Spencer felt Ashley's forehead. "Are you sure you feel okay? You look a little blush." "I'm fine," Ashley said. "Let me take your temperature to make sure," said Spencer. Spencer went in her medicine cabinet and grabbed the thermometer. "Ash, you have a fever of 103!! Let's go to my house and I will take care of you." Spencer spent the whole night at Ashley's bedside and getting her anything she needed. When it was dinner time, Spencer brought Ashley a bowl of soup and some hot tea on a tray. "Thanks, Spencer, I love you." "And I love you. Now, eat up and get some rest. I will be right here if you need anything." "Okay. Gasp Oh no, I forgot, I have to go to work tomorrow. I'm meeting Ethan at the studio to record some songs for the album." "No, you can't. Ashley, you're sick. You have to get better. I'll call Ethan for you and tell him you have the flu." "Okay, thanks." "Get some rest. I'm right here doing my homework. I'll be in bed later." Spencer kissed Ashley on the cheek and headed for her desk. Ashley smiled thinking to herself that she had an awesome girlfriend. She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

When morning came, Spencer opened her eyes and turned her head to look at Ashley sleeping. She said to herself, "She's beautiful even when she sleeps." Spencer got out of bed, got dressed, and brushed her teeth. After she was ready to start her day, she fished her cell phone out of her purse and called Ethan. Ethan said it was fine that Ashley missed work and rescheduled to meet Ashley the next week. When Spencer hung up the phone with Ethan, she quietly went down stairs and made Ashley a healthy breakfast. She went back up stairs with breakfast and kissed Ashley to wake her up. "Good morning, sleepy head." Ashley opened her eyes, stretched, and sat up. "Good morning, hey, for me?" "Yea, I got up early to make it for you." "Thanks, for everything." "No prob, you know I would do anything for you. Well, I have to go to school today. I want you to relax and take it easy. Call me if you need anything. I will be back right after school. I told my mom that you are here, she said she is gonna check up on you a few times." Ashley got out of bed. "Well, on that note, thanks for taking care of me. I gotta go." Spencer pushed Ashley back in bed. "Oh no you don't. I checked with my mom and she said she really has no problem with us being together. Just stay here. You will be fine, I promise."

While Spencer was at school, Ashley spent the day sitting in bed writing Spencer a song that she was going to sing to her on their big six month anniversary date coming up the next month. She missed Spencer so much and couldn't wait for 2:30 to come because she would be home. She couldn't wait for Spencer to be back in her arms and she couldn't wait to kiss those lips that felt like home to her mouth. There was no doubt in her mind that she was in love. She wanted to be with her every waking moment and regretted leaving high school early when they broke up. Now that they are back together, she wished she could find a way back in to school. She started to feel sad because she didn't get to see her beautiful Spencer every day like she used to. This thought drove her crazy and she beat herself up about it. Then she saw Spencer.

"Ash, I home from school." Spencer saw Ashley crying and wrapped her arm around her. "Ashley, what's wrong?" Ashley said crying, "I miss you so much, Spencer." "What are you talking about? I'm right here." "No, not like that. I want to be with you all the time, and now that I quit school, I can't." "Ashley, it won't be much longer. It's the middle of the year, and I'm gonna be graduating soon. After I graduate, my plan is to go out of state for college. I'm going to ask my parents to loan me some money to rent an apartment, and I was hoping we could live together. So it's not like we won't see each other everyday forever." "Awe, really? I love you so much."
