The Following Chapter of Robot Apocalypse, please take note that this chapter is quite a bit lengthy. But it may very well be enjoyable at that.
Tobey woke up.
He yawned and realized he wasn't in his bedroom, it looked nothing like his bedroom, everything around him is made of wood, well at least the walls were. There was one mirror and a dim light shone upon him. It came from the ceiling. It was still dark outside but Tobey could hear loud buzzing and banging noises. The kind you hear when you're near a heavy construction site., but the sounds were distant and therefore not too distracting. In fact, he hadn't realized it at first but he was in a small cabin that was constructed by his robots. Because he commanded them to do that.
Tobey was still a bit tired but decided to get up and go outside anyway. He had his pajamas on. He didn't bother to put new clothes.
Once Tobey was outside there was a nice empty space in front of him and the trees were tall and thin. He looked up and saw many bright stars, MANY of them. Tobey thought they looked comforting but he could see no moon anywhere. A huge banging sound interrupted his search for the moon and looked behind him. He saw his cabin, he was standing 30 feet away from it and behind were some trees but he saw a couple of lights, some red and some blue. He swore he saw an outline of one of his robots. He knew that his plan was in progress, he knew that his robots were building something he really wanted. And in turn, would help him get someone he wanted.
Whatever reason, Tobey decided to walk into the trees in front of him, not before fishing out a flashlight in his back pocket of his pajamas. Believe it or not, his pajamas were all bright red and had yellow stars on them.
Tobey turned on his flashlight and walked into the tall thin but bushy trees . He occasionally saw small lights illuminate and flicker around him. He concluded they were fireflies. He shone the light on a tree and was perplexed that he saw a scribbled and marked "star" on the tree. That's quite odd Tobey thought. He wondered if someone made this image in the bark.
He continued on walking and looked at his watch, he shone his flashlight on it. "1: 15 AM. I thought it was earlier than that." He continued walking for another 15 minutes and it was silent. He couldn't hear any annoying construction sounds anymore. Suddenly,
in front of him there were no more trees but grass and further along that sand and water. A beach! He could see the moon now, it was really bright and so white that Tobey turned off his flashlight. Didn't need that crap anymore! He ran towards the sand and when he was close to the water he sat down and stared at the endless ocean of water. In the middle was the moon giving its reflection in the water, it kind of looked spooky considering he's here all alone. And for some reason, he's just realized that. Tobey took off his pajamas and only had boxers on, he lay on the sand wanting to know what it felt like. It felt pretty fresh, and Tobey closed his eyes being engulfed in the soft sand. Good thing it wasn't wet or too cold.
"How I wish to desire having a certain someone next to me." Tobey thought.
Becky, I mean Wordgirl was inspecting the damage, only to find out there hardly was any. It's been a week and two days since Tobey attacked the city and Wordgirl couldn't find Tobey anywhere to confront him…again.
As Wordgirl was flying around in the air, she figured Tobey couldn't be far off from the attack of the robot. She just wasn't sure what building Tobey could have been on, maybe he was inside a building and controlling through an open window. Problem with that is that there's hundreds of open windows.
Wordgirl: "Arrgh!" This is annoying! Tobey never hides around, he's always standing on some roof."
Suddenly, Wordgirl caught a glimpse of something on a building. She saw a small light reflection on a roof. She swooped down next to it and picked it up, it looked like yellow strands or hair. Wordgirl is certain it was Tobeys.
"He must have been on this building." Wordgirl thought.
She noticed that the building Tobey must have been on (because she had evidence of it) was not too far off from the attack. It was only 6 blocks away. She wanted to make sure next time there was a robot attack she would confront him dead on.
Tobey woke up, again and only to find more annoying loud construction noises.
"That's odd, I only commanded for one building not an entire town."
Tobey stood up and realized the sand was smoking hot and noticed that somehow he was barefooted.
"Ouch! Ow!"
He quickly ran to the grass to avoiding burning his feet. The grass was soft and moist and the sun shining on him. He quickly ran into the forest and to his destination where he had his cabin built. He could clearly see that there were no trees behind his cabin but a large gray building that looked like a warehouse or some sort of factory. In fact it was Tobeys protection hideout that could withstand a nuclear explosion, but only ONE nuclear explosion. Inside are many secrets that Tobey may reveal to you but that's up to him to decide.
"This sure is nice" Tobey thought.
He went in front of the hideout and saw next to it a high concrete detection pole, similar to Seattle's space needle. This needle is his observation deck. One can take the elevator up to the top. There was emergency stairs too.
Tobey looked behind him and saw 15 robots standing there, they were silent.
Tobey: "So I assume you guys are finished right?"
One of the robots nodded.
Tobey: "Excellent work you guys! But I need a couple of volunteers to guard this building round the clock."
10 robots volunteered to guard and stand around the large hideout. The other 5 decided to guard at the beach which was not far off. Tobey knew that although the island may be small, he would need more robots to cover more good ground around the island. So he decided to go inside and get to work on producing robot soldiers. Inside is a pure evil revenge lair of a brilliant mastermind, and Tobey was sitting in a huge comfortable silver chair that's twice his height. In front of him is a huge curved pure HD screen with smaller screens around it for other uses. Tobey pulled out a remote that was on the chair and it is connected to the screen, it had a couple of buttons. He pushed the big red one and all the screens were turned on, the screens each had its own amazing view of a gigantic particular city. Like New York City, Los Angeles, Tokoyo, Seattle, San Francisco, London, Paris and… Wordgirl?
Tobey squinted and saw in the main screen (the biggest one) a small wordgirl on a random building in Fair City. Tobey's eyes widened, his equipment was working, his ultimate Dexters laboratory allows him to watch his crush, her every move and several hotspots around the world. Tobey decided to give another wonderful surprise for his soon-to-be girlfriend. He had big plans for her… And for practically everyone else living on this planet.
And that's the end of this chapter!
