read that damn contract. Sauntering back to her room she grabbed the loathed parchment and went out to the Head's common room to read on the sofa.
The Malfoy – Flamel Bloodline Marriage Contract
We, Nicolas Flamel and Perenelle Flamel agree to all the terms stated below in which is witnessed by Alan Rickman a ministry official.
I. By the age of seventeen if both of family bloodlines are of age and are within five years of age from each other should the contract be fulfilled.
II. Upon the act of both pertaining parties have read the contract or opened parchment will the contract react.
III. Both witch and wizard shall not be allowed to ignite contact of opposite sex in ways that are seen to as kissing, embracing for too long of time, and or sex of any kind.
IV. Should any of these rules be broken the contract will extend the amount of days of courting.
V. If by the end of courting the end result not come of fruition then it will then be passed down to the next generation.
VI. If within time that the witch becomes pregnant by wizard before marriage then a wedding will take place within a week of knowledge of the pregnancy. Failing to do so will cause loss of all use of Gringotts or any other Wizard accounts they may have for up to ten years.
VII. Witch or Wizard must go by the Malfoy name and may not hyphenate it.
VIII. Witch or Wizard must bear a minimum of two living children.
IX. Couple must live at Malfoy Manor until both children are of age.
X. Witch and Wizard are not allowed to use any spells against each other in intent of harmful purpose.
