Episode 9: Final Showdown

Natsu's POV

"FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!"

"IRON DRAGON CLUB!"

"Hmph, you call those attacks!? FLAMING GLORY!"

Things in the central palace were heating up. The 3 Dragon slayers were locked in bitter combat with Zara, the last core member of Eagle Heart.

"SKY DRAGON ROAR!"

"DARKENED FLAMES!"

As the fight raged on, Nirvana's main chamber continued charging.

"WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE ALREADY!? FLAMING GLORY!"

"BECAUSE! WE'RE NOT JUST FIGHTING FOR THE PRINCESS OR OUR SURVIVAL, WE'RE FIGHTING FOR OUR FRIENDS!"

As we kept fighting, I heard something, and leaped back.

"Oh 88 Stars of the heaven…Shine! URANO METRIA!"

"WHAT!?" Zara yelled, before being nailed by the attack. She then stumbled back.

"I…Can't believe this…I was beaten…By pathetic fairies…" she muttered, before she collapsed.

Suddenly, Madison appeared above us.

"By the power of this Holy Light, I vanish the darkness! Darkness, BEGONE!"

Zara screamed as a dark cloud left her and then vanished. Madison then leaped over to the Princess and cut her loose just in time, causing Nirvana to collapse again.

"Nice Timing Madison! But where did Urano Metria come from?" I said.

"You idiot…It's obvious the bunny girl did it!"

I looked up, and sure enough, Lucy was there with Yukino.

"Well nice shot you two!"

"MOVE!" Madison yelled.

We all got out of the way just in time to evade a water dragon roar from Sakura.

"HOW IS SHE STILL STANDING!?" I yelled.

"I…Will not go down…NOT YET!"

Almost immediately, we started dueling again, with neither of us able to gain the advantage.

Suddenly, Madison's clothing changed, revealing a rustic outfit, her arms and face now sporting red markings.

"M-Madison?"

"Y-You! Taiko…I was hoping you would stay sealed…But it seems you are back…" Sakura said.

"T-Taiko?"

"Yes. I am Taiko Tayama. Last surviving descendant of the Nirvits. And it is time that I end Nirvana for good!"

"WHAT!?"

"SHE'S A DESCENDANT OF THE NIRVITS!?" Jura yelled.

"Light Magic, Shining Heavens!"

"WATER DRAGON ROAR!"

The attacks nailed each other and for a while seemed equal, but Taiko's power won out and nailed Sakura.

"I…Lost…" she muttered as she fell.

"By the power of my holy light, dark spirits, BEGONE!"

Just like Zara, Sakura screamed as the spirit left her, and disappeared. Madison then fainted, her appearance returning to normal.

"Madison!"

"Don't…Worry…She's just tired from expending that much…Power…" Amy said as she stumbled in.

"Amy!?" Lucy yelled.

Lucy's POV

"How are you still standing?!" I Yelled.

"Oh…Believe me…I'm in no mood to fight…I'm exhausted…from your attacks earlier…But...I managed to get here…thanks to Madison removing the darkness…"

"You ok?"

"Ya…Just let me…catch my breath…but good news is…everyone is back to normal…so we can finally…relax…"

With help from the coalition, the story of Nirvana was finally over…
