As he opened his eyes widely, followed by heavy breathing, Kuroo looked at the high ceiling upon his head. He didn't know that the high white ceiling would be a better scenery than sky with clouds floating around. He let a sigh of relieve to escape from his lips, as if he could blow away all of his anxiety from the dream he just dreamt. But, no, he couldn't.

He tried to close his eyes, breathing in and out quietly, so he can relax and fall asleep fast. Well, that's not actually how things going, and Kuroo realized it. He couldn't fall asleep yet, while his mind still replaying the same scenes over and over again when he couldn't see anything but darkness. Replaying the scene where suddenly Tsukishima said "goodbye" and jumped off the cliff, giving Kuroo a sad smile as he slowly fade away.

No, he couldn't sleep.

To remember it exactly, Kuroo hasn't have any bad dreams for a while. The last nightmare he had was when he was eight years old, the nightmare where his parents was taken away by sort of dinosaurs and they ate them. Right in front of him. As a child who just reached age 8, he had some hateful feels towards dinosaur. Or godzilla. Or any fantastically huge animals.

But now, Tsukishima wasn't being taken by a dinosaur, or godzilla, or fantastically huge animals in front of him. The blond one himself jumped by his own will. And it just gave Kuroo more anxious feeling.

Am I not good enough? Am I being too stubborn? Or is he getting tired about me?All sorts of thoughts running through Kuroo's head who just usually only filled by volleyball, college, and Tsukishima. And that didn't give Kuroo more ease. Hey, how come those negative thoughts can give someone an ease phase?

Kuroo sat up on his bed, swayed his feet to touch the floor. He could feel the cold of the floor, but it wouldn't stop him to do what he will do. With his even more awful bed hair than usual, he opened the door of his room, only to see their dark living room. He tip toed to the other room in his apartment, stopped right in front of the door, and rethink.

Will I bother him if I quietly sneaked to his side and sleep there? Will I make him pissed of me?Will he think that I'm a pathetic? He didn't know that he could feel this anxious before. His mind was full with negative thoughts he never wanted to think even once.

He knocked once, to realize that he might disturbed Tsukishima's sleep. So he turned the door knob and opened the door slowly, hoping that it wouldn't make any noise that will possibly wake Tsukishima up. He opened it just as wide as his body could get through.

As it was opened, he couldn't see the room clearly since it was dark, but he could spot the bed with Tsukishima on it. So he got in and closed the door slowly. But as it was closed, Kuroo could hear sheet ruffled. Tsukishima was up.

"Kuroo-san, is that you?" Tsukishima mumbled, rubbing his half-closed eyes. Kuroo, of course, startled and turned his body right away to face Tsukishima.

"Yeah, it's me. Just.. just checking if you're really asleep. I'm gonna back to my room. Bye-"

"But it's 3 in the morning," Tsukishima stated with his still half tired eyes, looking at Kuroo who just stood before the door.

"Well, I-"

"Have a nightmare?" Tsukishima asked. Without waiting for the other's answer, Tsukishima patted the empty space beside him. "Here."

Kuroo slowly walked to the bed, feeling happy yet troubled. First, he was happy because Tsukishima has known what's happened with him. It's like they used some telepathy here, when they're absolutely not. And second, he was feeling troubled because he has disturbed Tsukishima's -probably- sweet dreams. As he said, it's 3 in the morning, where people still closed their eyes and maybe snore.

He slowly sat on the side of the bed. He looked at Tsukishima, still feeling troubled. "How can you guess I had a nightmare?" Kuroo asked, as quiet as he can. He didn't even know why did he have to speak like that.

"You never randomly woke up in 3 A.M. just to check if I'm asleep or not," Tsukishima answered, yawning. "OK, let's sleep. You have class in 9, right?"

Tsukishima laid himself down. But Kuroo is still troubled. It caused Tsukishima to pulled Kuroo down to bed, and put his hand around the older boy's body. Even though he closed his eyes, Tsukishima knew how close their face were. He could felt the warm breathe from Kuroo's nose, blowing his face gently.

"Tsukki?" Kuroo called. Tsukishima just hummed as respons, still closing his eyes. "Did I bother you?"

Slowly, Tsukishima opened his eyes again, to see Kuroo's face in his eyes. His expression somehow was a little miserable. He smiled, just a little, just to make sure that this is not bothering him at all.

Because, hey, he didn't want to be the one who have to rely on Kuroo. He's a man too. He wants to be relied on, he wants to be the one who can comfort Kuroo, he wants to be the person Kuroo could tell any story to. He didn't want to only get, but he also wants to give. Anything that he could give.

"Not really. It's okay," Tsukishima slowly and gently caressed Kuroo's cheek. And he could see a slight of red color appeared on it.

"Is it? I'm glad," Kuroo closed his eyes, but with a smile plastered at his face.

"By the way, what's the nightmare about?" Tsukishima said. But he didn't get the answer since Kuroo has slept. Still with the smile on his face.

Tsukishima just smiled.

It's okay, Tsukishima said under his breathe, I'm here, and I'm not gonna leave.
