I opened my eyes to see myself infront of a blueish cat. "Finally you're awake.. I thought you were dead." said the strange cat as she liked my ear.
"Who are you?" I asked as I started to try to get up.
"I'm Mistyfoot, what Clan are you from?" she asked.
"I haven't an idea."
"Do you know who your parents are?"
"No.." I sighed batting at my tail.
"I'll be your guardian then. Do you have a name?" she said flicking her tail at me.
"Not that I can remember hearing.." I said quietly.
"I'll give you a name then. You name is now Shadowkit." she said give my ear a quick lick.
"Firakit!" Squirrelflight cried
"There is no use.. The patrols can't find her.." Brambleclaw sighed pressing his muzzle into the she-cat's side.
"But.. We can't just give up. We have to find her!" the she-cat yowled.
"I know," Brambleclaw said, "I know."
