Hermione's p.m.

After I left the boys at the breakfast table, I ended up in the library. I know what you're thinking this is only the first day; What could I have that I need to study. But this is me, I like to be caught up on everything before the classes started plus I like to read so I figure that I would read a few of the books.

I had to be sitting there for a few minutes when I saw a solo redhead walk into the library, there was only a few people that would come into the library that had red hair. Ron wasn't one of them and neither was George unless he had been dragged by the current occupant of the library.

Fred popped his head around the corner of the bookshelf that I was currently sitting between. "Hey Mia" he said as he moved towards me and then proceed to sit down beside me.

"What you reading there?" He asked pulling up the cover of the book I was looking at.

"Jeez Hermione it's not even seven a.m. and you're already reading books on potions." He said

"Yeah got to make sure that I'm ready for this year." I said putting the book cover back down

"Well I think that you'll do fine this year. You always do" Fred told me.

I turned a bit red at that fact but let's face it, he was right.

"so stop worrying about the grades and have a bit of fun this year. "he said.

I gave him a look like have you met me. "Fun isn't my middle name, plus every time I tried to have fun someone always tried to kill us" I said

Fred nodded, "You've got a point on that one."

"So what are you studying? It's only the first day, what can you already be studying? "Fred asked me.

"I don't know, just scanning over potions that I forgot over the summer." I said to him

He rolled his eyes at me, "the infamous Hermione Granger, forgot potions?" He gave me a look, that could only be described as fake horror.

I couldn't help but laugh at his face and it wasn't one of those quite laughs either. Mrs. Pince ended up having to shoosh me. After that happened then it was my turn to beet red and be laughed at.

"So how was the beach, other than getting sunburned?" Fred asked

"Oh it was wonderful. I got to swim with the dolphins, that was a blast" I said.

"You know in all my years I don't think that I've ever been to the beach" He said

"Well next time we go, I'll see if mum and dad don't mind, if you tag along. Give you a bit of a tour of the muggle world" I said, wondering how it would be with Fred in the muggle world. Chaos, total chaos; I couldn't help but smile and laugh about that.

Fred caught the smile on my face, "What's the smile for?"

"Just imaging how the muggle world would fair to the famous Fred Weasley. I couldn't but think that I would be Chaos." I said", I mean this is you were are talking about here"

"I don't know whether I should be honored or offended" he said shaking his head.

I didn't realize until he started shaking his head that his hair was getting pretty long.

As soon as the thought crossed my head, the bell rang. It's like I know that I was about to say something to him about his hair. Saved by the bell, Fred. For the time being.

I picked up the books that I was reading. Fred picked up my bag, "Is it okay if walk the M'lady to her first class?"

I nodded my head and fell into step with Fred as we walked to my class.

Fred's P.o.v.

I made it to class just in time for Snape to fly into the dungeon. George looked over at me, he knew why I was late.

"Let me guess, you walked a certain bookworm of ours to class?" He asked

When I just shrugged my shoulders, he looked back to the front of the classroom and shook his head. I knew what he was thinking, it must be bad if I was walking her to class but I couldn't help it. It seemed whatever she would come to be, she had wormed her way into my life and it would seem for the time being, my heart.

Even though for the time I would keep it to myself, I was thinking that this was become more than a crush for me.

I barely paid any attention to my classes, it was kind of hard when I had a certain bushy hair girl running through my head; So much for the crush going away.

Before I looked it was time for lunch, I picked up my bag and followed George to the Great Hall. I sat down at the table with George, Lee and Leon was already sitting down talking.

"Any mischief caused in class?" Lee asked once we got settled in.

"Not today, Fred was a bit distracted." George said to Lee

Of course he would say something in front of Leon, Lee knew about the so called crush that I had on Hermione. Leon did not know that I had a crush on her but if I had to guess I wasn't the only one that had one on her.

I rubbed my temple, all this I was giving me a headache. I put food on a plate and started eating, Harry, Ron and Hermione walked into the great hall and sat down a little further down the table. Ron and Harry was still the talk of the school over coming in a flying car, Hermione was shaking her head about it.

Leon had gotten up from talking with Lee and walked down to wear Hermione was sitting at, sat down beside her and started talking. Ron and Harry ignored them but looked like what was going on.

The looked down toward the end of the table that we were sitting and gave me a look. I shook my head and went back to talking with George. He didn't know what he was going to do, it was looking like Leon was setting his eyes on Hermione.

If I hadn't said it once, this year was going to be a rough year.

A/N: Soooo sorry for being gone for so long, I've been trying to write but nothing has been coming to me. Plus, the writer's block, I've been working two jobs and it's been taking a toll on me. But never fear faithful fans, I will try to update as soon as I can.
