"Is this...the one? Voldemorts son?"

"Yes, this his son! Unbelievable, they let him go to Hogwarts even though his father is...you know."

"I heard that he tries to bring back his father somehow. And a teacher should help him..."

Scorpius tried his best and ignored the other students but it was hard when everyone hated him and nobody wanted to even sit next to him.

"Leave him alone! Don't you know that he can hear you and you're hurting him?!"

The young Malfoy flinched and looked up only to see a boy with piercing green eyes who...defended him? Someone...actually defended him? The girls did not say anything else and began to whisper again. The boy came closer and smiled.

"Sorry but is this compartment free? I would like to sit next to you..!"

Someone...wanted to sit next to him? He was surprised and all he could do was nod. The boy with the green eyes sat down next to him and held out his hand. It only surprised Scorpius even more.

"I'm Albus Severus Potter. But please, call me Al! And...ignore my last name, please..."

It seemed like that Albus also had some struggles. He knew that his father told him about Harry Potter so this must be his son. After all, Harry Potter was the saviour! There was not a single wizard who did not know him! Scorp shook his hand and smiled a little.

"I..I'm Scorpius. Scorpius Malfoy...and...my father isn't Voldemort."

Albus chuckled and continued to study the boy in front of him. It made Scorpius nervous but he did not want to make his first and probably only friend angry. He knew that his father made the mistake with the saviour and he did not want to make the same mistake.

"And even if your father was Voldemort, I don't care. You're not like him. Just like I'm not like...my father.."

For a few seconds his features showed some sadness but it was washed away by a bright smile again.

"You know what, let's say he's your father and scare everyone! I'm sure that nobody will ever say anything about you again! Imagine their faces!"

Scorpius did not know why but he really liked the boy. He was...everything he wasn't. And he had a feeling that they would become best friends. Albus smirked as soon as he saw a slight nod and ruffled through the blond hair. The Malfoy boy blushed and looked at his new friend whose cheeks were also red. They looked at each other before they began to laugh, not caring about anyone else.
