Yuffie gave a triumphant grin as she tightened the bow on the conspicuously heart-shaped box of chocolates. Holding it closely to her chest; Yuffie exited her room of the inn to examine the rest of the party. It was complete hell. Aerith and Tifa were both batting their eyelashes at the un-responsive Cloud, Barret was chatting away with Cid at the bar, and then there was Vincent.
He was being his typical, reclusive, quiet self. He was staring blankly into his glass with a solemn look on his face. Bouncing down the stairs; Yuffie approached the man brimming with enthusiasm.
Then, it happened.
Yuffie slipped and fell down the stairs. The precious packaged slipped from her greedy hands and began flying at the unsuspecting head of Mr. Valentine.
Ping.
Vincent picked up the packaged and looked at it with one eyebrow raised. 'To: Vincent, From: Yuffie.' He let the lightest smile flicker across his face.
Yuffie never got to see that smile, for after sending the Valentine flying across the room; she promptly locked herself away in a flurry of embarrassed blushes.
