Episode 3: Coalition Reborn
Lucy's POV
When we returned to Magnolia after delivering the Crystal, we were relaxing when suddenly, Madison burst in. She looked horrible, with wounds all over her.
"Madison! What happened!?" I yelled.
"The others…They went…Insane…" she said, collapsing.
"What do you think she meant by that?" Wendy asked, as Levy and Bisca carried her to the infirmary.
Suddenly, John burst into the guild, carrying a large bag, and seeming exhausted.
"It…Happened. Which one of…You…Got the crystal from the shrine?"
"Me, Why?" Natsu said.
"You. Little. IDIOT!" He said punching Natsu in the face and knocking him out.
"Eek, He knocked him out!" Wendy yelled.
"What did you attack Natsu for!?" Macao yelled.
"That fool released the darkness in the Crystal, and that's why your friends are going crazy!"
"W-What do you mean?" I asked.
"The Darkness is not always released, it is sometimes absorbed into the Crystal, and when exposed to the Dragon-Slayer magic, it got loose and turned those 6 evil." He said.
"So the reason why the Eagle Heart members went crazy…Was the Crystal?" I said.
"Simply put yes, and now that they are like this, they pose a grave threat."
"Especially based on where they are." Levy said with a somber look.
"What do you mean?" Gray asked.
"Remember where you took on the Oracion Seis?"
"You mean…" Erza said.
"Yes. Madison muttered Nirvana before she passed out."
"Even so, they'd need a large amount of power to get Nirvana working again." John said.
Suddenly, the Princess's guards ran in.
"It's the Princess! SHE'S BEEN KIDNAPPED BY EAGLE HEART!"
"Ok…That would certainly be enough to start up Nirvana, which is a REAL PROBLEM!" John yelled.
"All of you, enough." Someone said.
Wait a minute…That voice!
"Master Makarov!"
"It seems we have no other option, we will form another Coalition with Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale. Sabertooth have agreed to send Rogue, Sting and Yukino to help, and Madison will follow up and assist you once she recovers." He said.
"But how did you know about the events?" Erza said.
"I was at the castle with the Princess when she was kidnapped, and learned from that young man about the job you had taken." He said.
"So where should we meet?" I asked.
"Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Gray, Wendy, Gajeel, Levy, and Juvia. You will meet with the allied Guilds at Master Bob's home where you met for the Battle against the Oracion Seis." He said. "As for Macao, I will temporarily retake leadership if you believe that's ok."
"It's fine with me." He said.
We then left on our job, but what we didn't notice was that beneath the guild, the lacrima holding Mavis started to crack…
