Kisa's Secret
Kisa has a secret she's hiding. Another poem
A girl at school
Always smiled
Was very friendly
And never vile
She was nice to everyone
They were nice to her
She said she was never sad
But they weren't sure
She never showed any weakness
And always cheered them up
If a family member got injured
She was there to perk them up
Every one trusted her
She did the same with affection
Even though she lied to them
They never felt rejection
Everybody knew she's hiding something
And that it was about her home
Because she always dodged questions
And always came home alone
When school was over
She was in a rush
People had asked why
But she decided to keep it hush, hush
While she went home alone
She hurried with fear
As she came to the door
She was quiet so they couldn't hear
Then her mother came
And threw a beer bottle at her head
Then her father came
And brought the whip instead
She was bleeding like crazy
Her "parents" didn't care
Her arms and stomach hurt in pain
Which they only gave, never shared
Once they had stopped
She tried to run her room
They stopped her and grabbed her
And tossed her the broom
She had to do every thing
In her power not to cry
Even though she was trying
A tear slipped from her eye
Once she was done
She took another beating
Than ran to her room
And started praying
She prayed her foster brother
Was happy up there in heaven
He died from their parents beating
And his name was Kevin
She goes to sleep afraid
In hopes she'd be alive
When she does, nothing changing's
And she gets cut with a knife
She repeats the day
Doing everything the same way
