Happy Valentine's Day! I am so proud of myself; I actually wrote a holiday piece! Just a little warning, I changed the style of poetry for the last stanza, so don't rely too heavily on the triplet rhythm of a limerick. If you do, you will be thrown off track when you reach the end.

Disclaimer: I do not own Danny Phantom, or whatever girl you imagine him going out with.

Danny's V-Day (08)

On Valentine's Day of '08,

Young Danny prepared for his date.

He made a strong card,

Which he had found hard,

And hoped that he wouldn't be late.

He had trimmed a square made of art,

And glued in the center a heart.

With purple and lace,

And glitter to paste.

He had been shot by a love dart.

At last when the card was complete,

And evened and dried to be neat,

He flew to the house

Of his girl that wows,

To share a warm Valentine's eat.

And then he gave his card to her,

With it, his tender heart so dear.

Succumbing to her lovely lure.

They set off to their meal with cheer.

And with their urge satisfied

To prance with childish pride.
